Lugar incrivelmente bonito e charmoso. Com comidas típicas portuguesas muito boas, e bem servidas. Ótimo atendimento. Os vinhos que provei estavam razoáveis. Fiquei com vontade de me hospedar na região para poder aproveitar um pouco mais de todo o charme da vila.

A quinta da Avessada fica situada em plena região demarcada do Douro, no planalto de Favaios.Tem um velho armazém devidamente transformado em um espaço de restauração e uma enoteca onde estão retratados os usos e costumes e a história desta região.É possível vivenciar as diversas etapas da produção do vinho assim como uma degustação.

We went here as part of a wine tour. What can I say!? It was such a great experience, by far the best of the day! Beautiful place. Charismatic host, the wine & cheese was a plenty. We ate figs from the garden, tried grapes from the vines. We got to crush grapes with our feet & tried various wines & of course the Moscatel.....just superb!!

Então, tomar vinho, ir em Porto, e não conhecer o vale Douro, nem pensar, fomos com uma empresa esse passeio, de ônibus com outras pessoas, fica mais barato. Com direito a almoço lanche, e.... Degustação. Aproveitei.

Merece mesmo as 5 estrelas, adorei o ambiente animado com 2 músicos muito animados na recepção e no decorrer da refeição, proprietário muito atencioso e simpático, por sinal muito parecido com o Sr. Rowan Atkinson , refeições muito bem confeccionadas, quantidade e qualidade. Excelente detalhe da informação prestada antes de cada prato, colaboradores sempre atentos e cuidadosos.
Espaço muito bem integrado na paisagem local e decoração muito agradável. Adega com uma visita acompanhada de uma explicação detalhada e gostei do detalhe da pisa da uva!
Recomendo vivamente e concerteza voltarei!!

Em primeiro lugar, não posso deixar de enaltecer a simpatia e acessibilidade do proprietário e funcionários! Local bem agradável e acolhedor, com uma vista incrível. Bom restaurante. A visita guiada é interativa e a abordagem é ótima, revelando costumes e tradições. O cheiro a favaios já faz prever o doce sabor.

Prachtig gelegen wijngebied met proeverij enotheek waar je ongelooflijk gastvrij wordt verwelkomd. We hebben er van een smakelijke, landelijke maaltijd genoten én geproefd van hun likeur en wijnen.

A nice place to visit and see how moscatel is made in Portugal. The entire quinta is well prepared to have even larger group of visitors, the views are beautiful, and the owner- a Mr. Bean alter ego, is very funny and welcoming.

Lovely surroundings and very good overall visit to see the entire process from production to the ageing process of both Moscatel and Port wine. Possibility of hiring space for group lunches and dinners. Well worth the visit.

So much fun! Great wine and food. The tour by Luis, one of the family owners, is not to be missed. One of the highlights of our Portugal trip!

We were a couple travelling on our own, and since it was a weekend it was the only quintas open in the area...we were a bit shocked by the buses parking in front of the place, and big noisy groups around...but the staff spotted us immediately, we waited a bit and received our own guide. The tour and tasting was quite fast (30 minutes) but we got some new understanding of the region and the guide was very friendly. Unfortunately we were not allowed to eat in the restaurant then, as it was booked for the groups, but they recommended us a great place in the nearby town (Sweetland in Favaios).

No wine experience, outdated, waiters trying to be funny, terrible food, silly stories, a total waste of time if you have half a brain. Do not go here. Half a star would be too much.

Spend a couple of hours sampling musketel, grazing on cheese and home made sausages, sitting and relaxing outside, feet from the plush vineyards. Stroll the grounds, enjoy the magnificient natural scenery. Can't beat this authentic experience! Nice staff. Enjoy it!

Nous y sommes allés pour une dégustation puis sommes restés pour un repas traditionnel. La générosité des hôtes était vraiment remarquable, la quantité de nourriture servie, des plats traditionnels portugais, était gargantuesque et le moscatel un produit vraiment intéressant. Si vous restez pour le repas, vous serez plutôt au souper chez votre grand-mère portugaise que dans un restaurant étoilé, mais le tout reste dans un excellent rapport qualité (et surtout quantité)/prix
