Very nice restaurant and great food. Staff was very polite and attentive (they brought a blanket for my daughter when they saw she was cold). Great experience.

Excellent food, staff excellent. Lovely setting. Been 3 times since we arrived. We got here on Monday 29th April. Today is 2nd May.

A fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the fish which is fresh and we'll prepared. A small live band also plays music and more importantly it plays music that is not intruding while talking with family and friends, but rather a welcoming background sound. The service is also fantastic, they were very nice and efficient.
Best of course was the view. The beach which seems to be never ending along with the beautiful ocean is something you just can't miss. Relaxing to just sit here for hours.

Great Place with a wonderful view to the Beach. The Restaurant has enough tabels and is clean! Very delisious Food! Very good staff. The Price of 22 Eur was a Little Bit to high for the Pasta. The Cheeseburger was ok in the Price and very very tasty!

On a le sentiment de ne pas exister ou d être de trop
Le repas servi est loin de valoir son prix - plus que moyen
Le menu enfant n'en parlons pas ... Le menu n est en fait qu un plat ! Mes enfants ont pris un hamburger = une semelle entre 2 bouts de pain desséchés pas une rondelle de tomate ni un brin de sauce
Une honte d avoir payé si cher pour si médiocre
Il y a plein d autres endroits dans ce secteur que le bord de plage alors allez voir ailleurs

Stunning location. There was live music when we visited which was nice and the food was great. Beautiful prawns. Staff were all lovely. Would really recommend this restaurant and I hope to go back when I next visit the area.

The service was good but my wife and I both had a salad, one with prawns and one with squid. The salad consisted of onions, tomato and cut salad from the wholesaler. The prawns had been frozen and the squid came from a tin. For an expensive restaurant on the beach where we paid €15 for a salad of this calibre is disgraceful. I am a chef and know the difference although the waiter told me that the squid did not come from a tin and was but was as if he was not sure. Bit of a shame.

Horrible place, food substandard and by far too expensive for what you get. Would give 0 stars if it wouldn't be for the friendly service. If you want good food, go somewhere else...

Lunch at Izzys on a rainy day - fish soup, salmon paste, the pan fried sole & one -maybe two ,OK three bottles of wine with some very good live music too --Fabulous! Oh, the service was very good as well!! We will be back!

Great location, mediocre food. Don't believe the package holiday apologists saying it's the place to go in the area - yes the view is spectacular, that doesn't justify €10 for 6 frozen mozzarella sticks. Or excuse €10 for rubbery, over-battered calamari. Fresh grilled fish was ok if a bit underseasoned, side orders were soggy and lifeless - not sure why the "famous" lemon cream fish sauce is so famous either, tasted like watery mayo to me. Avocado prawns came drowned in Marie rose and dumped on two avo halves with the skins still on (!). I could go on, but for the sake of brevity - worth going for a cocktail at sunset, then go eat at Maria's or Saudade.

Izzy's is a lovely comfortable beach bar with really good cocktails . Such a pity the waitress serving us was so sour, no smile, no conversation.

We ate there for 4 dinners during our stay in Algarve and the food was always great! Both fish and meat dishes were tasty and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended if you are staying in Garrão/Lobos and want to have a dinner next to the beach and ocean

The location of Izzy's is stunning, right on the beach front, the restaurant itself is stylish and cool, the atmosphere is great and staff are friendly and attentive. The food was good, a little overpriced but you pay for the location of course! And even very kindly arranged a BEAUTIFUL birthday cake for 14 of us with only 24hours notice.

Having not been for a while after a bad meal we thought we would try again.
I wish we had not!! Boring over priced food with no effort or creativity!
We will not go again which is a shame as we used to go a lot.

Hier kostet zwar alles etwas mehr als der Standard aber hier hat man tolle Bedienungen sauberes Ambiente und zu aller letzt, die Aussicht die man auf den Strand und das mehr hat ist einfach wirklich schön. also da gehe ich öfters hin

A beautiful location - we ate outside at sunset which was gorgeous if a bit windy! Inside looked very noisy and many families with young kids. The food was ok , not quite as excellent as I'd hoped for the prices. Service very good. They even brought me a blanket so I wouldn't be cold outside!

Nous n,avions pas réservé, et on a attendu 10mn débout que qqun s,occupe de nous. Finalement il y a une table de libre et on ns dit de ns asseoir. On attend 15 mn puis à côté s,installent 6 personnes à une table. (On est un couple et un enfant). Et le serveur leur apporte leq menus de suite après! Nous toujours pas de menus en mains au bout de 30 mn et personne ne s,est occupé de nous!! Alors on s,est levé sans diner ni boire et on est parti ailleurs!! Sinon très joli cadre si on vous sert!

Great Staff, loads of fun. Offer a range of dishes - fresh fish and seafood, salads, burgers.
Stunning views and you can walk to Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo resorts.
Expect to pay between 40-50 Euro per head if opting for seafood/fish and glass of wine.
Definitely one of our favourites.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Speisen waren sehr lecker. Der Ausblick ist natürlich fantastisch. Es ist empfehlenswert zu reservieren, wir hatten aber auch ohne Reservierung einen super Tisch.

Always great; the food is always fresh and tasty and the service is brilliant. Rory the English manager is excellent and always willing to go the extra mile (he helped jump start my car last time!)
Its views are stunning out across Garrao Beach to the ocean and I cant recommend enough visiting Izzys for lunch.

Hate to give it 2 out of 5, this place used to be great, but now all it is, is an overpriced restaurant. Every time we have been for the past 3 years service is very slow, food not that great and we have been incorrectly charged four times!
We keep going back as it was somewhere we used to go all the time and loved it. Whereas now it just seems sad to say it is an overpriced tourist beach bar for rose drinking, beach goers.

Not sure if this is the normal standard, but the staff just aren't being able to keep up a normal standard when it comes to service, remembering orders and being swift...
