Minimalist style, clean and comfortable. The bar and pool we could use next door was a nice surprise as was the welcome drink. Good restaurants and beach easy walking distance. The breakfast was more than adequate. The Sagres Fortress is close by and very interesting. Great views all around the area.

Service, Ausstattung und Lage des Hotels sind super.Leider lag unser Zimmer oberhalb des Restaurants und würde bis zum Betriebsende vom Essengeruch umhüllt, Lüften war somit nicht möglich. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend hat uns dennoch enttäuscht weil es im Keller serviert wird. Obwohl es im EG ein schönes Kaffee gibt, eine Kombination von beidem wäre genial.

They cancelled my booking without reason and without call me even I gave them my credit card twice. After booking was cancelled I tried immediately to rebook but room was not available. This is very suspicious, they did this on purpose to sell the room with another client maybe without kids ? Very bad. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL.

Probably the best option in the area for a short, no frills stay. Clean, all in good condition, comfortable, nice design, very good coffee, great location. All in all very good value for money.

Sitio espectacularmente bien situado frente a la playa la Mareta. Habitación espaciosa, limpia, baño impecable, cama y almohadas cómoda. Desayuno buffet con café Nespresso y variedad de cosas (fruta, panes, dulces, cereales, yogur, zumo de bote) sin ser una maravilla merece la pena pagarlo. Ambiente tranquilo, personal amabilísimo. Para repetir.

Bien. Habitaciines limpias. Zona cerquita de una playa. Buen aparcamiento aunque no pertenece al hotel. Desayuno tipo buffet libre con lo normal para desayunar sin excesos.

Trata-se de um Bed & Breakfast, portanto não pode-se esperar luxos, mas devo apontar que o isolamento acústico deixa a desejar, café da manhã é simples mas ok. Dento da proposta B&B o preço praticado a época, o hotel atende bem o seu proposito
Espero que esse breve relato tenha contribuído na sua escolha de seu próximo hotel :)

Great location in the “heart” of town including a short walk to a few beaches, a private pool, historical sites, and restaurants. The walls are thin but, luckily, everyone went to bed early at the hotel. However, there was a nightly party that went on in town that was definitely audible if you face the street.

Son los mismos dueños del Mareta View, mismo personal y comparten instalaciones. El trato del personal es lamentable y mal educado. Debido a un problema con una fuga de agua del mini bar se estropearon unos zapatos nuevos que llevaba, además de mojar mucha ropa y algún calzado más. La Directora del hotel además de ser una mal educada y mandarme un email con tonos irónicos, pone en duda nuestra palabra y no quieren hacerse cargo de los daños causados. Muy decepcionada. Otra cosa negativa es que no tienen ascensor, las habitaciones son pequeñas y el personal hace mucho ruido por la mañana temprano.

To the owners of this establishment,
I am writing to let you know of our recent experience in your boutique hotel.
We stayed for two nights of our four night reservation. Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed by our stay and choose to leave after two nights. Your staff informed us we would continue to be charged for all four nights.
Your hotel is a false advertisement. You do not offer the four star accommodations that the websites claim. The beds are hard, the building is noisy, the walls are thin and the staff is not friendly or hospitable. Overall, the establishment is uncomfortable and offers motel like accommodations.
I would like to be reimbursed for the 2 nights of our reservation that we did not use as your establishment is guilty of false advertising.

1.- Las vistas no son lo que piensas que te ofrecen cuando dicen terraza con vistas al mar: el mar se ve a lo lejos, pero antes tienes un tejado, una carretera y un parking. Debajo hay una pizzería por lo que no te libras de olores que no invitan, precisamente, a salir a la terraza.
2.- El wifi brilla por su ausencia, no lo intentes ni reclames, no va!!!
3.- los ruidos de las señoras que limpian son molestos a primera hora de la mañana.
4.- la recepción deja mucho que desear después de conocer otras con mucha más profesionalidad... agradables pero grises, no te aportan nada más que el darte una llave.
5.- La cama es grande y cómoda.
6.- la ducha floja, es bañera... y los amenities escasos, nos ponían un gel para dos personas.
Sinceramente si vuelvo a Sagres, no repetiría este hotel.

Room with minimum furniture: bed (queen) , bench, one chair and a mini table. Not much space to put all your stuff . Decor to the minimum. Floating floor. Room is not an invite to stay longer. At least our room was not (#105).

It's a tourist style hotel, with bright decorations. Slightly basic, but with good breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and bread. Beds are firm (not too bad, no need to use blanket as topper), and the rooms are located at a slightly noisy road (it's a small village, so not busy at night).
Nice small pool in the hotel next doors.

Positiv: Hotel mit hellen, modernisierten Zimmern und Bädern. Restaurant und Lobby stylisch eingerichtet. Lage direkt am Strand und in Nähe zahlreicher Restaurants.Negativ: Für 140 Euro pro Nacht war die Ausstattung sehr enttäuschend. Jedes Motel one kann mithalten. Keine Papierkörbe im Wohnraum, Fön defekt, keine Kosmetiktücher, keine Seife an der Dusche - hatte man es vergessen, vom Waschbecken mitzunehmen, musste man noch einmal aus der Wanne steigen. Keine Handtuchhalter oder andere Möglichkeiten, Handtücher/Wäsche zu trocknen.Frühstück: viel Auswahl an Obst, keine Eier. Wenn man nicht bis spätestens 8:30 Uhr da ist, hat man weder eine Chanche auf abgeräumten Platz noch auf Auswahl am Buffet. Personal ist zwar da, lässt sich jedoch erst nach 30 min Schlacht am Buffet sehen.

Hicimos dos noches y ni hicieron camas ni limpiaron baño.... Pero las habitaciones son grandes, luminosas y el entorno ideal, con piscina privada y jardines muy bien montados.

Muy caro para lo que ofrece teniendo en cuenta que se paga a más de 150€ la noche en agosto.Hotel pequeño con muy buena ubicación. Habitación sencilla, muy luminosa y limpia. Muy pobres los amenities del baño para lo que se paga (gel y champú únicamente y escasos). El desayuno buffet que está incluido en el precio es correcto. Se sirve en la planta -1 del hotel en un espacio sin ventanas(se echa de menos que el zumo sea natural).Dispone de una piscina con vistas al mar muy agradable. Se aparca muy bien en la zona.

Location is perfectly located from everything in town. Rooms are clean and good spaces. Breakfast is on the basement and basic — we skipped it most days as it was nothing impressive — and we wanted a real espresso (not plastic pod machine). Pool area nice with a cute pool bar. TIP: The rooms with the sea view is key to happiness — otherwise this hotel is basic and all about location. Espresso from the attached Italian restaurant is the best way to start your morning.

Tres belle chambre avec terrasse vue mer dans le Mareta beach House...
Nous aurions apprécié un service hotelier et une communication meilleure (la reception est ds le mareta beach boutique) Le dynamisme du bar de la piscine est à ameliorer : il devrait etre ouvert plus tôt le matin pour pouvoir y savourer cafes jus de fruits frais et smoothies et proposer des salades pour le dejeuner.. ), la salle du petit dejeuner située en sous sol du Mareta beach boutique n est pas propice a un reveil vacancier face a la mer : la piece est sans fenêtre !!!! Et il est impossible de monter son plateau ds la chambre pour profiter de la terrasse ...

Das Hotel ist im Grunde sehr schön gelegen. Es sind ca. 300m zum Strand. Im Hotel sind zudem ein Cafe und ein italienisches Restaurant untergebracht, die beide sehr zu empfehlen sind. Weitere Restaurant liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel. Das Frühstück gibt es im Keller, was sicher nicht die schönste Lösung ist. Das Frühstück an sich ist aber gut.

We were expecting a much smaller hotel being as it is called a Boutique B & B. We would describe it as a regular hotel .However the staff were lovely , the pool area was lovely . Our biggest disappointment was the noise levels from 6 am onwards , constant slamming of doors , heavy movement going on below which echoed through the all concrete building . We went for a week of relaxation but were sadly woken every morning very early . Overall it is a lovely hotel and we would stay again but would take some ear defenders !

Overall the hotel was clean and simple. Few amenities. The cafe closed earlier than expected the nights we were there which was unfortunate since there’s no other quick shop to buy water. Front desk person who checked us in was rude, didn’t say more than two words, forgot to give us a tv remote, and then hung out in the cafe all evening. Either just rude or wearing too many hats. Breakfast was just ok, you get what you pay for.

Overall experience was positive. Check in was a little disappointing as gentleman at the desk was not overly friendly. He started to take our information and then received a phone call. We were ignored for quite some time with no ‘just a minute’ or anything until another very nice young lady came by and checked us in. The room was clean and comfortable but I was not able to log in to the wifi from the room, just the lobby. I asked another gentleman at the desk about it later in the evening and he came right up and reset the server. He was very nice but it did not make a difference.

Solid place for breakfast, with a nice and closed space. This is a plus in Sagres, as you will either have to be in esplanades or the inside spaces are small! The food itself was nice but I would be even happier with a vegan option.

Zimmer ok aber der Preis ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Alles etwas alt und abgenutzt. Frühstück gibt's im Keller und Kaffee schmeckt wie in der Uni aus dem Automaten. Für den halben Preis ok aber so ist das schon fragwürdig wie die guten Bewertungen zu Stande kommen.

We loved, loved, loved this hotel. The location, the views, the beach, the room, the breakfast were all amazing. Best location in town with tremendous views. Coffee shop on first floor. Breakfast was so delicious. Short walk tot he beach. Plenty of good restaurants within 1000 yards. Really great spot.

So close to the Fort at Cape Sagres which is stunningly beautiful. They had fruit, bread, cereals with alternative soy and almond milk which was perfect for us as vegans!

After a simple registration we found our room to be scrupulously clean and comfortable. Lovely balcony looking out onto the square with a sun lounger. The breakfast room was large and airy with a huge variety of foodstuffs for a great continental breakfast. The staff were so helpful and friendly

Existing reviews have it spot on. A well run, friendly place that makes you feel comfortable and at home. Great friendly, helpful staff support this overal simple objective. They also provide 10% off there own cafe and Italian restaurant that are part of building. Both excellent, especially the Italian restaurant. Highly recommended.

My husband and I thought the hotel was wonderful . However there are two Mareta beach hotels on the same block and I thought I had reserved a room with a view of the water . When I was shown our room the view was of construction and even if that building was completed it was not the same perspective . The other hotel had been used in their advertising . The receptionist explained that people sometimes found this confusing but didnt I see that even the rooms were different . It was not a problem but I felt a misrepresentation of the property. Our stay was wonderful , close to the fortress, easy beach access, nice Italian restaurant downstairs and a cafe .

Nice hotel. Comfortable room. Front desk staff warned us that wifi coverage in the rooms is spotty, but we had a good signal and performance. Conveniently located, but parking could be a problem in busier time of the year. We were lucky and found street parking near the hotel.

The hotel is near the beach and road but after 6 it is much quieter. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great - plenty to choose from and tasty.

No me he hospetado en este hotel pero sí he visitado su locacl abierto al público. Tiene un estilo starbucks, sillones muy cómodos, wi-fi gratis, enchufes para cargar tu movil/portatil, etc. El servicio es muy amable y tienen gran variedad de propuestas para comer a media mañana o a media tarde: cafés, chocolates, helado, gofres, muffis, etc. Muy apetecible refugiarse en este local del fuerte aire que frecuenta Sagres. Muy recomendable.

Mareta Beach était vraiment en plein centre nous sommes allés a la plage, au restaurant et a la forteresse à pied ! Lhôtel est très joli, très lumineux et très propre, très confortable. Il y a le wifi également. Nous y avons dormi une nuit , extrêmement agréable.

Das Frühstück war leider sehr eintönig und Abwechslung gab es leider keine. vermeidet die Kaffeemaschine! Leider sind Eierspeisen auch nicht möglich. Ansonsten war das Hotel echt schön, nur leider ist es insgesamt im Hotel sehr hellhörig. Und da es im EG einen Italiener gab, könnt ihr euch vorstellen, welche Geräuschkulisse herrschte. Aber um 2:00 wird es ruhiger...
