Sehr schöne große Anlage mit wirklich tollen Villa´s Wunderschönes kleines Dorf 5 Minuten fußweg von der Anlage.Probleme gibt es möglicherweise bei einer Vollauslastung mit dem doch eher kleinen und mit wenigen Liegen ausgestatteten Poolbereich.Es wird täglich die Bettwäsche gewechselt - leider wurde der Aschenbecher in 4 Nächten kein einziges Mal geleert.Alles in Allem eine tolle Anlage mit super Mitarbeitern!

Loved this place was really relaxing for my wife and I, beware the hill down to the village centre, did not deduct any stars for that because the resort has a little shuttle bus/car that will run you up and down.

We booked a villa without seaview. The house was huge and very modern. Checking was efficient and staff followed us to the house to show how everything works. Only thing to consider is the very steep climb back to the house after going down to the beach. Hotel offers free transport up and down though, but we did not try.

This is the best and nicest hotel I've ever stayed in my life. there's roof access, completely loaded kitchen, washing machine, multiple bedrooms, the nicest showers I have ever seen, the viewpoints you can see the ocean, it's just absolutely amazing. I suggest you visit it when it's shoulder season because it's a lot cheaper. The hotel is great to because they will shuttle you down and up that big hill. I wouldn't suggest walking that hill with luggage.

Sehr hübsche großzügige Anlage, mit tollem Service. Der wunderschöne Strand und ursprüngliche Stadtkern mit einigen sehr netten Restaurants sind sehr nah. Kurzer Fußweg bergauf ist kein Problem, es gibt zudem nen Shuttelservice!

Everything about this place is incredible, from the stunning views to the very friendly staff. We opted for a sea view and it did not disappoint! The photos of this resort do not do it any justice, it is quite simply stunning. Our house was clean and spacious with a modern feel, lots of outdoor areas to enjoy the weather. I would definitely recommend hiring a car if you want to explore beyond Salema, as you are quite far from anywhere. This resort is on a hill and there is a buggy available to go up and down the hill to the beach and restaurants in Salema, I would highly recommend it as the hill is very steep. You just call reception to request the buggy and you will be collected from wherever you are. There is wifi available but this is the only real negative as it did not work in all parts of the house, specifically in the bedrooms or bathrooms downstairs. I would like to point out that is a very small negative as wifi is not generally a reason you book a resort, but if you are going to offer it then it needs to work. I really cannot recommend this resort enough, you will not regret staying here, I would happily return.

Dies war wirklich der beste Urlaub meines Lebens. Die Villa war wie neu und ein traumhaftes Haus für 6 Personen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr sehr freundlich, es ist wunderbar ruhig und es war immer sehr sauber. Es gibt regelmäßige Shuttles zum Strand und bei Bedarf auch Sonderfahrten. Der Ort Salema ist wunderschön, der Strand perfekt. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder. Vielen Dank

If you want to have a worry free holiday then this is the place. On arrival we went to reception and found the staff amazingly friendly and really informative. We went to our villa #52 and walked into 5 star accommodation. This place has it all and at very high quality. If you want it then it is probably already in the villa. The rooms are a great size and the bathrooms are just big and yet again done to a high quality. The pool area is great too. It is very clean and the usual sun beds are available. If you order the food which is of a very high standard and tasty then it will probably be brought to your sunbed for you. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
The beach is great and clean but as many have said before if you struggle walking then you need to take a car and spaces are limited.
To finish. We never go to the same place twice when going on holiday but I would definitely make an exception for the place.

Fantastic resort resort in the quiet fishing village of Salema Beach. Clean and comfortable very spacious. Especially enjoyed the morning walks to the village by the beach to have a coffee and watch the fisherman bring In the catch of the day or just to do a little shopping for breakfast....

Beautiful villas, new and with all comforts, nice view of the bay. Difficult moving around walking due to the high slope. Anyway there is a buggy that brings you up and down. Only lack is a restaurant or a food or drink service during the evening.

Salema Beach Village is a resort in the fishing village of Salema in the Algarve. We stayed in a two bed villa that comfortably slept 5. The accommodation was finished to a high standard. It is self catering and comes with a fully equipped kitchen it is also fully air conditioned. It is a modern build has a small garden off the downstairs bedrooms with a terrace and small grass area both the kitchen and living area have adjoining balconies and there is a rooftop terrace. The resort also has a swimming pool with a snackbar that also provides room service. The pool is quite small but underused as the beach is only 500m away. The beach although only a short distance is down a very steep hill. The resort has a minibus to ferry people up and down until about 5pm after that the staff give you a phone number on arrival you can call the and someone will drop you to the village or bring you back. The whole resort was spotlessly clean and the staff are very professional and extremely courteous and helpful. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Salema Beach Village as a holiday destination and cannot wait until we return.

Great villas with everything you need for self catering. On site snack bar does reasonable food. Pool may seem a bit small but wasn't overly used, not when you have beach 5-10 minutes away. Depending on villa you wiĺl have more of a climb coming back from beach. Friendly staff, helpful when required otherwise left to yourself. Including short buggy ride to/from beach. Onsite security 24/7 in case you have any worries. Quiet location to get away from things but plenty to do if you want to get out. Consider a car for supermarket trips or visiting nearby places, buses and taxis available otherwise.

Wir hatten die Villa mit traumhaften Meerblick und absoluter Ruhe! Das Haus war sauber und sehr modern eingerichtet, es wurde täglich gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei, das Personal war freundlich. Zum Strand sind es ca 10 min Fußweg, allerdings eine sehr steile Straße herunter und auch wieder hoch. Der Pool ist etwas kahl, mehr Pflanzen wären toll. Alles in allem jedoch eine sehr schöne Anlage mit vielen Vorzügen. Gerne wieder!

We very much enjoyed this spacious apartment very close to the beach. The views were lovely especially from the rooftop deck. We enjoyed the freshest seafood at the local restaurants. Can’t wait to return.

Gostávamos bastante. Boa piscina, casa limpa e grande, bem localizada. Calmo. O Paddle é pago. Deveria ter alguma coisa para espantar os passarinhos que se borracham contra os vidros e redes, à volta dos campos parece um cemitério de passarinhos. De resto tudo bom.

Just perfect. An immaculate villa with an amazing ocean view. Well equipped kitchen, spacious ebdrooms with comfy beds, reliable wifi: all good things. Ran into some problems with the electronic lock to the front door, and Reception was quick to respond. Salema is far away from the touristy Albufeira/Faro area of The Algarve, and is the perfect getaway with access to a clean cliff-bound beach. You will need a car to get here though...and to get around.

Bien que está el complejo no entiendo como no tienen productos para el lavavajillas o un rollo de cocina son cosas pequeñas que hacen grandes a los sitios.
No es lo mismo contratar para un par de noches que para una semana o más, es por lo que son cosas que el propietario tiene que tener en cuenta para conseguir más estrellas.
Por lo demás todo muy bien y súper completo.
El alojamiento Ideal muy amplio y con mucho gusto e iluminado.
Sobre el cuarto de baño del dormitorio principal le falta luz en la zona del espejo.

Staff altamente competente e muito prestavel. Com aprox. 4 dias antes de final do ano e sem solução para a noite do fim do ano, a Sra. Sofia, sem ter obrigação para o tal, em menos de 24 horas arranjou-me não uma mas duas opções para escolher. Tenho certeza que qualquer elemento do STAFF faria o mesmo. Casa exelente, limpa, com tudo o que é preciso.

What an amazing place! We had such a great holiday we have booked for next year already.
We had a Villa through the Tots to travel company who kit out about a dozen of the Villas here. Everything we need was there. They made it so much easier to got abroad with a small child.
The staff and service in the complex itself is also fantastic, they can't do enough for you.
It'd be nice if the outdoor pool was warmer for my little boy, but that literally is my only gripe. Food was great. The buggy down into the village is a great touch as well. Had some fantastic meals out.
Large supermarket is 5-10mins drive away.
I did a great video of the whole Villa, but sadly I can't upload that. Most of my other photos are down in the village.
Can't wait for next year!

The Salema beach village is a fantastic property situated close to the beach on a bluff overlooking the sea. The rows of villas are neatly laid out. Our villa was a three bedroom unit with a wonderfully appointed interior. We had all the creature comforts of a house. The property manager was super helpful and nice. Overall this was an absolutely wonderful stay.

Lugnt och fint område. Ljusa och fina lägenheter med hög standard. Mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Promenadavstånd till stranden, men uppförsbacke tillbaka. Fyra kilometer till golfbanan Santo Antonio. Mycket rolig bana, men väldigt kuperad första nio hålen. Golfbil rekommenderas. Kommer säkert att åka hit igen.

I had a beautiful view, spacious accommodation. The only problem was the parking lot was 2 flights of stairs away from the front door. Also, the bedrooms are located down a flight of stairs. I would advise anyone with mobility issues to request a room on the same floor as the parking lot.

Amazing resort, amazing helpful and polite staff, amazing clean spacious and well equipped villas, amazing views but on a very steep hill. Bring some dishwasher tablets and washing powder as they can be bought at reception but I've heard quite expensive. Many thanks to all involved in providing guests with a free transport service picking you up at your door, dropping off in Salema Village and returning us back to our door. A very welcome and much appreciated service. You must try the potato wedges from the pool bar although as far as I'm aware the pool bar/restaurant closes mid October for winter. One recommendation I would advise is book local restaurants as they can get very busy and we seen customers turned away simply for this reason, reception staff are very happy to book for you. I would highly recommend Salema Beach Village and can't wait to return again

Pros: nice set-up, villas with a lot of space and all needed equipments, seaview, close to the village and the beach (wakking 5-10 minutes).Staff is nice and was quickto show up when we called them.
Cons: not a surprise as informed on the website, but not that many activities in the compound: just one pool, tennis paddle (and that one is not free, by far..), and outdoor gym. That could and should be improved.

We booked the hotel as Salema Beach Village. After getting lost and not finding the resort, we found out the name changed to Nau. Hotels.com should have emailed us with that information and did not. That was disappointing. The resort had its own issues as well. They said we were only there for 1 night, but I showed an email confirmation for 3 nights. She still messed up and locked us out of our villa after 1 day. Bell boy had to come and reactivate our villa keys. And they removed our credit card on file, so we had problems getting breakfast there. We shouldnt have to do check-in procedures more than one. Housekeeping came in while we were sleeping as well. The resort itself was nice, great location, and the villa was large and beautiful. Disappointed with hotels.com booking and resorts reception staff though.

Very spacious, super clean, well-maintained villas at reasonable prices in the shoulder season. We had way more space than we needed as couple (3 big BRs!), and the kitchen was very well-equipped. Very comfy for a quiet night in, but also very convenient if you wanted to venture out into town. Terrific service all around from super friendly staff to free shuttle service into downtown Salema/beaches which was very convenient. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Un sitio estupendo para estar unos días en familia. No está cerca de la playa pero te traen y te llevan. Piscina correcta, te dan toallas, no puedes meter las tuyas. La casa tenía una vista estupenda. La casa está bien equipada. La limpian a diario.

A beautiful purpose built village on top of a hill on the edge of Salema. It feels a little like you are walking round the set of an perfect Roman style village. The communal pool is well kept and has plenty of sun beds, a few days it gets a bit busy but space usually became available within an hour. The home is fantastic, plenty of space in a clean modern interior, air con in the living and bedrooms. A fully functional kitchen 80 channels to choose from on the Tv. A balcony overlooking the sea from home number 56. We did note that being at the top of a hill close to the most south western point of mainland Europe did mean it felt a bit windy which was enough to trouble the pool side umbrellas. It is a very quiet area but Lagos is only a short drive away to see a busy town. There is a supermarket (Intermarche) about 3-4km away that was quite a busy little store as the car park was often full, there is an overflow car park just to the side.

Great place with extremely quality in the housing. They do have a problem with the plumbing which we felt in different degrees in all three houses, make sure they fix it directly when you come and not just with perfume. We were a party of three families and booked almost a year in advance and asked for villas close to each other which they didn't manage... also they lack competence in the pool bar no-one picks up empty glass or trash during the day. Also the bar closes at 20.00 (the kitchen 19.30) and there is a bit to the village. Rides are offered though which is a big plus. The staff in general are very friendly and helpfull. The pool area is to small for the numbers of villas so be prepared for a crowd. The place has it all but a number of misses give them a poor grade.

Great place stay if you are visiting the south of Portugal. The apartments are clean and modern. You can access the beach within minutes by using the village transportation. Lagos and Sagres are also near the village and they both are beautiful city to visit. The restaurant in the village is actually really good and offers a room service if you want to eat in your apartment.

Nydelig beliggenhet, store leiligheter med topp standard, bra renhold, fint bassengområde. Rolig område. Ikke noe skikkelig supermarked i nærheten. Litt knapt med kjøkkenutstyr. Ønsker oss kildesortering, men det er det vel få hoteller som har i denne delen av Europa.

Lovely villas and very attentive staff. We had a sea view which did not disappoint. Would highly recommend to those travelling with young children as they provide stair gates, proper travel cots that actually look comfortable and the bar/restaurant has the Ikea highchairs with the trays and support cushions.
The only minor improvement I would suggest is a food/drink service until later in the evening.
Would gladly return.

Herrliche Anlage an einem ziemlich windigen Ort. Die Villas sind wie neu, modern eingerichtet und hervorragend gepflegt. In nicht mal fünf Gehminuten erreicht man das kleine Örtchen Salema mit tollen Restaurants und einem Sandstrand wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Kurz gesagt: Wir würden wiederkommen.

We spent 12 days there and it was simply a great experience. Starting with the staff who is super helpful and gives actually helpful advice on the restaurants around, through the houses which are modern (the Wi-Fi is excellent) and finally the location which is close to the beach (with a huge slope though) and other attractions. If there was one thing I may suggest, it is a basic table in the kitchen. Otherwise excellent stay, we will be back :)

Complejo turístico tranquilo y muy correcto. Situado en lo alto de una pendiente pronunciada muy incómoda salvo q recurra al servicio gratuito y muy amable de transporte. La playa de Salema muy, muy bonita. Fantástica! Para bañarse, pasear,... El núcleo urbano muy pequeño, con lo justo en tiendas de alimentación, bares y restaurantes.

Ruhige und sehr gepflegte Villenanlage, ca. 800m von Salema und dem gleichnamigen Strand entfernt. Wir hatten ein Haus mit Meeresblick, allerdings nur in 4. oder 5. Reihe. Da die gesamte Hotelanlage aber am Hang liegt, konnte man von der oberen Terrasse das Meer gut sehen und hören. Mir wurde gesagt, dass die ganze Anlage im Jahr 2016 errichtet wurde. Deswegen ist der Zustand der Anlage und auch die Räumlichkeiten sehr gut und sauber. Die große und gut ausgestattete Küche lädt auch mal zum Selbstkochen ein, kleinere Läden sind im Ort bzw. ein Intermarche 5-6 km entfernt. Der Poolbereich wirkt ein wenig steril, allerdings macht der Pool einen sauberen Eindruck und lädt zum Schwimmen ein (Snackbar und Brötchenservice vorhanden, allerdings erst ab 10h). Wir haben nach unserer Portugalrundreise den 5-tägigen Aufenthalt in der Anlage sehr genossen und würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

Das Haus ist ein Design-Traum, alles schön und neu. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, man kann also gut auch mal selber kochen. Schlaf- und Badezimmer sind ebenfalls super ausgestattet. Die Cleaning Ladies kommen täglich, machen die Betten, ersetzen die Frotteewäsche und putzen die Böden. Hoffentlich gehen die Gäste respektvoll mit den Objekten um, dass alles so schön bleibt. Wäre auch schön, wenn die Zigarettenstummel im Aschenbecher und nicht auf dem Rasen entsorgt würden. In der Anlage hat es keine Läden, aber unten im Dorf gibt es das nötigste und sonst ist es nicht weit zu Supermärkten und nach Lagos. Der nahe Strand ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Schöne neue Villenanlage, komplett eingerichtet,sehr sauber und gepflegt.Zu Fuß etwas beschwerlich zum Strand, es gibt aber einen kostenlosen shuttle.Durch die Hanglage aber fantastischen Blick.

Wunderbare Anlage. Ruhige Umgebung. Ca. 15 Minuten bis Lagos. Apartments sind in sehr gutem Zustand und Service ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Couldnt find this place. No signs from hwy. Not near beach -- on last road out of town. Not a hotel -- a condo with limited services (bring food, shampoo, soap, ppr towels, etc). No breakfast (snack bar at pool not even open tl 10am -- food horrible. No bellman - we had to find unit in dark and lug suitcases up 2 flights ourselves. Stove didnt work -- had to wait for maintenance to fix. 2d shower drain didnt work. Charges coffee, dish soap. Staff not helpful or even interested in helping you with directions. Ridiculous.

Muy recomendable Espacioso limpio nuevo tranquilo Ideal para familias Totalmente equipado El personal de recepción siempre disponible Tener en cuenta hora de entrada 18 horas En nuestro caso tuvimos que esperar a pesar de llegar a primera hora de la tarde Como única pega no hay limpieza de cocina, ni material para hacerlo uno mismo (horno, placa vitroceramica,.... )

Amazing place down on the southern coast, located in a smaller town which is slightly less touristy. The two bedroom house was gorgeous and large, with a basement terrance, main floor balcony and a rooftop area. 100% worth the ocean-view upgrade, will be back for sure!

Salema Beach Village is a new resort in the Western Algarve. It is near Salema, a beautiful and authentic Portuguese fishing village which has yet to be discovered by the lager drinking masses!The rooms (townhouses) are spacious and well appointed and are a short walk down a very steep hill (not suited to elderly or those mobility issues) from the village. The resort is one season old so still finding its feet to an extent. That said it lacks a couple of things, firstly, there is no gym, this was a big one for us and we ended up getting a personal trainer instead. Secondly, the resort centre isa bit soulless, the bar is inside, the pool is a couple of degrees too cool and there is a lack of shade when the wind is blowing (all the time!) as there are only brollies and no trees.All in all, a solid 4/5 with potential to get to 4.5 or 5 if a gym is built.

Great place for our family to spend a few days while in the Algarve. The pool is a great size, but is too freezing for adults to swim (kids don't seem to care!). The units are modern, very clean, and spacious. The pool snack bar is wonderful--staff so friendly.

Beautifully clean, spacious villas built to a very high specification. Great views. Nice pool. Located close to lovely fishing village with a good choice if restaurants. We loved it!

The Salema Beach Village is all new and very nice, luxury & super equipped for a family. Unfortunately the service is pretty bad. We had to carry our heavy luggage (for 2 woman & a baby after 8h of travelling) by ourself down from the carport to the flat (the village is on a steep hill). Flats are dangerous for toddlers as there a open stairs in the house - but for couples & families with older kids its really great!

We had a very bad experience with the Village don't book it. We booked it with AirBnb by Ana Sanona. We got a villa very far away from the beach. Also they were very uncooperative.

A great development which allows to enjoy Salema and its surroundings in total freedom.The villas are great, spacious and well-built.It is a 5-minute walk from Salema beach, its village and its restaurants. The development is set on a steep hill so this has to be kept in mind in case of mobility issues. However, it was easy enough to have our 4-years old kids to do it everyday.The swimming pool is nice for kids and a good alternative to the beaches for families.We highly recommend it.

Hemos estado una semana y la verdad es que ha sido muy agradable nuestra estancia . Todo nuevo y sin que falte un detalle ... la limpieza fenomenal . Estamos muy contentos y seguramente volvamos ... recomendable 100 % .
