We joined 2-hour boat tour. It was a bit cold especially on the way back, but the experience was great. We went to the place near Tua and returned. The guide was via an audio machine at the beginning, but later the staffs explained and answered questions, which was very interesting for us.

We booked the 2 hour boat trip up the Douro river. The cost was 20 euro each but it was well worth it. The staff were very helpful and the audio guide (English, German, Portuguese) was informative. The boat was nice and tidy and well run. The valley the river flows thru is possibly the most beautiful and picturesque place I have been too. I would recommend this company

A experiência de ter navegado numa das regiões mais lindas de Portugal - O Douro Vinhateiro. Está presa com barcos tipo Rebelo, confortáveis e com funcionários educados. Foram duas horas em que naveguei do Pinhão à Foz do Tua onde admirei as magníficas margens deste rio.

Très belle balade de 2h sur le Douro avec explications sur les différentes quintas. Personnel vraiment gentil un très bon moment . petite dégustation de Porto à ka fin de la balade. Prix très abordable. Je vous le recommande vivement.

Le douro est juste magnifique, à ne surtout pas louper la ballade.. ballade de 2h nickel ... parté de pinhao Ces le plus joli.

The boat ride was really good but the experience was lacking touch. You pay (reasonable price 10€/px) you enter and you sit. There's a classic sound with a narrative describing the surroundings, playing on the back and that's it. It was a pleasant 1hour tour but there's space for improvement.

Fantastic tour, great tour guide, a must-do when visiting Porto. The second winery that hosts the lunch could use some improvement. The food was good enough. The wine pours felt stingy and I (as a representative of our group) felt the need to ask for more. All in all, a really great tour, especially before visiting the port houses in Porto.

We did the one hour trip on a cold day so stayed inside the cabin with rugs supplied. The scenery is brilliant from the river and our guide was a lovely guy who gave us a lot of good information on what we were seeing. There was no wind, so the water was like glass

Very, very pleasant. Sit back, enjoy the trip on the Douro River. They have audiophone in all languages. You will see many vineyards and estates. It's unbelievably beautiful. The boats are like the old ones that brought the wine down the river.

Recently book the 12 km Kayak tour on the Douro river, from Tua to Pinhão for a group of adults and children, by email and phone calls. During this contacts, as optional features for the tour, were we asked if we wanted a small snack to take with us and that no guided would be provided. This tour starts in Pinhão, were we board in one of the company motor boats towards Tua, where the Kayak activity starts. Upon our arrival to the Pinhão pier, we've asked to reduce the number of kayaks and the company agreed and even told us that they would move the seats from the extra kayaks in order to better accommodate the children. After dealing with this logistics, we've mad the final payment. When we arrived to the Tua pier, the company staff unloaded all the kayaks (even the ones no longer needed) to pier, life vests were provided at our request and no security briefing was made (not normal in Portugal, on activities like this). As on parts of the Douro river, there is no mobile coverage, we've asked what to do in case of emergency and the company staff didn't care to answer and started to be rude - we were left at the pier, no assistance to put kayaks on the water was provided (not normal). When returned to Pinhão, the person with whom we've made all the arrangements and payment, started arguing with us that some kayaks were missing and we would be the responsible - we replied that the company sent more kayaks than the ones we agreed and they were at the pier where the company left them - strange thing is that he was complaining that only one kayak was missing, but on reality there were more and we told him that. As this person started to be even more rude (he even push one of the kids on our group, a 4 year old almost to the water), I've asked the official complaint books (mandatory in Portugal) and he refused because he had ask permission to the company owner - he finally gave us the book when we said the we would call the police. After he started shouting with us, that none of this would happen if we would request a guide were we replied that although there is no information regarding this issue on the site we've asked by phone and were told that the company didn't provided guides. He was rude, lacked of any experience dealing with customers, neglected his customer security but not knowing how many of us where on the tour... Regardless of what has happened here, the major concern we had was (our) safety - no activity briefing was made, the company never asked for the group names/ages (needed to activate any insurance if needed), they didn't asked our previous experience on such activities (fortunately we had), and regarding the kids, the only thing they told us was that they didn't recommend to do this activity if they have less than 2 years. One of my friends made a post here on Google Reviews, regarding our experience and the company replied basically with lies, which worries me to have a company that doesn't not take their customer safety as one of their primary focus, to operate on such beautiful place.

Mau serviço, falta de profissionalismo e muito questionável em termos de segurança (passeio de canoa). Funcionários antipáticos e mal educados. Não aconselho.

Efectuei uma bela viagem de barco, navegando desde o Pinhão até ao Tua e de regresso ao Pinhão. Uma viagem de 2 horas que valeu para conhecer o região do nosso famoso vinho do Porto. Foi servido a bordo um cálice deste néctar para degustar e apreciar a paisagem com as vinhas nos socalcos do território. Experiência que convido a todos quer Portugueses ou turistas Estrangeiros, que nos visitam.

The boat tour was nice but nothing amazing. We went on a 1 hour tour and enjoyed the views of the Douro Valley. It would have been nice to be told some information about the area or have some interesting places pointed out to us. It can get very hot on the river in direct sunlight so make sure you pick a spot undercover!

Très belle croisière de 2H avec l audioguide mais il aurai fallu une autre animation au retour,personnelle très acceuillant je vous recommande cette compagnie de croisière

Un paseo por el Duero entretenido. Se hace corto, pero también es económico.

La croisière est un piège à touristes. Cher pour ce que c'est. La partie entre Porto et Regua ne présente pas beaucoup d'intérêt. Seuls les 27 derniers km sont beaux. Longue attente à Pinhao à la gare.

Had a great relaxing time with friends on this tour. The views are unexpectedly vast and relaxing. A speaking tour going up river, peace and quiet coming back.

Nice trip on the Douro, but the multilingual app to give commentary on the trip encourages people who don't have any sort of headset to play their language at high volume on speaker. Which is a pain for those who planned ahead or anyone who wants to enjoy the trip in peace.

Die Landschaft ist sehr schön aber halt nicht abwechslungsreich. Die Erklärung muss man sich als App runterladen. Der Portwein ist ein einfacher Tawny wo die Flasche 10€ kostet. Mir hat er nicht geschmeckt.

Einfach einfach durchgeführt. Nichts besonderes diese 2-Stunden-Fahrt. Der ausgeschenkte Portwein war der schlechteste den ich je hatte. Den Audioguide muss man sich selbst aufs Telefon laden. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten eher nicht so freundlich. Kurz eine standardisierte Massenabfertigung die man sich auch sparen kann.

A lovely boat ride for just the right amount of time. Cell phone interaction works just OK, make sure you download the app before you get on the boat. The history of the Port business is well explained and informative. You can take a lot of photos, the Douro valley is spectacular.

A 2hr tour from Pinhao to Tua started at 10:45. Cost: 20eur per person. You receive instructions on how to enjoy audio description (you gotta download Magnifico Douro and audio you want to hear) staff speaks English, at the end there was a sip of Porto Tawny given to everyone on board. Overall a good experience and wonderful views

Beautiful traditional boats, the added advantage is that they are electric - both environmental friendly and wonderfully quiet, making for a peaceful journey up the river!

We booked a late tour for the duoro valley and luckily were the only two attending. The boat was very unique and comfortable. Our guide, luis, was marvellous!! He was very friendly and informative. It felt more like a boats tour with friends than a guided tour with only two people. He knew so much about the area and gave us a great insight into portugal, it's people and the unesco protected area. We had such a great time, thank you so much!

Sadly, the magnificent views were marred by the fact that they really really try to pack guests into the boat. Instead of enjoying a leisurely boat ride on the Douro River, with some space on the boat to look at the various vantage points, you have to rush to find a seat, and stay there for the whole hour or two hours since all other spots are taken. There is no room to walk around, and if other guests are.noisy and distracting, good luck. The audio guide is a bit like someone reading from Wikipedia, quite robotic and impersonal. If you can manage it, I'd recommend making other, more private and relaxing, arrangements.

Not informative at all for most of the couples going on the boat. Explanation should be equally provided to anyone, no matter if they were Portuguese or not.

A nice boat trip up and then back down the River Douro. If you want to relax and look at the magnificent scenery then this trip is for you. €20 per person with a free glass of port so not bad value.
