Restaurante acolhedor, o bacalhau espiritual estava ótimo e o serviço atencioso.

Restaurante pequeno porém aconchegante, com serviços atencioso e eficiente. Comemos o bacalhau com natas, rojões de porco, salada, arroz branco, batatas coradas, vinho. Estava tudo muito gostoso e em porções generosas. Recomendo aos viajantes como opção de comida simples tradicional portuguesa.

Everything we ordered was really good, the quality of the food was great, only slight downside was the service was a touch slow.

I really wanted to love this place however it fell short on a few things. One is service, the waitress was really not happy to see or seem to want us there, we would have gone elsewhere however being 3pm it was difficult finding a restaurant in the first place. I wanted to order the octopus however they did not have and really did not have 70% of the menu so I settled for an omelette was ok. Why not just make a smaller menu and focus on the dishes you can really exceed and make everyday easily and pleasing. I hope the owner reads this and takes notice. The food was plain had to add some seasoning to get the flavor out.

The restaurant is very well situated, the food sucks and it is expensive for the quality they offer, the potates seemed to be microwaved, the vegetables seem to come from another dish, I went there around 3pm the weitress was annoyed because of the timming we arrived they where not interested in making money, avoid them as much as you can, also nothing in the menu was available.

The Taberna Do Rio is well situated, but you will have to wait enourmous amount of time. The food is worse than average and waiters are extremely slow. I would suggest not to go there...

Absolutely amazing food and hospitality. We stopped here for lunch after a boat trip down the Douro as part of an Airbnb trip with Tiago (James). Food, wine and porto selection was impressive and the standard un matched. Loved it.. will be back for sure

Nach einer Bootsfahrt auf dem Douro sind wir hier zufällig gelandet. Sehr freundlicher Service und tolle landestypische Küche.

Um atendimento, atenção,e qualidade do que foi servido na minúscula esplanada,proporcional ao w.c que utilizei para lavar as mãos , ao chegar.. muito mais(elevado ao cubo).. surreal

Lugar acolhedor, grande escolha de vinhos, e comida muito boa. Numa visita ao Pinhão recomendo a almoçar neste restaurante.

Waited outside (as dogs are banned inside (it's about 35 degrees...)), For a good few minutes. Occasionally standing by the door. Was just ignored. Eventually I left. I see in some of the other reviews they say service was slow. I concur....
