Tourist trap, I went for a pastel de nata and a water, the pastel was totally cold I asked if they could hit it up they put itt in a microwave making it a chewingum super hot for the price of 2.50 which is ridiculous, the pastel de belén cost 80 cents where is originally made and its the best of Portugal nothing like this.

Nice staff and good view on a sunny day but waited 1.5h for our food and it still didn’t arrive, we were told it’d be 5 mins but after 15 more mins we decided to cancel as it still wasn’t there and we had other plans. Turns out one of the staff hadn’t put through our order at all! Wouldn’t return.

Ce lieu offre une vue imprenable sur la magnifique plage de Sagres! L'accueil était très bon avec une rose jaune en cadeau pour la journée de la femme, petite attention qui fait plaisir!! La nourriture était bonne!!

Ce restaurant offre une terrasse avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la plage et la mer. Vous y ajoutez un accueil et un service irréprochables ainsi qu' une excellente cuisine et vous êtes assuré de passer un bon moment.
Le personnel parle français. Les prix sont un peu élevés pour le Portugal... mais reste raisonnable pour les français.. une bonne adresse!

A éviter,d'abord on nous a sauté dessus, la commande a été prise sans attention au choix demandé, tres cher pour le menu servi , cuisine quelconque sans saveurs,quatre personnes nous on servi sans ordre des prise de commande avec 3 langages avant de comprendre que nous étions français, avons ete pressé de manger pour débarrasser le restau qui était à 3/4 vide
À aussi nous avons demandé un plat de la carte ,la morue, spécialité! , eh bien on nous quelle n'est pas fraîche ..........

Paisaje espectacular... Y nada más
Mala opción para comer. Muy caro y tardan mucho en servir. Pedimos una dorada y pusieron róbalo (18 €). Tanto éste como un lenguado (25 €), supuestamente al grill, pero hecho y servido con aceite, excesivo y pasado. Pedimos uno percebes, a precio razonable (12'5 € los 250 g), pero muy pequeños, de calidad mediocre. Pedí una copa de vino y se olvidaron. Este restaurante solo es recomendable para hacer un par de fotos desde la terraza. Después, váyanse a comer a cualquier otro lugar. De lo peor del Algarve.

Cracking location overlooking the beach. We had sea bass and it was fantastic! Not the cheapest place but you have to remember you're paying for the view too! It has an indoor area as well as two balconies where you can sit out and enjoy the sea air.

Schlechtestes Essen an der Algarve in den letzten drei Jahren. Pommes dunkel braun und verbraten. Fischsuppe völlig ohne Geschmack und mit eingeweichtem Weißbrot. Sollte wohl Croutons darstellen. Und Preise völlig überzogen. Frischer O- saft 0,2 L für 5 Euro. Geht gar nicht. Personal von Freundlichkeit weit entfernt.

I went here with my family for lunch. We got a sour face welcome. Once the waiter discovered we only wanted a lunch meal and not an €85 lobster he lost interest. The sagres large beer was in a small glass. The ice cream avaible was on a stick. A restaurant of this standard should be able to provide scoped ice cream at the very least (basic stuff guys). My friends burger was served very raw. I would have sent it back but my friend didnt want to make a fuss. I will admit my meal was tasty and the actual 3 course meals did look quite good but it was spoiled by the service.When it came to paying the waiter hovered around like a vulture. As a result i refused to leave any tip. I can see why this restaurant was empty while everywhere else was packed. Maybe if your waiters we taught some basic etiquette people might be enticed to return

Parking sur place. Superbe vue sur la mer. La déco du restaurant un peu vieillot et simple. On était servi par une serveuse sympa et le service était bon. La nourriture juste ok rien de spéciale pour un prix plutôt chère. On a payé 10 euro pour deux petits bouteilles de jus de pommes. Même en Suisse il n'est autant chère.
Dommage car je pense que cet endroit à un grand potentiel.

Excellent restaurant with a good selection of traditional Portuguese meals. The fish dishes are all cooked with fresh fish; I can recommend both the Sardines and Sea Bass.
All the menu items have good suggestions for wines to pair with them.
Be prepared for a long meal though - they're in no hurry to get you in and out the door (which is not a bad thing IMHO!)
The location is excellent being right on the beach and if it's not too hot, sitting on the balcony overlooking the bay is superb.

One star exclusively for the wonderful view. One of the most beautiful Algarve view.
We came at 14:15 to lunch. 5 people : 2 adults and 3 kids. Bad welcome, no smile, long long time to be served, bad service, they forgot a bottle of water and no one around to ask. Quality is not here compare to the price. Mistake on the order. Mistake on the bill. Awful experience. I can’t recommend. Awful !

One of the most odd restaurants I've been to. Walked into the restaurant and stood by the door waiting to be seated. There were 4 waiters standing at a till talking amongst themselves, none of them greeted us. Almost as if we were invisible. After 5 minutes I asked one of them if we could take a seat and was told to wait. Several minutes later we were shown to our table by a waitress who did not say a word. The food was okay, nothing great. Definitely would not recommend. Save your money, buy something from Intermarché and sit on the beach and enjoy the same view at a cheaper price.

Una desesperación, más de una hora y media de reloj esperando por un bacalao al horno y todavía no ha llegado.
Las vistas muy bonitas pero no te llenan la tripita.
Es enero y por ese motivo lo elegimos,pero veo que es un desastre , muchos camareros pero no se ve Comida. Pocas cocineras y lentas.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Horrendously rude waitresses who made us feel exceptionally unwelcome and uncomfortable. Food took ages, was overpriced & average at best. Gave feedback to waitress when we left (who was astonishingly the co-owner) but she just looked furious and didn't want to know. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Worst restaurant experience ever and only stayed as my young son was really hungry.

Kurz entschlossen sind wir mit unseren 2 Kindern dort eingekehrt. Nach einem netten Empfang hatten wir schnell Gerichte von der Tageskarte ausgewählt. Das Essen war sehr gut und hat uns allen geschmeckt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Nebenbei gab es noch freies WiFi so dass die Kinder auch zufrieden waren.

A espera é muito longa, especialmente porque fomos lá um domingo, e o restaurante estava muito cheio, mas a qualidade dos pratos compensa essa espera ! A cataplana de polvo é a melhor que ja comi, suculenta e tenra assim como o peixe (dourada) delicioso. O pessoal do atendimento estava meio enlouquecido com o excesso de encomenda, mas nem por isso a preparação dos pratos não perdeu a qualidade.

Nice view, food good but nothing special... service inexistent.The waitress (very rude by the way) asked just for food... no-one else asked for drinks. I had to go at the bar asking for drinks. At the end of the day, if you want something, stand up, go to the desk and ask for it. :)

Décevant ! Service horriblement long et frustrant, puisque des personnes arrivées après nous ont été servies avant nous ; à part un serveur, le personnel n'est ni aimable, ni conciliant ; nourriture acceptable mais chère payée pour le Portugal et pour le niveau de qualité. Le seul point positif est la vue (et encore, si vous avez la chance d'avoir une place en terrasse !). En résumé, à fuir !!!

Muita fama. Não gostei. Onde é que um restaurante na praia. Estamos a falar de um restaurante na praia. SaGRES. Não têm peixe assado? Empregados sem saber o que andam a fazer. Vale pela paisagem. Um prato de raia frita ( mole nem estaladiça estava). Uma dourada no forno ( viveiro) seca. Sobremesas misturadas com o peixe, na mesma vitrine ( morangos). Sem palavras e muito caro. Vale a paisagem é isso que sinto que paguei . 60 euros 2 pessoas. Sem sobremesas e eu bebi àgua. Nunca mais.

Wat een leuke locatie ! Als bekroning op Mn mooie trip langs de kust is dit een hele mooie afsluiting van de dag. Het voorgerecht is prima ! Even wacht op het hoofdgerecht maar is vers van de zee dus dat zal smullen worden.
Nou het hoofdgerecht was boven verwachting octopus uit de oven. In een woord samengevat ::: Heelrijk !!

Bueno para comer, la única pega es la carta, ya que la misma viene en portugués, alemán, francés, inglés y se olvida de la mayoría de los comensales que allí había, los Españoles. Deberian tener más cuidado y poner en la carta, el "Castellano".

Ristorante in posizione favorevolissima: affacciato su una bellissima spiaggia con vista sull'oceano. Nonostante fosse Ferragosto e fosse pieno l'attesa non è stata lunga. Il servizio è ottimo, i piatti molto curati e di grande qualità. Consigliato, anche se piuttosto caro.

Quelle déception !!! Il n'y a rien à garder. La cuisine est quelquonque, le personnel est à la limite du désagréable, les plats sont hors de prix, quasiment aucun choix (beaucoup de plats n'étaient pas disponibles car "Trop tard" à 20h30 au milieu du mois d'août), aucun sourire des serveurs, une heure au moins pour être servis (alors que le restaurant était quasiment vide), des assiettes peu fournies et froides, la serveuse s'est trompée dans l'addition en essayant de nous facturer des choses que nous n'avons pas consommé, le cadre est vieillot, les toilettes dégoûtants et j'en passe. Rien de plus qu'un attrape touristes. Nous avons payé hors de prix et nous sommes ressortis en ayant faim.

Geweldige locatie, prachtig uitzicht en fijne bediening. Het eten is echter niet best. De vegetarische gehaktballetjes zijn ronduit slecht (om van over te geven), de tong was verre van vers. De frieten smaakten naar karton.. Afrader.

Beautiful location right at the beach. Quality food so the pricing was obviously higher. Overall, a good restaurant but pretty strange that I wasn't allowed to order the starter I was looking for, instead they offered bread, olives, cheese and a tuna-mix. Therefore 4 stars.

Sehr touristisch, chaotisch und man hat eigentlich keine Lust auf Gäste... willkommen fühlt man sich hier nicht und auch die kleinen Speisen waren nicht sonderlich gut. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig, aber auch extrem teuer... nicht sonderlich empfehlenswert. Lediglich der Blick über die wunderschöne Bucht ist die 2 Sterne Wert.

Surfers don't go here.... you are not welcome... the owner kick me out of the parking lot because i had my surfboards on the roof top. He even threatened me to call the police!!! I stoped the car inside of "he's" parking lot to have a nice sunday lunch with my family, of course i didn't even dare to go in!!!

A minha pior experiência no Portugal
Servicio de atención pésimo:
más de una hora esperando para que cuando llegue la comida me digan que ya no me pueden servir mi plato. No les quedaba. Me lo habían podido decir antes! El picoteo que te ponen mientras tanto son una cesta dos porciones pequeñitas individuales de mantequilla con una de atún y otra de sardina (tamaño igual que las que te ponen por el desayuno en los hoteles) por 7,10 €.
Otras familias con niños hambrientos y desesperados empezaban a levantarse.

Vista espectacular para a praia, Boa comida. Simpatia e tranquilo. Restaurante com excelentes pratos de peixe e marisco, em plena Praia da Mareta com vista sobre o mar. De dois andares, tem uma esplanada e sala de refeições informal no piso térreo e uma sala mais requintada no andar de cima. Aí, os azuis são a cor dominante e nas paredes diversos azulejos da Fabrica Viúva de Lamego "enchem o olho .

The location is great food is ok (depends on the order) squid dish is nice however not everything is fresh. The chefs recommendation fish filet gratin in lemon sauce is made out of frozen fish... does not make sense.... so drink some alcohol and enjoy the view. Don’t go there for the food....

Inmejorable ubicación: Disfrutar mientras comes de la singular playa de Mareta. Excelente servicio, exquisita comida. Muy abundante. Producto fresquisimo. Y la profesionalidad a la hora de servir: pedimos un rodaballo para dos., presentan la pieza entera cocinada y allí mismo la emplatan para los comensales.

Touristenfalle! Wurden bei dem Preis über den Tisch gezogen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden uns ein paar frische Fische gezeigt. Anstatt der vereinbarten 15 Euro pro Person wurden uns in Summe 50 Euro für 2 Personen berechnet! Trotz Beschwerde bei der angeblichen Besitzerin mussten wir den nicht vereinbarten Preis bezahlen! Nie mehr wieder! Der Fisch war ok, die Beilagen ein schlechter Scherz! Wahrscheinlich das schlechteste Restaurant an der Algarve!

Le cadre est certes très beau, la cuisine est correcte mais sans plus. Vous avez largement le temps d'apprécier le paysage puisque vous avez plus d'une heure et demi d'attente avant d'être servi. De plus, une erreur dans la note peut s'y glisser ; ce qui fut notre cas. Je ne le recommande pas.

This restaurant has one big plus and that's the fantastic view from the terrace. We unfortunately didn't enjoy the rest too much. I asked for a glass of white wine: I got a sweet wine with a very light fizz which tasted of a cheap sekt: not to my liking. My grandma used to cook the veggies the way they serve it here: cooked too long so it loses all the crisp and flavour, finished off with a proper amount of ground pepper. Just the way grandpa liked it. Furthermore the deserts were presented on a plate at the table, so nothing could be left to your imagination before being served.
To continue about the dishes: The fish soup was very bland and needed a lot of salt and pepper to make something from it, resulting in the most boring fish soup I've ever tasted. The buffala mozzarella was just plain mozzarella, or the cook was tricked into thinking it was buffala mozzarella. Since the cook was not in form anyways, there was a decision made that mint looks almost like basil, so that could perfectly match the salade caprese. The red fish was grilled too long and wasn't too exciting either. Some positives: the tomatoes in the salade caprese were very tasty. The view is stunning. And the service very friendly. 2 stars for the effort!

A peine arrivé, un parking au 3/4 vide, le propriétaire - ou je suppose comme tel - s'est montré désagréable à la seconde où je sortais de la voiture, parce que les roues mordaient sur la place d'a côté. J'ai réclamé un peu de cordialité, sans retour, et ca s'est arrêté ainsi, mais au vu des autres commentaires je ne regrette rien.
