We hit the jackpot when we stopped into this winery and asked if they offered tours. The owner generously offered to take our family (kids ages 9-14) on a brief tour to teach them about the wine making process. The lady who gave us the tour was so patient with our questions. We were delighted to get to taste a 50+ year old port wine. I'd love to come back and stomp grapes here. This is a top notice place with delicious wine and lovely owners and staff. Thank you so much!

Love the table wine. The cellar is soo cold but the person - I forgot his name - who toured us is soooo fun.

Amazing port wine and table wine. Most authentic small producer we have seen. Cindy was the best guide and she tells the story superbly.

Proprietário Sr. Miguel super simpático.

Thank you, João and Cindy, for a special experience. We learned so much today about your wineries, the region, and wine. We've visited a few winemakers, but this experience stands out. I highly recommend this place to everyone

We had an awesome time there, and both the table wines and the port were amazing. Thank you Luis for the tour and the explanation of the process !

Such an incredible place! We ended up going back! Joaof and his father are amazing people. Joaof has the best personality and is so knowledgeable about wine. The thing we loved most is how down to earth the vineyard is. It was a very low key place, but also had some of the best wines we have ever tasted. We would highly recommend if you are looking for a real and authentic place to visit to enjoy great wine. If you are lucky you will get to visit (maybe even drink!!) from their family's their private port cellar!

Visited Quinta do Beijo (the Kissing Winery!) on a Douro Valley tour with Oporto Tour agency, and absolutely loved it. Our host was fantastic and served us plenty of port and wine even at 1030am, the info was educational but not boring, and the views of the valley are beautiful. Loved that it had a family-run, smaller feel to it.

Such a warm atmosphere. You can definitely see the passion of the owner and the rest of the employees. Already looking forward to coming back!

Great stop with tasty wines and very knowledgeable host in Eric who is American from California who married a Portuguese woman. This is a great little boutique winery that was a very fun stop!

We had a wonderful, informative tour with Eric. Very tasty wines and ports. Loved that he didn't skimp on the 10year port and treated us to the 50+ port that's not even available for purchase. Totally recommend the tour and tastings.

We arrived unannounced, but were rapidly whisked onto a tour which had just begun by fourth-generation Director and force of nature, Joao - and had a great tasting, including some a very special inclusion of a vintage not available for sale. A really excellent way to have finished our trip to the Douro.

I had the pleasure of going to Quinta do Beijo on a Douro Valley Wine tour. The wine itself was excellent and the winery was located in such a beautiful location. Our guide and winemaker, Joao Miguel, really made the tour special. He was very personable, funny, upbeat, and engaging. I also loved that it was a family owned business and that he was continuing the family tradition! I would highly recommend to stop at Quinta do Beijo on your wine/port tour of the Douro Valley. And they ship internationally (BONUS!)

We went on a wine tour here on our trip to Douro Valley. Its a small unique family operated winery. The tour was informative and very entertaining! Our guide Joao was amazing. The group was small and intimate as compared to other large groups at big winery. Great wines and variety, and at great price.

There are no words for the level of hospitality we received from Joao and Miguel. An impromptu visit due to a bad feeling at the wine tasting next door led to a lifelong memory and an outstanding friendship. My girlfriend is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and has worked in restaurants for 10+ years so we are used to being spoiled with amazing food and beverage- but NOTHING compares to the table and port wines we tasted with Quinta do Beijo. Nothing. Joao led our tasting for 5 and we were blown away by his intelligence, his depth of knowledge about his family's operation, his humor, his personhood. This is an outstanding winery run by a truly incredible family and we cannot thank them enough for providing us with such a remarkable experience. The 5 of us will never forget our time at QDB as one of our most treasured travel memories ever. Thank you so much, you guys!!!
