Aaron Anderson: Portimão's version of muscle beach. Nearly every time I walk by there are plenty of men working out with their shirts off. Whether you want to work out, or you'd rather just be a spectator, this is a great addition to Praia da Rocha. Come in the morning and you can use the facilities without an audience.

HeatherS: I have been attending Pilates here for several weeks whilst living in Portugal. The teacher is excellent. She takes time to ensure everyone, no matter their age, or ability, makes the best of themselves and the time with her. The classes have improved my posture and have helped remove some age related pain in my shoulders. I can’t praise the class nor indeed it’s participants highly enough I have felt very welcome from the get go. There are very few classes in the UK where that would have been the case where a foreigner joined a class, was made so welcome and the teacher was able to communicate so readily in a foreign language. I have loved my classes and will miss them hugely.

Consegui encontrar o fogão de balcão que eu queria, e era até um dólar mais barato do que na loja anterior onde fui. Ei, um dólar é um dólar jajaja O atendimento ao cliente foi excelente no departamento de electrodomésticos. Mesmo com várias pessoas esperando, eu não me senti apressado durante a compra. Ele também foi capaz de responder a todas as minhas perguntas.

Adoro como a loja é organizada e limpa - muito fácil de navegar e ver tudo sem se sentir lotado. Encontros muito ecléticos; muitos objectos art deco, modernos de meados do século, industriais e de alta tecnologia. O proprietário também faz reparações e restauros de iluminação. Definitivamente o primeiro lugar para onde deve ir se precisar de luzes vintage ou antiquadas!

Eu não costumo fazer compras em grandes lojas de caixas. No entanto, eu comprei piso de madeira dura no Home Depot. Quando finalmente terminei o projeto, 6 meses depois, tinha uma caixa cheia de piso sobrando. Eles permitiram que eu o devolvesse mesmo sem o meu recibo de venda porque eu usei um cartão de crédito com o qual eles podiam confirmar a compra.
