Friendly place but unfortunately staff don't speak good English. They charge for butter, one cube of spread cheese and bread separately as well. Prices for the mains and drinks are very reasonable though

Aufgrund der vielen positiven Rezensionen sind wir dort mal hin. Der Speisekarte ist auf portugiesisch. Die Erklärung des Personal auf Englisch war eher dürftig. Hauptgericht (pata negra) bestand eigentlich nur aus Fleisch und Pommes (kein Salat). Alles in allem kann man hier gut für kleines Geld essen - geschmacklich nicht so der burner. Vielleicht haben wir nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Personal war freundlich, Atmosphäre rustikal - würde ich aber nicht nochmal hin.

Sehr lecker traditionelles Essen. Große Portionen und guter Preis dafür (zwischen 8 und 14 Euro). Total aufmerksamer Kellner der uns half die Speisekarte zu verstehen. Absolute Empfehlung

Um excelente sítio para um almoço em família. Pedimos o bacalhau à lagareiro e uma dose de legumes e estava tudo ótimo, tudo com grande qualidade! Para sobremesa ainda provamos a tarte de Lima e o bolo de bolacha e ficamos muito bem impressionados. Uma ótima relação qualidade-preço e é de salientar a simpatia dos funcionários. Recomendo

Un super moment bien mérité car nous avons marché 30 minutes depuis le centre pour rejoindre le restaurant. Et ce fut un festin ! Une attention parfaite des serveurs, des conseils, un délice sans fin ! Et les quantités mon dieu !!! Il faut y aller avec la faim ! Faites vous plaisir et rdv dans ce petit resto typique pour découvrir les joies de la générosité portugaise !!

Very friendly staff, family neighborhood restaurant.
The portions are large and the food is fresh had the grilled calamari, sea bass and sardines and all three were cooked exquisitely

It’s the place that makes you happy.
Tasty food with attentive and heartwarming service at very reasonable price.
They do not have fixed menú. The menú on the day is full of variety,
The beef is tender and fried sausage is tasty.
Fried fish with rice of tomatoes is also recomendable. It comes in a great quantity. Even a half size will surprise your stomach.
The waiters are so attentive and friendly. They always ask us if satisfied with taste.
They are very good at speaking Spanish.
The dinner for two ppl costs between 20 and 25 euros including a bottle of house wine. You can save some 10 euros compared to restaurants nearby.
We had visited five times out of nine nights staying in Porto.

La comida está riquísima, la carne muy tierna, las patatas deliciosas y el postre buenísimo. Fuimos a este restaurant y todo fue perfecto: La comida estupenda, la atención maravillosa, buen ambiente y el precio accesible. Si están en Oporto, no duden en visitarlo. Los camarones al ajillo y el pie de limón estaban muy buenos.

Un placer comer aquí, es verdad que está un poco apartado, pero después del paseo hasta allí llega el homenaje. Local acogedor y servicio cercano y amable. Comimos pulpo y picanha, la carne muy tierna y rica, y el pulpo, sí, valía 20 €, pero en casa te cobran lo mismo y mucha menos cantidad. De postre tarta de queso casera riquísima y abundante. Totalmente recomendable!!!!

A superb restaurant in every sense. The food was 10 out of 10. The space is cosy yet spacious at the same time. The portions were very generous as were all the staff that interacted with us throughout our visit. On preparing to leave the manager came across to us to ensure everything met our expectations. He also gave us a bottle of water upon asking for a glass of water. I'm sad to fly home tomorrow as it means i go back to mostly mediocre chain restaurants of London. Thank you Rito, I shall miss you.

What a great find, good value and lovely local food. The bread, was especially delicious. The service here was very friendly and welcoming, they made us relaxed, no rush to get us through despite it being busy, luckily I did book in advance which I would recommend. The food that we ordered was all delicious and large portions, we came out stuffed and walked back to the front to try and walk off all that gorgeous food.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Trotz Sprachbarrieren beiderseits, fühlt man sich sehr Willkommen. Die Portionen sind echt groß und überraschender weise gab es Pommes dazu.
Wir hatten die Portugiesische Wurst und Fleisch, also können wir zum Fisch nichts sagen.

Have been here twice and loved it both times. The owner and waitstaff are very welcoming and helpful (and tolerant of my poor attempts at Portuguese). Portions are generous and most main dishes can be easily split by two people. We split the vitelo - sliced steak with potatoes - and were pretty full, but not so full that we couldn’t enjoy dessert! The bolo de bolacha (cake made with cookies and cream) was outstanding and just beautiful. Great experience all around!

Fomos sem reserva e sem demora foi-nos apresentada uma mesa. Vimos as avaliações do restaurante na internet, fomos com expectativas altas e não ficamos desiludidos! Staff muito simpática. Espaço silencioso, ideal para uma refeição em família sem a necessidade de falar alto para nos ouvirmos uns aos outros (raridade hoje em dia).

Un gran restaurante. Muy acogedor. El trato de los camareros muy bueno, incluso aunque no saben español. Se acercó incluso el dueño para ver que tal estaba todo. La comida deliciosa. Las raciones son muy grandes, cuidado incluso aunque pidas medias raciones. Nosotros pedimos ensalada tropical, picanha, solomillo (bife caçarola) y minhinas, todo acompañado de patatas, verduras y arroz, y eramos 6. Los postres muy buenos en especial la mousse que aunque no lo pone es de chocolate.
El detalle que nos dejó sin palabras fue que la cuenta te la traen en una tablet, por lo que no se tira papel.

Everything was really good. The food was delicious and the stuff very very kind and even though they don't speak english they are willing to try to resolve every your question. The place is typical and cozy,you can see it's no turistic at all. Also the desserts are awesome. Price is very reasonable and the place is not so far you can go walking from the center in 20 minutes and you can appreciate the real Oporto . Recommended

This delightful restaurant is in a neighborhood and away from the centre of town. It is most certainly worth the visit as the food, selection and value for money was incredible. The gambas for starters were huge - approx 8 huge juicy prawns served in a lovely tasty garlic infused oil/sauce. Salmon also amazing. Extremely good value for money, friendly and helpful waiters. It was a pleasure to be there. Thankyou!

! Super recomendable! Alejado de la zona turística, parece más bien de gente local. Los camareros Ricardo y Jorge muy amables. Comida local, raciones muy grandes y precio atractivo. Para repetir

The restaurant was recommended by our Air bnb host. The place is nice despite the fact that TV is on constantly. The food however is very good and from what I saw very much reflects the region. The prices were total surprise to me ! I didn’t expect to eat that good for that kind of money, oh and we’re students so we’re talking very affordable. I totally recommend it for people who seek to try something local. P.s. Its not a touristy place so the menu is not translated and the waiters dont speak English very well but sheer amount of kindness and helpfulness made the whole experience very special for us.

Preis / Leistung mehr als ok. Wir sind dort essen gegangen, da das Restaurant nicht weit von unserer Pension gelegen war. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Essen war für den Preis super. Man bekommt hier Gerichte, die unter 10€ liegen und sie sind reichhaltig und lecker.
