Ich war letztes Jahr dort und in diesem Jahr in Carcavelos. Im Vergleich waren sowohl die Unterkunft als auch Service und Aktivitäten hier in Burgau besser. Privater, ruhiger, aufmerksamer, etwas günstiger. Die längere Anreise an die Algarve lohnen sich definitiv, und der Aufenthalt hier in der Lodge sowieso.

Ich würde der Lodge zwischen 3 und 4 Punkte geben: - Personal an der Rezeption war bei Anreise nicht sehr hilfsbereit (Tipp an den Besitzer: macht den Tresen hinter dem sich die Rezeptionsmitarbeiter verstecken etwas niedriger und jeder Gast fühlt sich willkommener) - Lodge ist schwer zu finden und könnte besser ausgeschildert sein - Hauseigene Bar schliesst um 23:00 - Hunde des Nachbar bellen fortwährend - wer tagsüber etwas zu trinken möchte, hat das Gefühl die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption zu stören - unbequeme Betten - kein Platz um Kleidung aus dem Koffer zu nehmen - keine Wäscheleine für Badehose, Bikini etc. - Toilettenpapier in den Mülleimer... okay aber bitte dann öfter ausleeren - Bettlaken sind schmuddelig - 1 Handtuch für 1 Woche wobei es nur einmal gewechselt wird - Duschvorhänge sind ekelhaft und sollten gewaschen werden - 4 Bäder für bis zu 20/25 Personen (wobei ich immer noch nicht verstanden habe, warum Gäste von anderswo auch dort duschen z.B. nach dem Surfen...) + Parkplätze vorhanden + Supermarkt in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar + Küche für alle nutzbar + Gutes Frühstück + Dinnerabende 15 Euro dafür hervorragendes Essen + schöner Garten zum Ausruhen + Yoga-Garten und Instruktorin sind topp +++ Instruktoren für Kitesurfing sind super! +++ tolle 6:30 SUP Tour ++++ Giulia, die sich die letzten Tage ums Frühstück gekümmert hat und sich um Sauberkeit bemüht, ist klasse Wenn ich nicht so tolle Leute kennengelernt hätte und die Instruktoren nicht so super wären, dann wäre ich eher abgereist. Ein gewisses Mass an Sauberkeit ist eben auch in den Ferien wichtig um sich wohl zu fühlen :)

I spent there few days in June and it was amazing. A really nice chilled atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The settings is perfect if you are surfing, kite surfing or just chilling in that part of the Algarve. The outside area is really nice, you can follow the sun (or the shade) as the day pass by as you have a lot of different relaxing area. We have some catered food arranged by the Ocean Spirit one night and we all ate around the big table table outside, really nice food and vibe. Another night they lighted up the pizza oven and served home made stone baked pizza. They have dorm if you are looking at a cheap place to stay for the night and few private room if you want a bit more privacy. The room are nicely decorated, bathrooms well situated near the rooms and you have a communal kitchen where everyone stop by to have a chat while you are cooking. really amazing place, I can’t recommend it enough.

We had an amazing time at the Ocean Spirit Lodge and during the kite, sup and surf lessons! All teacher and hosts are very nice and full of positive energy. The kite lessons are giving in a lagoon, in which you can stand and has no waves, very nice conditions to learn how to kitesurf. We stayed at the balcony room and in the apartment. The room is in the lodge which has the benefit of being at the centre of where all the activities start and where people hangout. The apartment (5 min away from the lodge) has a swimming pool and private bathroom. The village is quite small but has a small/beautiful beach, with a nice beachbar for food and drinks. The activities all happen at other beaches +/-30 drive from the lodge, vans are driven by the instructors. The kiting is depended on the wind of course, we were there in June and could go kiting 6 out the 10 days. The benefit of the Algarve is that, next to kitesurfing you can almost do everything, surfing, suppen, horse back riding, climbing, wakeboarding, dancing etc! We are definitely coming back!

- Good kite/ surf lessons - The daily yoga lessons are really high quality - The breakfast is good - nice and relaxed atmosphere - the most wonderful personnel that really take their time for guests.

Visited the Kiteschool and Lodge twice, in 2017 and 2019. The lodge itself is beautiful and has a special vibe through its unique facilities and ambiance. All rooms are clean and the large outside terrace and garden invites for relaxing over the day and delightful dinners in the nights. Kite and surfing school itself offers experienced instructors and the lagoon in Alvor is the perfect spot for learning and improving kitesurfing. Burgau is a quite village with a few restaurants and a nice beach. Fully recommended.

Relaxed, easy-living-atmosphere kitesurf lodge located in Burgau, Algarve. The atmosphere is being carried by the lodge's crew and their guests - mostly kitesurfers. Kitesurfing starts usually in the late afternoon, depending on wind conditions. Unfortunately the kite-spot is about a 30 minute car-drive away from the lodge, which makes you totally dependent on others if you don't have a car of your own. But If you like being in a chilled, easy spot and get along well with a crowd of many cooking in the lodge's shared kitchen around noontime, this place could be for you.

Perfekter Ort um mal richtig die Seele baumeln zu lassen!!! Coole Location, coole Leute, coole Vibes! Der perfekte Ort für einen perfekten Urlaub. Ob du Ruhe oder Geselligkeit sicher, du findest beides hier. Die Krönung​ der Entspannung sind die Hängematten, welche zu Häufig im Garten installiert sind. Der Besitzer dieses Kleinods, ist Benny, der dem ganzen Ocean Spirit Leben verleiht. Danke Benny für die schöne Zeit mit dir.

Echt freshe Location. Wenn man zu OCEAN spirits reinkommt wird Benni einen herzlich aufnehmen und kann auch dort echt gut chillen. Das ganze dort ist einfach mega fresh und nice. Man kann auf Hängematten liegen und alles ist in dem Surfstil gebaut. Echt cool dort. Man kann dort auch kitekurse, SUP Kurse und vieles mehr buchen. Und die Kurse sind erste Sahne mit einer Kirsche drauf. Danke an dich Benny, Dave und deine Crew.

Close enough to the buzzing tourist hotspot Lagos, but far enough to enjoy the relaxed vibe of nature. Excellent kite, surf and SUP spots in all directions.
