Really lovely good and the staff are great. Sat outside which is situated in a really nice awning and nice to people watch and see the marina, the restaurant is just up a street opposite the marina road which was romantic. A taxi was able to drop us right outside as I have severe mobility issues. Which was extremely convenient and it's good for other persons with disabilities to know too. We mainly had fish and other sea foods. Extremely fresh and the flavours are superb. The pork strips was the nicest pork dish my husband has ever had. I'm not a fan of pork, but even I thought it was delicious. The fire drink part was really cool and it's got a lovely atmosphere. Drinks are very cheap and food was inexpensive, considering we had lots of different fresh seafood, including a huge fish platter and then calamari, a separate squid dish and garlic clams, two meat dishes, one potato dish, a vegetarian dish and two really nice deserts and drinks including a coffee at the end, which my husband had. Each dish had it's own originality and although we are loads, because it was so fresh and not fatty, we were definitely full, the portions were good sizes but it wasn't too heavy on the stomach, because it was cooked to perfection and not just covered in oil and grease. Plus it was nice that we were not made to eat really quickly or rushed. It was the opposite, each dish came out as soon as that particular dish was cooked. So we were able to appreciate each dish really well and not have luke warm food. We had a free drink from the fire and a free lemoncelo after food, which was really nice of them. It came to about £50 between us. For the amount and quality of the food and all the drinks, in Wales we would not have had that quality of the fish or meat unless we went to a very high end fish or meat restaurant and it would have cost at least twice the amount, we paid here and that's me being extremely conservative. It was really friendly, we were there two hours and encouraged to stay and relax. Children were more than welcomed there, a lot of families were eating there and a lot of locals, which shows the quality and service of the restaurant. It's a great place for couples, families, people eating on their own. You can just have a light bite or a drink as a table were there just drinking and relaxing outside. Or you can have a huge array of dishes. The advise regards the dishes was extremely helpful also.

Sensationelle Tapas ganz toll erklärt für einen sehr fairen Preis. Hier zu essen war das Highlight unseres Anreisetages und hat uns das ankommen und die Vorfreude auf den Urlaub erhöht. Schade dass wir nur eine Nacht in olhao waren, sonst wäre wir nochmal hingegangen. Zudem eine kleine Showeinlagen mit dem Ergebnis gratis-shot für alle :)

Sehr authentischer kleiner Tapas laden. Nahe der Promenade von Olhao. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Unser Kellner war sehr bemüht uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Unbedingt die Nachspeisen probieren. Zur Zeit nur Barzahlung möglich, soll aber demnächst auch mit Karte möglich sein. Wird bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Olhao unbedingt wieder besucht.

I love this Tapas restaurant. They have a wide selection of seafood tapas to choose from, and all of them are delicious. As well as other kinds of tapas. The service is very friendly and efficient, and on some evenings they have live music. Do book in advance though, because it's always packed.

Dopo aver letto un bel po di recensioni online e affamati com’eravamo, ci siamo recati in questo piccolo ristorante all’interno di una viuzza del paese. Eravamo andati lì specificatamente per mangiare la paella, ma una volta datoci il menu abbiamo notato che la paella era tra i piatti da ordinare in anticipo, anche il cameriere ci ha confermato sconfortato che non sarebbe stato possibile prepararla. Decidiamo quindi di scegliere altri piatti da un menu che definirei scarso di dettagli, visto che non vengono elencati gli ingredienti utilizzati nelle preparazioni. Nel frattempo il cameriere ci porta per “scusarsi” del disagio della paella una sorta di patè con i crostini, che alla fine di tutto ci ha anche fatto pagare, ma tantè... nel frattempo ordiniamo dei gamberoni grigliati (7€), dei moscardini fritti (6,5€) e un “clams rice” (sul menu viene riportato solo questo) piatto da 30€ da dividere dopo che abbiamo chiesto informazioni e il cameriere ne ha tessuto le lodi, menzionando alcuni degli ingredienti tra cui del pomodoro. Arrivano i gamberoni, 4 gamberoni contati, buoni ma dal prezzo esagerato. Arrivano i “moscardini fritti” ehhh sorpresa, arrivano delle seppioline a bagno d’olio ( ♂️), buone ma un piatto totalmente diverso (il cameriere avrà sbagliato ordine), e alla fine il piatto della serata alla modifica cifra di 30€, con cui potrete anche voi deliziarvi con un magnifico riso bianco in brodo d’ospedale con delle vongole insapore (ma davvero insapore)! Per il riso mi sono messo le mani ai capelli, non c’era nemmeno il pomodoro menzionato. Terribile, e strapagato. Conto di 50,20€ con i piatti elencati sopra più due coca cole in lattina e il pane. Fate vobis ♂️

Não consigo arranjar defeitos neste restaurante. A relação qualidade-preço é excelente, o serviço é excelente, a comida é divinal e é tudo feito com imenso carinho e preocupação. Deixo ainda algumas sugestões de comida: polvo e tataki.
No final ainda ofereceram uma queimada!

Wir hatten nichts reserviert und wurden ins Obergeschoss verwiesen. Dort erwartete uns eine traumhafte kleine Terrasse.
Unsere Bedienung war klasse. Quirlig zwischen allen Tischen hin und her und sie hatte trotzdem die Zeit sich mit jedem Gast zu unterhalten. Neben Portugiesisch und Englisch könnte sie auch fließend Französisch.
Mansche Speisen waren nicht vorrätig aber es wurden passende Alternativen angeboten.
Tapas Kosten zwischen 2,50€ und 8€
Eine gute Flasche Wein gibt es für 10-15€.
Wir hatten 4 Tapas, Brot, ein Paté zum Brot, eine Flasche Wein, (2 Gläser Wein aufs Haus), 4 Schnäpse (2davon aufs Haus) und einen Nachtisch für insgesamt 44 Euro. Preis-/Leistung ist wirklich bombastisch!

Wirklich etwas besonderes für den Geschmack (nach Tagesempfehlungen fragen!) - einzig der Polvo-Tentakel war leider zu fest (aber ich nehme mal an, dass es eher ein Versehen war) - alles war perfekt gewürzt! Liegt etwas versteckt, ist aber entzückend eingerichtet. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre und gute Tapas zu einem guten Preis. Es gibt auch eine deutsche Karte. Mittwochs gibt es schöne Live Musik (Saxophon). Am Wochenende wird Feuerzangenbowle zubereitet verteilt. Es gibt auch eine schöne Teras. Absolutes Highlight ist der super motivierte und mindestens genauso freundlicher Portugiesisch-Deutsche Kellner.

One of the highlights of our stay in Olhão. The waiting staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was well worth the price, and the live musci really added to the dining experience. I would definitely recommend it as a must see to anyone visiting the area

The owner Renato and his wife basically invented the tapas concept in Olhao. They make the most perfect petiscos and tapas, which i recomend the brik cheese, puntilhitas, cuddle fish, lobster cataplana... great prices within amazing service. Staff is also friendly/professional. They had also an amazing witchcraft ritual at night, just for fun (nothing actually dramatic, but fun to watch)

We had tapas, wine, beer, and digestivos, all were incredible. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the quality and experience. Most notably the owner and staff were outstanding. They were so welcoming, friendly, and kind. We spent two nights there and both were top experiences! We will certainly be back in our travels!

Excellence and consistency is what sets this place apart from the rest. I've been at this restaurant 2 years ago under recommendation of our local hosts and we had a memorable meal that still is the benchmark for what a proper tapas should be in Olhão.
Last night, once again, it didn't disappoint. What a dinner!! The flavours are authentic despite the recepies being a melting pot of cuisines. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is fun and boy the food is good! This is a proper restaurant, not in the business of scamming tourists. This place is THE real deal, if I lived here this is where you'd find me every other night. Go, and you won't be disappointed!

Fiquei muito desiludida. As tapas que estavam no menu não tinham quase nada, demoraram imenso tempo a servir e a simpatia não foi quase nenhuma. Não recomendo!!
