Nice hosts, good vibes, perfect place for breakfast or to chill out with a coffee and Pastel de Nata, close to the beach.

We arrived when the pasteleria was closing but the owner was so kind and let us sit anyway. We really enjoyed the sweet food we had and also the atmosphere.

Best cafe in the area and at a great price! I would definitely recommend eating here over some of the terrible nearby restaurants

The best pastel di natas in Salema. Made on the premises so it's always just the right temperature. Coffee is good and it's always service with a smile. A good meeting place for the residence. Highly recommended.

Love the owners! Super friendly. Can't go wrong with pastel de nata for eighty cents. The bifana was also delicious. Definitely worth visiting for a quick lunch or small bite to eat.

Terrible service, these people are not interested in anything but taking your money and see you out of their shop as soon as possible. I wouldn't recommend!

The food is good. The service not so much. We went here 5 or 6 times during our visit and the main counter lady is less than friendly. What can you do though? The options in Salema are limited.

Ordered two coffees.. My grandmother accidentally split hers as we walked to the next table and burnt her leg. The cup was boiling and she screamed out. We asked in Portuguese and English for anything to help her relieve the burn on the legs or dry up the spill.. paper towel, a wet napkin, anything. He signed in annoyance, said he had 'nothing'and ignored us, proceeding to clean up the spill exclusively on the ground with no other assistance for my very injured grandmother with second degree burns. He mopped the floor silently pushing my grandmother out of the way (who was still trying to cool down the boiling coffee that was soaked into ner pants and was still asking him for help) while i had to go behind the counter nyself to get napkins, the whole time he gave us a horrible look, like we were the ones to ruin his day. The morning guy has ZERO people skills and I would recommend you avoid this place at all costs. No apology, no intention to help, our misfortune was his inconvenience, and no offer to replace the coffee. Looking back I wish I threw ny coffee in his face. He deserved it and if this is any indication of their regular service, they don't deserve a single euro of your business.

It is open early which is nice but they charged 2Eur for a crappy cup of coffee. We also interrupted the servers smoke break and received accordingly gruff service.

Breakfast sandwiches and excellent coffee and pastries - what else do you need? There's also a spacious outside area that's shaded. Service is very friendly.
