Food was amazing and views were stunning. The seared tuna was top and the sauce used for the shrimp/(prawns) were a close second. I’d suggest calling to reserve a table as I think (based on no solid evidence whatsoever) that that secures you a table with a better view. Food and ambiance are worth the price (we paid around 80 euros for two people, consisting of food, bottle of wine, desserts, and tip).

My wife and I stopped by this place recently on Vacation. Wow, what fantastic views. For the short visit we had this was the place with the views. Had a great taste and bought a few bottles to go that we enjoyed during our 9 day visit to Portugal. Thanks.

Estuvimos durmiendo en el agroturismo. Habitaciones sencillas pero agradables, vistas espectaculares!! Para los que les guste correr hay unos caminos alrededor de la finca que me ofrecieron de las carreras más agradables que he hecho nunca. Además, la noche incluye una visita guiada a la bodega y la prueba de sus vinos! En nuestro caso nos atendió Rita, un 10

Small Winery but unique. They take old way to produce wine. Guide was friendly and wine was good. They deliver to your home if it's in Europe or America. And fee is free if you buy 100euros above.
They also have bnb. It'd be great ice to stay a night when it's warmer.

Estive na Quinta do Tedo num passeio, em final de setembro, com um grupo de pessoas, fomos muito bem recebidos, conhecemos as instalações da vinícola e degustamos seus vinhos fantásticos. É um passeio imperdível.

Aconselho a visita com degustação de vinhos. O staff é extremamente simpático e com grandes conhecimentos vinícolas que nos explicam todo o processo desde a produção á degustação. Adoramos.

5* за вид, прекрасное месторасположение, очень красивая ухоженая территория. На дегустацию не попали, но пошли в местное бистро попробовать вино. Вино очень вкусное. Тут очень туристическое место, за 50 мл вина 8€. Сырно-мясная тарелка 12€ - очень средне по вкусу. Попросили для ребенка омлет, принесли пересоленый, есть не смогли даже взрослые. В счет омлет не включили, но настроение после посещение посредственное. Однозначно в этом регионе есть куда более душевные и вкусные места.

Great rooms with beautiful views of the river! We had our reunion there and rented most of the rooms, our rooms were beautiful, very comfortable beds, great amenities and the owners Kay and Vincent, are the best!!! I would love to come back very soon and visit here again!

For the wine tour (came with oporto tours). Was really great, good tour, good wine (had the rose, tawny port, late bottle vintage), cute space. We were told this is 1 of 2 A class wineries.

We came here for a wine tour and lunch during our very quick trip to the Douro, and we cannot say enough nice things. The tour was lovely (Rita was our guide). It did not last long, and we were able to taste both Port and their selection of red wines. An important note is that they are committed to biological viticulture. Their process is fascinating and integrates both the old and the new. Their wines, including their ports, also do not give you a headache with is a huge plus. We ended up buying a bottle of olive oil as well as four bottles of their grand reserve red. The views are also breathtaking, so see for yourself!

We had a wonderful afternoon here. There are tastings, a bistro, and also walking trails. You must make reservations in advance for the tours but we were able to drive up and walk in for a tasting. The views are amazing and the port and red wines were both great!! We stopped at the bistro afterwards, and they have a glass enclosed porch that allows one to see the views even in the colder, rainier off season!

Friendly staff! Small and cozy B&B merging Portuguese hospitaliy with French sofistication. Our very young tour guide was very knowledgeable and her passion for the winery was contagious - and the wine degustation was great - far above our expectations. But, better still was the veal with pumpkin purée serve at dinner - and apple crumble desert - outwordly experience! Looking for a romantic weekend? This is it!

ports were tasty. red wine we sampled was very bad.
service was awful. they were very rude. we did not reserve in advance and that seemed like a big problem for them. they didn't have room for a tour so we got a tasting, which was fine.
we were 20 minutes early for our 1pm tasting and asked if we could have a coffee in the bistro. we were told we could not--they had reservations. we went upstairs at 1 for our tasting and there was only 1 table occupied.

J’ai vraiment apprécié la visite, la guide était vraiment bonne et semblait pas avoir un texte tout fait comme à l’autre endroit que nous avons visité, elle répondait bien aux questions. L’endroit est super beau et les porto était excellent, je ne m’attendait pas à autant aimer ça.

Si vous avez déjà visité une cave à Porto, les Quintas le long du Douro ne vous apprendrons rien de plus. En ce qui nous concerne la visite en français a duré à peine 30 minutes. Nous pensions faire une visite plus profonde de la Quinta plutôt que les simples lieux de stockage du vin. A la fin une dégustation de 3 Porto. Au final nous passons à la caisse 12€ par personne. Nous trouvons le prix un peu élevé.

Très bien. Nous sommes arrivés à la fermeture (19h) et la vendeuse nous a quand même reçu chaleureusement en répondant à nos questions. Nous avons pu goûter les produits, acheté puis elle nous a servi un autre verre que nous avons pu boire tranquillement dehors.

The staff were professional for the wine tasting and the wine was great. We took a bottle of Ruby Port home. We had lunch at the bistro and the food was great. I recommend the cheese platter, but stick to the cheese as the charcuterie was a little lacking. I recommend the shrimp as well, the sauce is amazing. The food is a little pricey but it all tasted amazing.

We were very pleased with our visit to Tedo for a tour and tasting. The tour was interesting and well-paced and the service impeccable. The bistro offers gorgeous views and fine dishes. The olives were especially good.

Quinta do Tedo is an extraordinary lovely place. The owner and the staff are really helpful even with special requests. We had a really great experience walking through the little Quinta and get to know the whole Portwine production process. The wineyards are close by and it's possible to walk through them on a nice path for a bit more than 2km. If you're lucky you spot the horse somewhere who is helping during the harvest. We can highly recommend visiting - next time we will also make sure to stay in the B&B.

Tra le tante cantine visitate nella Valle del Douro abbiamo provato anche questa. Io e il mio ragazzo non abbiamo prenotato, ci siamo presentati all'ingresso e abbiamo fatto una visita in inglese che iniziava mezz'ora dopo. Tour molto interessante, con spiegazioni relative alla casa vinicola, ai tipi di Porto prodotti, al processo di produzione. La vista sui vigneti e sul fiume è incantevole! Tour che si è concluso con la degustazione di tre tipi diversi di Porto. Durata totale meno di un'ora, hanno un negozio dove è possibile acquistare ovviamente bottiglie.
Personale preparato e molto gentile, oltre ai 3 tipi di Porto abbiamo chiesto di assaggiare un loro vino rosso ed al termine, avendo acquistato 3 bottiglie non ci hanno fatto pagare i biglietti del tour! Assolutamente consigliata la visita!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Quinta do Tedo. Learning about wine production from our French student guide was a plus! Through his friendly demeanor, we gained a good overall understanding of grape/wine basics. Tasting the Porto wines produced on property was a delicious experience. After a day of exploring the Douro River valley, a nice dip in the pool was a welcomed treat. Best of all, three amazing dogs greeted us every day!

Love, love, love this place! Such nice surroundings, food, wines and service! Can't fault it. Really accessible for English speakers, friendly and helpful service, very helpful and understanding in regards to food allergies, and everything is just lovely!! I wish I could go there more often!

Com produção de Vinho do Porto Tawny, Ruby e Rosé não possuindo vinho branco do Porto mas possuindo também um excelente vinho de mesa! Vinícola de pequena / média dimensão com visitas em português/alemão/inglês/francês. O local possui ainda possibilidade de alojamento. Com uma localização entre o rio Tedo e o rio Douro é o local ideal para relaxar e fazer passeios na natureza em trilhos marcados com fauna e flora da região como a águia ou o chasco preto.

Excellent tasting of their wide range of Port in a beautiful setting. They had just had a bus arrive and were very busy, and yet they accommodated me and it was a great experience. Beautiful views at the confluence of the Tedo and Douro rivers. Easily reached from the N-222.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Das Team war sehr freundlich und es gab für die Übernachtungsgäste eine inkludierte Weinführung mit anschließendem Tasting. Das Abendessen war großartig und in einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Abendessen wie auch Frühstück findet in einem Raum statt wo man einen fantastischen Blick auf den Fluss hat verbunden mit einer privaten atmosphäre da es nur 5 Gästezimmer gibt.

We recently visited the area and had a Tour and Tasting at the Quinta Do Tedo. The setting is magnificent and the Bistro of the quinta had a marvellous view across the valley. We were given an excellent and informative tour followed by a splendid tasting. We would recommend this to every visitor.

Visitas a Quinta do Tedo são a não perder. Uma Quinta onde o vinho do Porto e os vinhos DOC Douro são uma produção própria. Tem também produção de Azeite. É uma visita com guias que te envolvem na magia da região do Douro e no seu fantástico patrimônio. Para além da visita pode-se ainda dormir no B&B ou então comer umas tapas no bistrô com uma vista para o Rio Tedo e suas vinhas maravilhosas. Definitivamente a não perder.

Disappointing. We arrived at early noon and bought the special wine tasting (15€ for 6 tastings) . The service was slow and it took a long time for the wine to be served. There was no food along side the wines, not even some bread, only after begging we got some crackers.
Nice view though, better try different winery next time, there are many other along the river.

I liked this small winery very much. We had an excellent guide in German language, she was very lovely, and informative. If you like red porto wines, they have very nice ones. Also since we like regular wines more, they opened a couple of bottles for us. I highly recommend this winery tour.

We visit the Douro for the harvest every year and we always stop by Quinta do Tedo. It's like coming home, and it's a tradition we plan on keeping. This small vineyard produces incredible wine, has such a humble and welcoming atmosphere, and excellent staff. Everything feels authentic, the staff are knowledgeable, the food in their Bistro Terrace is amazing, and the views just can't be beat. Highly recommend the nature trail and of course a tasting and tour. The story behind the vineyard and it's restoration, as well as it's organic status are all a testament to it's caring owners. Quinta do Tedo is everything that is good about the Douro and it's heritage!

J'ai adoré cette quinta, sortie des sentiers battus (3ème viste). Accueil très sympathique. Visite du chais très intéressante, et pour finir (ou pour commencer!!)un excellent repas découverte arroséde très bons vins

We made a reservation and they told us they didn't have time for us as there was a massive group arriving. They later changed their minds and they eventually served us their port tasting without; however, any discussion of the various ports. Therefore, we were left on our own. They do get one extra star because they didn't try to sell us anything and because I left my purse there and they safely put it away until I returned.

Just did the tasting. Host was very un-engaged with audience. Very little information given. Poor acoustics in room.
To be fair to the host there were a few family groups that had children with them,one of which was quite noisy.
But the total experience was meh.

Cantina carina che offre una buona scelta di vini porto. La degustazione standard ne prevede 3 (1 rosé, 1 tawny, 1 LBV). Comparato ad altre cantine che ho visitato, però, non mi sento di dare più di 3 stelle.

Nous avons visité en basse saison, les guides nous ont fait la visite personnalisée rien que pour nous. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Nous avons aussi dégusté les spécialités de la maison: Porto, huile d'olive et vin. Rien à voir avec les visites dans la ville de Porto. Produits très bon rapport qualité-prix. Vous pouvez également y passer la nuit, profiter de la piscine et même louer des kayaks.

Family vineyard with superb scenery and excellent wine tasting. Vera was a fantastic guide who provided us with a pleasant visit, where we learned about the history and production of Porto wine. Definitely to go back and recommend.

What a great place! We ate something on their terrace with an awesome view. WE did the portwine tasting Tour as well and enjoy every minute. Thanks to the lovely Guide.

Aconselho vivamente uma visita ao local. Um staff fantástico muito simpáticos, sempre dispostos a atender as dúvidas dos visitantes. Bom vinho, bom azeite, tem um agroturismo que recomendo vivamente a pernoitar.

Quinta do Têdo is a wine estate with lots of charm. With its portuguese roots and french/american influence, it is a great sample of what the Douro has best.
It also has an accomodation BnB.

Prachtige quinta met wijnen die nauwelijks buiten de eigen boerderij verkocht worden. Leuke rondleiding met zeer enthousiaste uitleg. Leuke proeverij na afloop met heerlijke portwijnen.

What a great place! Beautiful view, delicious wines and cheese platters. The service was really friendly, allowing us to enjoy the terrace outside opening hours. Recommended!

We were looking for quintas in the area and we had no success finding an open one during late October but we were told about this quinta and it was open! And it is a very beautiful Quinta with very friendly people who gave us an interesting tour around the production place to finish with a wine and Porto test (three of each). We even bought a LBV and a Rosè Porto!
