Der befindet sich in der Bucht von Beliche. Der Strand ist dem Westwind ausgesetzt, liegt also nicht ganz so geschützt. Wegen der hohen Wellen ist er perfekt zum Surfen!

Nice beach near town centre. Fortaleza (old fortress) is on the top of the cliff. Good for surfing. There is small bar – good place to have a beer.
One substantial drawback – big carpark at the end of the beach. Do not hope for privacy.

The water is immaculate. There are no chairs or umbrellas, just amazing views and an amazingly clean beach. Lots of restaurants nearby to quench your appetite and thirst. One of the best beaches we've come across in the Algarve.

Beautiful beach surrounded by multi coloured cliffs. They change colour as the sun sets. Great photo opportunity. No restaurant yet as taken away for winter. Should be back soon. Over 50 surfers in the waves. A must if you are in area.

Incredible beach near the South Western edge of Portugal. There's ample parking near the beach, and overflow parking near the fortress. Many campers and surfers frequent this spot. Be careful along the cliff edges, both while on top, and from below due to rock falls. The sun was just touching the tops of the cliffs this morning when we visited, made for a truly special view. Well worth the visit.

Local emblemático na área de Sagres, muito bom para fazer praia e para a prática de certos desportos náuticos (surf, bodyboard, skiming etc) requer algum prática e conhecimento do local, pois é uma praia com Rocha.

Ce n'est pas bondé. La vue est sypma. Les vagues est très bonnes à surfer. Il y a un buffet pour prendre un verre et certains choisissent de manger.

Praia muito bonita. Ondas nem muito grandes nem muito pequenas para quem se está a iniciar no surf ou body board. Levamos o nosso filho mais velho para a prática de body board e encontramos um mar ideal.
Durante a manhã chegaram várias escolas de surf com muitos alunos jovens.
A praia tem uma zona de areal completamente limpa de rocha o que a torna ideal para principiantes

Playa pequeña pero con bastante espacio para que no haya mucha aglomeración de gente. El agua se ve verde, preciosa, pero hay bastantes piedras en la orilla y rocas cerca, así que hay que tener cuidado si hay olas. Hay un bar para tomarte algo cuando más aprieta el sol. Muy recomendable.

La verdad que fui a esta playa por las recomendaciones y porque en varias webs ponía que se admitía la entrada de perros. Cuando aparqué vi que varias parejas se iban con sus mascotas, y pensé que ya había terminado su día playero, dado que eran las 6 de la tarde. La sorpresa fue cuando al llegar a la entrada un socorrista salió de la nada corriendo como loco para evitar que entrara.
Con esta reseña lo que quiero es evitar que vayáis con vuestra mascota directamente. No es agradable ir de un lado para otro con tu perrete porque no te dejan entrar con el.
La paya está bien, de hecho no está muy masificada, pero han decidido que es mejor no dejar entrar a las mascotas cuando hace años si estaba permitido.

Beautiful beach but quite a dangerous climb down with a hand rope in two points. Also strong undertow. This is a wild beach with no facilities or lifeguard. Quite a bit of trash from the tides and visitors not taking away their trash.

Der Weg zum Praia do Tonel ist zwar etwas steinig und steil, dafür hat man aber eine richtig schöne Aussicht auf das Meer und die Brandung. Von dort aus, kann man richtig schöne Bilder machen.

Esta playa me encanta es espectacular con todas las letras. Tiene una belleza inigualable. La arena es superfina y la playa esta súper limpia. Van mucha gente a surfear. La marea sube bastante hasta 4 de la tarde o así, sube bastante así ue no os confíes si llegas muy temprano y esta bajo porque todas las rocas que se ven quedan cubiertas por el agua. Me ha encantado.

Ładna plaża, rzucająca się w oczy przy okazji zwiedzania fortu w Sagres. Nie sposób jej nie odwiedzić. Jest bardzo ładna, ale i obfitująca w tłumy turystów. Każdy kto ma alergię na tłumy, powinien poszukać nieco spokojniejszego miejsca.

Semplicemente magica. Spiaggia lunga ma non molto larga se si va nel tardo pomeriggio a causa della marea. È adattissimo a surfisti ed è molto popolata da loro. È stupenda perché si vede veramente l'oceano, con poche rocce a far da protezione, tante onde e acqua gelata. Quando si avvicina il tramonto è bellissima.
Portatevi una felpa in caso di vento perché è abbastanza freddo come posto.
Presente un bar e un noleggio surf!

En mi opinion no es ni de cerca de las mejores playas de Sagres, tiene poca playa debido a la alta marea que presenta. Pese a ello, hace que sea un lugar que recomiendo visitar debido a lo impactante del acantilado que presenta su orografia. Muy bonita para estar un rato.

Une plage sublime, assez proche d une plage landaise très familiale.
Pour le surf c'est un peu quitte ou double en raison d un très très fort vent on shore froid et puissant.
Parfait pour débuter le surf en toute sérénité mais attention quand même au vent !

Ein wunderschöner Strand, zu dem es mich nun schon seit 20 Jahren immer wieder zieht. Glasklares Wasser, definitiv atlantische Verhältnisse und ein Bild, dass sich durch Felsabgänge im Winter jedes Jahr ändert.
Allerdings muss auch gesagt sein, dass es kaum bis keinerlei natürlichen Schatten an diesem Strand gibt. Oft ist es sehr windig, was es fast unmöglich macht, einen Schirm sinnvoll einzusetzen. Da der Wind vom Meer aus herein drückt, ist dieser Strand auch bei Surfern und Surfschulen hoch im Kurs. Deren Anzahl hat sich alleine in den letzten 10 Jahren mehr als verdoppelt. Bei vom Meer kommenden Wind lässt die Flut zudem nur einen ganz kleinen Streifen zum Verweilen übrig.
Daher: Ein wunderschöner Strand mit fantastischer Aussicht auf den Capo der Sao Vincente. Für Surfer genial, für das gemeine Badevolk reichen hier zwei Stunden völlig aus.

Nunca he visto una playa tan espectacular. Acceso complicado mejor bajar con zapatos/bambas. Merece la pena el esfuerzo, el acceso en coche tambien es ajetreado sin necesidad de 4x4 pero con cierta altura. La playa es muy tranquila 30 personas a pleno 8 de agosto!

Piękna, w zaciszu klifów. Mejsce dość wietrzne. Chłodniejsze niż plaże w okolicach Portimao. Różnica temperatury może dochodzić do 10 stopni Celsjusza. Dlugie zejście po stromych schodach.

Od strony parkingu, tuż przy wyjeździe, znajduje się ścieżka prowadząca do nieoficjalnego punktu widokowego na plażę i klify, warto się nią przejść bo widoki są przepiękne a w tym miejscu aż tak nie wieje wiatr więc można na chwilę usiąść i pokontemplowac.

Our favourite beach in the region. Clean, nice sea both for surfing and swimming, quite calm and not too crowded. There's parking available as well as a small bar with a clean toilet, good snacks and cold drinks. Simply beautiful.

O melhor sítio do mundo. Água limpa, ambiente calmo, no meio da natureza. Os portuguesa são mesmo o melhor povo do mundo além da hospitalidade ainda são os mais cordiais do mundo. Tem acesso fácil e estacionamento muito perto. Recomendo a todos a visita a costa vicentina especialmente a praia do Tonel um dos melhores spots tanto para descansar como para aproveitar a adrenalina de todos os desportos radicais que existem nesta pequena vila portuguesa.

Nice beach bar, plenty of parking nice sand. Avoid sitting too close to cliffs. Dangerous beach for swimming. Can be good for surfing and bodyboarding but much of the sand has washed away over the winter leaving more exposed rocks than normal.

Určitě jsou všechny pláže krasne ale tato je nádherná. V době kdy jsme tam byli tak byli sice velké vlny a i tak to stálo za to. Určitě tuto pláž navštivte. Myslím že zde je i malý stánek s občerstvením.

Eine sehr schöne Bucht. Hohe Wellen versetzten nicht nur Surfer und Wellenreiten in Ekstase. Wir haben die Bucht im Januar besucht und waren begeistert. Bei viel Glück sind sogar die Lufttemperaturen um diese Zeit sehr angenehm. Ob man den Blick von der Fortaleza de Sagres auf die Bucht hat oder direkt am Strand steht, die Bucht ist einfach wunderschön.

My favourite place when I'm in Sagres.
Wonderful sandy beach surrounded by mysteriously coloured cliffs.
This place is always full of beautiful surfers, riding on the huge waves, even on the days when there is no wind at all..
It's a really romantic place on the sunsets, when Sun jumps straight in to the middle of the ocean, and at the night time you can see the ocean of clearly visible stars and planets..
Definitely must visit place when you at this remote part of the world !!

Ein schöner Strand, der allerdings häufig sehr voll ist und dazu kommt, dass der Parkplatz und die Zufahrt dann überlastet sind. Zum Baden eher nicht geeignet, da zu viele Surfer im Wasser sind. Rund um Sagres gibt es schönere, ruhigere und entspanntere Strände.

Como la de Beliche o de Mareta es una preciosa playa encajonada entre ancatilados. Desgraciadamente esa belleza natural se desmorona y aquí y allá. Hay carteles anunciando riesgos de desplomes. No sé si las autoridades de Sagres son conscientes de lo que tienen entre manos porque este destino, tan de moda, tiene fallas lamentables de seguridad y limpieza.
Y la Playa del Tonel es un buen ejemplo de ello: basura acumulada a la entrada, un acceso apto solo para deportistas y vallas de seguridad totalmente rotas. No creo que cueste mucho arreglar esto.
