We had a really good time in alloro italiàno restaurant in the Baia da Luz complex , the food was excellent , the staff were so friendly they made you feel right at home , especially Tiago, a must for anyone holidaying in praia da Luz, very reasonable prices , within a lovely atmosphere ,I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a family night out

Great family meal on our last night in Luz. No one disappointed the staff were great and the food was better. My second best meal of the holiday!

Decent prices, Not the highest quality sea food spaghetti but nice enough I enjoyed it just a little over cooked in a LOT of nice sauce.... lovely thin, fresh garlic breed. Worth a try some other dishes coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

Good Pizza, great Lasagne, good mixture of daily specials combined with Portuguese fresh seafood. Open all year around. Staff is friendly and organised. Reservations recommended but not all the time necessary. Review is an average about last three years.

Amazing meal at Alloro this evening, the pasta was beautiful all homemade and homemade profiteroles for dessert were delicious!! Staff were very friendly, funny and very professional. 100% will visit here every time we are in Luz

Gran lugar. Una sorpresa el haberlo encontrado. En lo relacionado con la comida, perfecto, tanto por cantidad como por precio de cada plato. A la vez, en lo relativo al ambiente, tranquilo, agradable, con un servicio de camareros eficientes y atentos. Para repetir.

Comida de calidad a buen precio. Hay variedad y los platos que pudimos ver tenían buena pinta. Las pizzas son de masa fina y estaban bastante ricas. La calzone estaba bien rellena y la pasta estaba esquisita. Todos los platos eran bastante grandes. La oferta de postres también nos pareció buena: panna cotta, postre de amaretto y las fresas con nata nos dejaron satisfechos.
Los camareros fueron simpáticos y atentos. El tiempo de espera fue razonable (unos 20 min a hora punta).

Visited twice recently without a reservation. We had to wait a little while for a table so I would recommend booking as it was very busy. Food was very nice, the kids had pizza and loved it. Staff were very nice. Everything was very well priced. Would easily recommend it!

Wer es etwas edler mag ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Das Essen war gut, hätte aber besser abgeschmeckt sein können. Und wer einen sehr guten Appetit hat sollte sich auch eine Vorspeise gönnen. Fazit: Schönes Ambiente, gutes Essen und ein hervorragender Service.

Muy rico y muy buena atención
Deliciosos platos italianos y muy buen servicio. Atentos y amables. Comida de calidad a buen precio. El cordero y las pizzas, deliciosas, lo mismo que el rissoto con setas.
Todo estaba muy muy bueno. Calidad a buen precio.

We stayed in the pool area, so this rating is about the bistro part of the restaurant. The service is not really friendly and lacks man power as well as organization. The coffee was so terrible that I asked for a new one. The first time in my life. Although we were situated just next to restaurant the salad came on a plastic plate. All drinks came with plastic straws. The whole pool area was full with plastic waste of other guests who just had lunch. This is not the standard that I am expecting from a restaurant in this prize category in 2019.

Visited on the basis of previous reviews. We were not disappointed! Very classy restaurant with wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Food was excellent quality - we started with a shared bruschetta followed by a sea bream and a lamb shank, all of which was faultless. Dolce/sombremesas waiter was very entertaining but also taught us a lot about Portuguese wines. Most definitely on our list of go to restaurants when we come to Luz again.

Good enough for a feed. Nothing special. Companion had lamb shank- verdict- very good, while my carbonara was ok. Including half bot of house red and water bill came to €50.60.

We had dinner at this very nice, classy Italian restaurant with great ambience, especially after dark. The lasagna and salmon were good, 4 star calibre.
Friendly staff speak English and the menu has English too. Mostly Italian food, not a lot of fish options.
Off the beaten path but easily found by Google maps. A lot of locals were eating there and that is usually a good sign.

Excellent Italian flavour restaurant. Highly professional, friendly staff. Classy setup with trendy local and international customers. Very good food (we tried bruschettas, a 4 formaggi pizza and seafood linguine), served in large portions. A place we will be glad to visit again for dinner.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, kids friendly (Had some toys to keep the little ones entertained), the only thing it was bit too long wait for food. Once you're with kids you want to be in and out and let other guests enjoy their dinner.

Uma boa opção para uma refeição baseada na cozinha italiana. As massas são de ótima qualidade e os molhos um pouco mais adocicados do que o normal. Estranhamos o molho do linguine com coentro ao invés de manjericão. O serviço é muito atencioso e entre as várias opções de bebidas oferecem caipirinha com cachaça brasileira.

Pedimos unas pizzas para cenar y eran enormes. El trato fue inmejorable, muy educados todos y muy atentos con nosotros. Lastima que nos fuimos al día siguiente, sino hubiéramos vuelto sin duda. Las pizzas son totalmente caseras. Calidad precio, muy bien.

Lovely staff, great ambience, easy walk from the sea front. I had the bruschetta romana starter and the sea bass main, both of which were wonderful. The kids report that the pizzas were excellent too and my daughter finished her meal with a moist chocolate cake complemented by a nice chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Plenty of parking out front. Happy to recommend as a great place to eat.

Joli cadre, bon service, les entrées sont corrects, mais mal assaisonnés. Par contre les pizzas et la focaccia, sont plutôt mauvaises. Pizza sans sauce tomate, la pâte est bizarre. La foccacia est très dense et seiche.

Gutes italienisches Restaurant in Luz. Guter, sehr zuvorkommender Service. Auf Sonderwünsche (z.B. Garnelen ohne Schale) wurde gerne eingegangen. Hier gibt es neben Pizza auch verschiedene Pastagerichte, was bei vielen italienischen Restaurants in der Gegend nicht der Fall ist. Das Essen schmeckt gut, hat aber noch etwas Luft nach oben.

HIDDEN GEM! It is tucked away in a corner but well worth the walk! The staff is very knowledgable about their menu and wine list. The food was beyond anything I have ever experienced. Hands down the best charcuterie! Tiago was such a delight, but all the staff were amazing!

Muito bom restaurante! Mas, na entrada, trocaram os queijos, pedi uma bruschetta com queijo de cabra e colocaram queijo camembert ( que eu particularmente detesto). E isso sem avisar os clientes.

Die Leute geben sich Mühe, sind jedoch zu viele im Service. Essen ist gut aber als ich vom Menü (20.00 Euro für 3 Gänge) nur die Hauptspeise wollte haben sie 16 Euro verlangt. Nach Reklamation no 12.00 Euro plus zwei Getränke frei.

Restaurant hübsch eingerichtet, freundliches Personal, Getränke und Essen hat etwas gedauert, Qualität hat mich nicht überzeugt
WC im Keller über Lift erreichbar, dort waren alle Notausgänge mit Kartons vollgestapelt
Ich werde auf einen weiteren Besuch verzichten

This a really nice restaurant!
First of all the food is really good and is not expensive at all.
Second: The staff is fabulous. I rarely see such a good professional working and friendly team in the restaurant business.
They made us feel welcoming, did know everything on the menu and were just perfect.

Quel scandale! Calzone de la taille d'une main d'un adulte. Pizzas décongelé sur des plaques dans l'arrière cuisine pour la vendre 10€.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu moderaten Preisen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. In der Hauptsaison sollte man auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren.

Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend! Wir hatten keinen Tisch reserviert aber Glück da wir recht früh dran waren. Ich würde eine lange Hose empfehlen, sonst fühlt man sich doch etwas underdressed. Immer wieder herne!

Gehobenes Ambiente, gutes und leckeres Essen für günstige Preise. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten zwei mal die Lasagne und zwei Getränke und waren mit 26 EUR gut bedient.
Das Restaurant gehört zu einem Hotel und war an dem Abend als wir dort waren gut besucht. Wir fühlten uns jedoch ein wenig "underdressed", die meisten (Hotel-)Gäste waren im Hemd im Restaurant.

I've been there twice in 3 days and it has been absolutely great!
The crew is nice and friendly, the food is fantastic and the prices are very fair!! The Calzone could be a little bit bigger - compared to the pizzas but 5/5 at all!

All right it may not be perfect, but we were well treated, well fed and delighted with the experience. I had the Lasagna and would not fault it. This restaurant's only draw back is perhaps how unlike anyone not looking for it, will stumble upon it - unfortunate for them - I can't imagine it being long before it's an item on most's, must do list.
