It is always really crowded on Summer months but the boss, Sr. João, always does his best to find us a table. Being so close to the beach I would say it is a "beach restaurant", but the food is quite OK, really! However, when so crowded, it can be very slow...probably the kitchen is too small for the number of tables.

Déception car l'expérience est nettement moins agréable que l'an dernier. Le patron est toujours aussi serviable mais la cuisine ne suit plus, c'est devenu assez ordinaire. De plus un des serveurs n'avait pas une attitude très professionnelle avec nous.

Melhor sitio para comer peixe bom e acessível!! Num dos meus passeios à Fuseta resolvi experimentar este restaurante depois de muito procurar e não me arrependi nada! Escolhi peixe espada e o prato do dia era coelho estufado, ambos maravilhosamente confeccionados, com um staff super simpático! O restaurante não é muito grande e ao almoço está mais cheio com as pessoas que trabalham na zona, pelo que aconselho a ir um pouco mais cedo, relação qualidade/preço ótima! A sobremesa foi das melhores que comi nos últimos tempos, bolo de chocolate com recheio de caramelo, de comer e chorar por mais. . .este tenho foto, pena não me ter lembrado de fotografar a comida! No fim da refeição ainda nos foi oferecido um digestivo que era somente fantástico! Recomendo e voltarei certamente

We enjoyed a good meal with good service. We ate outside although it was a little cloudy. Inside is a large dining area which was very busy. Indicated it is very popular with the locals.

Ich mag diese typische portugiesische Snackbar. Frischer Fisch, Einheimische die Fussball gucken und dabei ihr Bier trinken. Dazu das unvermeidliche Neon Licht.

Coquillages bien cuisinés, patron toujours en première ligne pour assurer..
Revenu fin 2018 rien à redire sur la cuisine et l accueil !!!! Mais avec le réchauffement climatique les prix en 3 ans ont pris un coup de chaud !

Se olvidaron de nosotros durante una hora y media y al ir a reclamar la comida nos dijeron que era culpa nuestra ya que al reservar teníamos que haber especificado que platos queríamos, aunque en ningún momento nos lo comentaron.
Pedimos el mix de pescado y el vino de la casa y tampoco fue nada del otro mundo. No volveré.

Tardaron 30 min en traernos el agua y el vino, y hora y media en total en servirnos la comida.
Entiendo que había poco personal atendiendo las mesas pero no se interesaron por nosotras en todo ese tiempo hasta que ya les llamamos la atención por la espera. El pescado no estaba mal, pero dada la reputación, esperábamos más.

Great atmosphere and just a cozy place to eat. The server talked pretty clear English which was a nice change. The food was kind of overly salted and tasted just 'meh' (I ordered something that was 3 kinds of meat just slapped onto a plate with fries). It is worth mentioning that this is a more seafood oriented restaurant and that they had a great variety of fresh fish dishes, and by looking at the other reviews of the fish I would imagine that they really nail those experiences. To sum it up: this restaurant should do what they do and not try to be something else. It's a fish restaurant and to be honest if they want to be anything else they will have to try a little harder. I recommend choosing another restaurant unless you are in the mood for fresh fish.

Restaurante tipico e de grande qualidade . Peixe e marisco sempre super fesco e uma simpatia acima da media. Staff muito simpatico e acolhedor, começando pelo anfitrião Sr Joao, passando pelo afavel Fabio, o simpatico e brincalhao Marco e finalmente o benjamin Ruben. Recomendo vivamente no centro de uma Vila maravilhosa.

Our experience in this restaurant was THE most horrible I ever had ! We were waiting for 30 min before the waiter even noticed us. Then almost 1 hour to get a meal. I cleaned myself our table because no one would come and clean and welcome. We were so hungry. I was steeling bread from other tables to feed my family. If you can avoid it , don’t go there. They are not ready to receive tourists. Very bad experience:-(

Two years after our first visit to Capri in Fuseta, I am happy to say that they still serve honest, local fish, seafood, and meat dishes without too much fuss. We were very happy to meet owners and staff again and are looking forward to our next visit to Fuseta, where the Restaurant Capri will again be one of the highlights of our stay!
And these were my original words of praise: Wonderfully fresh seafood and fish and staff who make you feel at home.

Great fresh fish! We tried many different fish restaurants during our stay in Fuzeta, this was our favourite one, mainly because of the fresh regional fish and perfect cooking!

Essen sehr gut, aber als Nicht-Portugiese wird man von den Service-Kräften leicht übersehen. Man wartet schon mal 45 Minuten auf ein Bier und ein zweites bekommt man sehr schwer.

Das Essen ist sehr, sehr lecker.
Leider macht das Personal den ganzen Genuss zunichte. Eine Stunde aufs Essen warten, die Bedienungen laufen ohne zu sehen oder etwas zu hören an einem vorbei. Getränke nachbestellen ist fast nicht möglich, in der Hektik wird es dann auch schon mal auf den Nachbartisch abgestellt und man kann es sich selbst holen. Für ein Abendessen mit (!) Reservierung kann man dann schon mal gut und gerne zwei bis zweieinhalb Stunden einplanen. Ohne Dessert.
Wir gehen wieder in die althergebrachten Gaststätten, da haben wir bessere Erfahrungen zu günstigeren Preisen gemacht.

Sitio muy comercial y nada del otro mundo además servicio bastante lento y despistado.
Fuimos a mediodía y no pudimos comer calamar de ningún tipo porque no quedaba y tuvimos suerte que quedaba para un plato de sardinas (no me explico como un restaurante que siempre está lleno se puede quedar sin género).
El precio me pareció caro para lo que comimos, en general no lo recomiendo, hay otros sitios en Fuseta que son mejores aunque no tienen tanta fama. Pero si aún así lo probáis os recomiendo las almejas y las sardinas que están muy buenas.

This is a very busy restaurant, and we just managed to get a table for two without a reservation. Mainly because we went out just before the peek hours. Had meat dishes and not seafood, as the place is recognized for. Our food was not excellent, but more than decent. Cosy atmosphere, but the waiters was undermanned and stressed. Had to wait for the bill for a long time.

Serviço muito lento,pouca atenção aos clientes, 3h no restaurante, mais de 30min para levantarem a mesa e sobremesa, mais 30 para café e conta...o resto foi à espera de um arroz de marisco que avisaram que demorava mas veio passado e com areia na ameijoa. Não voltamos.

Os produtos são todos muito frescos e saborosos. O atendimento é personalizado, sempre disponível e de bom agrado. A equipa toda é simpática, com realce para o dono, pessoa afável e amável. Por tudo, é um restaurante que revisitamos todos os anos, situado num largo muito pitoresco da vila da fuzeta e onde nos deliciamos com as suas iguarias após cada dia de praia.

Really lovely atmosphere and lovely food, if you’re willing to wait for it - the seafood risotto for 2 will easily serve 4 but takes about an hour to come, so if you have young children (as we do), order their food first and have other entertainment on hand to keep them occupied while they wait for you to finish as much as you can eat. Laid-back but very friendly service - don’t be in a rush: you’re on holiday and you’re in Portugal. Enjoy!

Great service and amazing food
We had “Ameijoas” that were very very good and I eat “Ameijoas” a lot of times. The “caracois” were also great and so was the shrimp. Staff is very nice and always helpful. A tradition portuguese restaurant to stop and enjoy some nice and authentic portuguese food. Thank you

Capri restaurant in the small town square of Fuseta is a traditional Portuguese restaurant.The food is basic but very good quality and very cheap.
The staff are very friendly and efficient. Always a smile on their face.
We were the only non Portuguese in the restaurant at the time which tells you a lot about the place if the locals use it.
When the weather is suitable most people eat outside in the square which then contributes greatly to the buzz in the square.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very crowded during Summer months and naturally service suffers but they are always nice and helpful. Specialised on grills, with very good and fresh fish. Lunch time is somewhat quieter and they have a daily that is "different", more good comfort food.

Good restaurant, has a very good variety of fresh and tasty fish and sea food, the prices are lower than the ones you would expect in other places in Algarve.
Not only that but if you don't want any fish nor sea food you can always ask for meat and I can almost guarantee that it will taste amazingly.
The only problems (in my opinion) are that it it hasn't got lots of space inside and outside you would probably have a lot of bugs bothering you, also that the service isn't very fast.
Apart from that, it is overall a good place to eat.
