Beware when using your card to pay at this restaurant, the waiter took my debit card away from the table and went behind the counter at the far end of the restaurant, he came back to the table less than a minute later with the card and machine. The day after my bank notified me of fraudulent activity on my account.

Thankful to find this place open after long transfer delay at Faro airport (yes, that’s you hoppa and escudo tours) meant we didn’t arrive at hotel till after 10pm. Good basic main meal, reasonable prices, service great (there were only 4 others in the restaurant at that time of night) so thanks for saving our Saturday night!

Service was good, but the quality of the food was poor. It seemed like the meals were only heated up in the microwave (and not made fresh). It took too long to get the food on the table. The price is also high in my opinion. We like Indian food a lot, but we will not visit this restaurant again.

The food was really good. Unfortunately, the service did not reach a respectable level. We asked to sit outside. It was windy and the waiter did warn us about the conditions. One hour later, the waiter refused to move us to a free table inside the restaurant when it became too cold outside (after sundown). "I did warn you, he said".
After the appetizers we assembled our uaed cutlery and plates to help the waiter. The waiter refused to hand out new cutlery fo the main course and put the used cutlery back on our table in a random order. We left the restaurant wondering how you can run a business like this. Perhaps the waiter had a really bad day?

Very good customer service. The food was so good that I went into the kitchen to thank them all. It sure did put a smile on all the staff faces. Prices are very good and you get plenty of food for your money. I went back a few night later as it was so tasty.

Op zich is het eten best goed en naar wens pittig of mild gekruid. De porties zijn relatief klein en niet echt goedkoop.
Jammer dat de bediening behoorlijk afstandelijk is. We hebben er goed gegeten, maar voelden ons niet echt welkom.

Delicious Indian food. I suggest the Goan fish curry! Service need improvement though. Waiter approaches too close to face of clients while communicating, also waiters should avoid staring at clients while eating.

Cold restaurant, cold plates, rapidly cold food. All smile, but toughest lamb and worst Indian we have ever eaten in. Have a sandwich instead. Not worth going to.

Had some Delicious Indian food as lunch. We ordered a Vegetable and meat samosa, chicken curry and chicken madras with vegetable and plane rice. Also we drunk some monte da vaqueira wine. Very nice with the food.

Food was nasty. Chicken was hard and flavourless. Only beer available is super bock. Chinese waiter is not attentive at all.

A small simple looking place but surprisingly good. The service was hospitable and welcoming and the dishes were delicious.

We had a four persons table here. The food was great for all of us. Waiting time 30 minutes, our waiter was very nice and he spoke in a good english with us. The prices was also ok.
You need to try this restaurant if you are in this area.
All of us had different type of lambs.

Was the only indian restaurant we visited so can't compare.menu was a good choice of the usual and was tasty.service was quick and friendly.4 meals with sides and drinks approx 65 euro so not bad.be warned as large cobra beer is actually 2 bottles so could save 3 Euros. Recommended.

We have been visiting this restaurant for about 3 years and the food has been consistently excellent. The chef here prepares some of the tastiest Indian dishes we have eaten anywhere in the world. I would like to have given this restaurant 5 but we have seen quite a lot of changes in the staff who serve you. While I can't fault their enthusiasm and attentive service I feel their training needs to be stepped up to make everything work slicker. Deserves to be busier and well worth a visit if you enjoy good Indian food.

We had some amazing Indian food there. We were really looking for good Indian and I think we were very lucky. The staff is quite nice, the prices are reasonable and the place is clean. I would repeat the experience, no doubt about it. We recommend it!

I had dinner in this restaurant in early March. The sole staff member seemed pleasant and tried to be helpful. I ordered a starter of Sammosa and my partner ordered onion baji. The food when it arrived seemed OK but when I tried to cut into the samosa it was very hard and dry then when it opened the whole filling fell out it was like sand and totally dry, the onion baji was hard and brown and had obviously been over cooked in an oven. So the starters were a disaster, then the main course was served it looked like six lumps of chicken over which a sauce from a bottle had been poured over. And to add the final insult the plates were totally cold so the sauce congealed. We paid the bill and left.
The worst Indian restaurant I have ever visited. I think the cook should be sent to Birmingham to train on the curry mile or if that is too expensive then to the Nat Raj in Vilamoura.

Wir waren neugierig und besuchten das Lokal. Schon Tage vorher fiel uns auf, dass Abends so gut wie keine Gäste zu sehen waren. Als indische Küche möchte ich die servierten Speisen (Huhn in Currysosse) nicht bezeichnen. Eher kommen hier angerührte Gewürzmischungen aus dem Asiashop zum Einsatz. Ein Besuch lohnt sich nicht wirklich.

The food here was as good an Indian meal I have had in ages, beautiful tender lamb. Sadly the restaurant was almost empty, this is October so I hope they are busier in high season.

WORST CASE OF FOOD POISONING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. 2 days later and I'm just about recovering from what was the most dreadful food poisoning ever. DO NOT EAT HERE.
If I could give it 0 stars I would but unfortunately I can't. This is definitely the worst service and food I have ever experienced. I rarely leave my food but I could only manage eating one spoonful before feeling sick. Tasted absolutely disgusting. It tasted like musy peas and potato. We arrived and waited an hour just to get a starter (frozen samosas) and dry bhajis. Whilst other people who arrived after us were served their mains?¿ What is that about? We got our food eventually an hour and half later, tasted rank, the bill was SO EXPENSIVE ASWELL. The most hilarious thing about this place was how they apparently serve pizzas, but when another table ordered one the waiter ran out of the restaurant and bought pizzas back from the italian restaurant down the road LOOOOL. ps, the manager has given reviews of the resteraunt on here hahahaha, absolute gash. Do yourself a favour and have some uncle bens rice and a jar of sharwoods jalfrezi, save about €100

Don't believe these other reviews, the food was simply awful, plain sauce with no veg or anything else in it apart from a few lumps of tough meat.
The 'plain' rice was bone dry (obviously cooked hours earlier) and came covered in star anise.
All in all possibly the worst curry dish ether myself or my partner have ever eaten.
AVOID !!!!

Just ate here 15 minutes ago for me and my wife's anniversary dinner and our last night here in Portugal and the food was beautiful. Lovely taste, great presentation and the kindest of people you can meet. You'll not meet kinder staff in any other restaurant. This is coming from a head chef himself. Well done guys. Impressive.

Looks nice from the outside... Good service but only one person serving everyone when we were there. Took awhile to get served and the main came when we were still eating the starter but the food was good! Also not enough mango chutney with the popadoms!!

mäßiges Restaurant, lange Wartezeit, unfähig unserem Kind einfach nur Huhn mit Reis zu machen (obwohl die Karte voll mit Huhn Gerichten ist), räumen keine leeren Gläser ab, sondern bringen nur volle neue (so dass wir nachher den Tisch voll hatten), etc... muss man nicht besuchen
