Ryanair hat uns hier hin verfrachtet, nachdem unser Flug annulliert wurde. Wir haben nach einer Minute wieder ausgecheckt, die Zimmer sind runtergewohnt, das Bettzeug war klamm, das Zimmer unglaublich kalt. In solch einem widerlichen Zimmer sollte niemand übernachten, danke nein.

Room was fine for an overnight stay before our flight...could use a little remodelling. Complimentary breakfast buffet was great and is served in a beautiful room downstairs.Hotel staff were very helpful.

Ottimo hotel, che meriterebbe più delle due stelle. Stanze pulite e ben organizzate. Bella sala per una ricca colazione. Personale gentile e premuroso. Dispone di parcheggio privato. È a qualche centinaio di metri dalle stazioni dei treni e degli autobus e dal centro storico. Ideale per un bel soggiorno a Faro, a prezzo accessibilissimo.

Precio económico, sorprende por su limpieza, recepción 24 h y atención de su personal, se ofrece desayuno a 7 euros pero al lado del hotel se encuentra un café muy bueno que abre temprano por la mañana.

Although it was a bit of a hike to the old walled city, we were able to get a great map from the Information Centre there. We found that there were several excellent restaurants within a couple of blocks and the streets were quiet and safe. We will stay here again when we return to Faro.

Accueil aimable et en français. Plan de la ville remis avec qques indications. À seulement 15min à pieds du centre ville .... chambre correcte avec grand lit et sdb privée. Pour une voire deux nuits à la ville.

A good basic hotel. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to rave about either - so good 3* value.Close (easy 10 min walk) to the old town, restaurants and marina. View was of the sports centre - if thats yr bag..., lifts are tiny, breakfast was adequate, front desk was OK. Easy parking outside hotel.

Lage ist gut, Personal nett, Frühstück gut. Ausstattung sehr alt und abgewohnt. Vorhänge zum Teil zerrissen und es ist unfassbar laut. Wir mussten schnell wieder abreisen, da mein Mann nach der ersten Nacht über den gesamten Rücken komplett verstochen oder verbissen war...

Points positifs : propreté, une jolie terrasse au 7ème étage, même si sans aucun parasol, parking gratuit devant l'hôtel.
Négatifs: chambre minuscule, salle de bain «d'origine », tv écran plat de marque inconnue, avec 15 chaînes dont seulement 5 ou 6 qui marchent, en français seulement bfmtv....., accueil froid, limite on s'en fous.
Personnellement, plus jamais!

Fem stjerner er vel egentlig for mye vurdert ut fra standaren til fem-stjerners hoteller. Men er du som meg bryr du deg ikke om modernitet. Da liker du å være på et sted der alt er rent, et personale som alltid er vennlige og hjelper deg med å lære deg det spennende språket med verdens tykkeste s-er. Men folk er jo forskjellige.

Het is allemaal wat verouderd maar het is schoon en de mensen zijn super behulpzaam.
Bedden zijn een beetje hard maar vergeleken met de ziekenhuis stoel waar we om de nacht in sliepen was het heerlijk. Ontbijtje is simpel maar prima.

Terrible!! I travel all the time but i havent seen that much rude behaviour in a hotel!! When we arrive the hotel while my husband was doing check in i wanted to sea the room. they gave me key and after 2min. a very impolite guy came after me and he said "we will give another room to you. you used the room already and i have to pay extra! " it was unbelievable... all that kind of bad treatment continued during our stay. i wanted connect with their manager but they said they dont know his name! IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE! price is too much for that service. rooms are very old. non smoking room smells cigarette like hell! words are not enough to explain how much i am unhappy about our stay. all i can say is dont go! and now i can understand why it was the only hotel that we can find a room on last minute...

For the rating of the hotel, it’s pretty decent.
It’s not a high end hotel, but it’s definitely not at the bottom end either. It’s a good, decent, clean, well run hotel, with friendly staff.
The room itself was clean and well presented. Again, not a top end hotel, but they do their very best with what they have. Shower worked well and was warm.
We’re the kind of folk that all we want from a hotel is a bed for the night and Alnacir provided that.
Breakfast was reasonable.
I recommend heading into town for dinners/meals there’s some great restaurants in town.

The hotel was very basic and decor a little dated but it was spotlessly clean and the hotel staff were all so lovely, happy and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent with a big range from choices of flavoured teas, coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, to bread, rolls, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, ham, cheese & pastries.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Faro square/ old town via back streets.

É um hotel que satisfaz as necessidades. Suponho que esteja de acordo com a sua classificação, no entanto devo dizer que há algumas coisas desagradáveis... por exemplo a banheira muito velha, o wc em geral envelhecido e amarelado.
O quarto é fresco, o pequeno almoço servido na cave... no entanto tinha uma boa variedade de artigos para manjar. Não entendo os 6 euros por pessoa/por pequeno almoço... mas pronto.
A cama é boa, limpeza feita.
Alguns cheiros.

Hôtel très bien placé très propre personnel sympathique et à votre écoute le seul hic j'avais une chambre côté rue juste en face d'une salle omnisports donc très bruyant le soir à cause des entraînements et rencontres sportives tardives, ajouté à cela la proximité de l'aéroport générant des nuisances sonores (décollage d'avions très fréquents)
petit déjeuner complet, bon rapport qualité prix.

How one person can mess up your perfect holiday in Portugal.

I contacted the guys behind the desk and arranged with them to have it sent to my next stay.
After two days they still didn’t post it.
After phoning a 100 times the guy said it’s not his problem.
My flight is booked for a Friday back to South Africa today is Wednesday he only posted the passports at 13 30 and on normal post not even express.
Thursday is a public holiday.
My question to him was, if he or his kids were in my country and I just said sorry it’s not my fault and just did so little to help another human in such need of help what would he do .........
It’s a disgrace that one human can do such a little for another.
I guess it’s a lesson ......

I come from a country that has a 17 to 1 exchange rate. If I miss my flight on Friday this will cost me about 1200 euro R 20 000 this is not extra hotel cost etc and all the other costs. So disappointed in the staff at this hotel.

Pessoal da recepção extremamente rude.. Cama horrível. Elevador primitivo. Não sei como isso ainda pode ser considerado hotel. Deveria ser um pensionato. Não gaste seu dinheiro aqui.

Pros: olcsó, van klíma, a tisztaság rendben van.
Cons: nincs hűtő, amit egy forró napon nagyon hiányolok. A wifi 5 percenként megszakad. A szomszédból nagyon sok zaj hallatszik. A főprobléma, hogy az ágy annál a falnál van ahol a szomszéd szoba tv-je.

I didn’t stay at this hotel out of choice.
Due to a cancelled flight, Ryan Air put us here for the night.
Let’s go from the beginning.
Upon entry our passports were scanned without reasoning, when questioned why our passports were scanned I had a confused look and was ignored.
When given the key to the room we made our way upstairs, when myself and my partner entered the room there was a pungent smell of body odour. Given, the room was clean but I’m sure that first impressions last, regardless.
When asking the person behind reception (the guy we initially met had left at this point) where we were able to go for food he just simply said “wherever you want, I’m not your manager”
I’m sorry but this was not the best thing to say to someone who should be at home at this time and after having a very unpleasant day, this isn’t the way to really make a customer feel welcomed.
The place is very dated, the staff are rather rude, the prices are absolutely mental. €2 for a bottle of beer and €2 for a can of coke.. the whole aspect of the hotel baffles me.
As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for in this place, even though I personally didn’t pay, I would severely advise whoever is debating staying here to find another hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. I thought that the breakfast being in the basement was a little strange but it had everything you need. The room was incredibly clean and the AC worked great. The staff were helpful and spoke perfect English.

Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß, alte muffige Decken, keine Mischamaturen im Bad, kein Kühlschrank,
Unbequeme Betten (sogar die Kissen haben eine Kunststoff Schutzhülle unter dem Bezug),
ein sehr schlechtes kontinentales Frühstück (Kaffee schmeckt nach Wurstwasser, alte Brötchen, nur das billigste)

Mon avis: au premier abord on se dit mais dans quel quartier on est! puis dans l hôtel l accueil est parfait, il y a un parking privé peu cher, avec accès depuis l hôtel, la chambre familiale n est pas immense mais suffisante. sale de bain avec tout ce qu'il faut. Petit déjeuner copieux. Il a tout d un grand en sachant qu il a deux étoiles.c est très propre. Hotel qui se donne du mal et qui réussit.

Best wel duur voor wat je krijgt,
Mensen achter de balie zijn vaak chagerijnig.
Bedden liggen vreselijk, kussens kun je net zo goed weglaten.
Alles is ouderwets, lift is mega klein, als je niet tegen kleine ruimtes kan en op 7 hoog zit heb je een probleem.
Kamer is wel schoon en dichtbij winkelcentrum.

Hotel was dirty, dangerously hot, staff were rude and didnt want to tel us about facilities such as parking. I would actually like a full refund on both the rooms we had! Im not usually fussy with hotels (usually choosing the second to cheapest option and finding the positives in them), we were only there for the night. However, I was actually in tears at this place. ebookers made a mistake with our booking and only booked for two adults so the hotel charged us an extra 91euros for a second room we did not use! The room linin was stained and the room had bugs crawling around the bed :(However, if you can cope with all of the above there is a VERY NICE traditional Portuguese restaurants around :)

Unfreundlicher Empfang, der bestätigte Expedia Preis wurde mit großen Unwollen angenommen. Ich bestand aber auf den von mir gebuchten Zimmerpreis. Aber auch dieses Geld war das Hotel nicht wert. Zimmer schrecklich, eher Besenkammer. Nie wieder!!!

A moins de 10 min a pied du centre, cet hotel est assez bien situé dans la ville. Pas de casse tete pour se garer, et en 10 min en voiture on est sur la superbe ile-plage de Faro.
Pour un 2 étoiles, l'hotel offre tout ce qu'on peut attendre pour sa categorie, avec comme points forts une literie confortable, propreté irreprochable, un petit dej qui n'a rien a envier a d'autres hotels de categories superieures, un calme qui permet de se reposer (c'est avant tout pourquoi on y est!!), wifi gratuit au bar, et surtout, un personnel tres competent, serviable, attentionné, disponible : un luxe d'avoir des personnes competentes et honetes a qui se fier.

Pedem uma taxa sobre cães, mas não limpao nem alimentam nem tratam deles, não percebi para que serve a taxa. Também não limpam, no meu quarto a cam fazia tanto barulho que me acordava de noite. O pequeno almoço até mete pena. Paga se, e lá se quisermos um café, temos que pagar à parte... Triste. O típico "fazer o máximo dinheiro com a mínima prestação de serviços!" não recomendo.

The hotel was simple and nice, just like the pictures, but there was ONE huge problem, they LIED! When I rented the room through Travelosity I made sure that I rented a room with Internet (it was on the confirmation email), but when you arrive at the hotel the first thing you do is pay or sign your recite, when went to our room the Internet did not work! What made it worse was when I went to the reception desk to complain he apologized and that was that! When I showed them the confirmation, he apologized again with condescending smile on his face. At the point he new there was nothing I could as I had my family and I had already paid! Find a better hotel that wont lie to their clients!

Das Hotel ist perfekt in Nähe der Innenstadt von Faro gelegen. Mit den Jahren ist das Hotel etwas heruntergekommen, jedoch sind die Zimmer sauber und die Mitarbeiter äußerst freundlich. Von dem Frühstück waren wir auch positiv überrascht. Für den günstigen Preis kann man das Hotel bestens weiterempfehlen!

Zentrum nah, jedoch direkt vor einer Sporthalle, abends bisschen laut.Sehr saubere Zimmer, Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist ok. Personal ist leider nicht sehr hilfreich, wir mussten unsere Bordkarte ausdrucken, das Kunden PC hat nicht funktioniert und andere Möglichkeiten hat man uns nicht angeboten

Det här hotellet ligger i ett trist område och det finns inte mycket att göra i Faro, bo på en av turistorterna istället nära havet exempelvis Lagos eller någon annan trevlig plats.

ont est resté quune seule nuit...difficile de juger ! Mais c’était propre avec sèche cheveux, baignoire :) ...la vue de la chambre pas top mais bon... le plus cest que a létage ou nous étions et je pense que ça doit être la même pour les autres étages, il y a un balcon commun ou on peut y aller, s’asseoir et se poser tranquillement !

Très bon rapport qualité-prix :La chambre nest pas très moderne mais est très propre. Tout le nécessaire y est (y compris un sèche-cheveux).Bien pour une nuit ou deux car proche de laéroport mais pas forcément adapté pour y passer toutes les vacances.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, doch diese war sehr angenehm: wir wurden freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten gemütlich, das Frühstücksangebot vielfältig und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Alles bestens - ich würde dort wieder übernachten.

Für ca. 43 EUR (April 2013) zu zweit war das Hotel okay. Es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Ausstattung und das Gebäude selbst sind schon älter und könnten eine Modernisierung vertragen. Für eine Nacht, wenn man am nächsten Tag weiterreist ist es aber ganz gut - Taxifahrt zum Flughafen kostet ca. 15€, das Zentrum von Faro ist zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Frühstück war nichts besonderes, aber man kann auch im Zentrum frühstücken. Das Personal spricht Englisch.

Wir mussten für einige Tage nach Faro, um einige Dinge zu erledigen.Da wir zuvor einige Jahre dort gelebt haben, weiss ich, dass es sehr viele kleine Pensionen gibt (die fast den gleichen Preis haben wie dieses Hotel), deren Sauberkeit und Komfort extrem zu wünschen übrig lässt.Wir hatten keine grossen Ansprüche, wollten einfach nur ein sauberes Zimmer. Das Alnacir bietet keinen grossen Luxus, aber es fehlt an nichts und sowohl Hotel als auch Zimmer waren stets sauber. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren freundlich und hilsbereit.Vom Hotel aus kann man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss in die Innenstadt bzw zu den Behörden, der Bus zum Flughafen hält auch nur 200 oder 300 Meter vom Hotel entfernt in der Parallelstrasse.Das Frühstückbuffet war relativ übersichtlich, aber für uns absolut ausreichend - unser Highlight: Jeden Morgen frisch gepressten Orangensaft.Der gesamte Zimmerkomfort bekommt jedoch nur ein befriedigend da wir die Matratzen etwas zu hart fanden, genau wie die Kopfkissen (letztere haben wir dann auf Nachfrage gegen Weichere ausgetauscht bekommen).Alles in Allem würde ich das Hotel trotzdem weiterempfehlen.

Muy contentos con el trato recibido en el hotel, por parte de todos los miembros del personal. Muy muy económico, y con desayuno incluido, buena ubicación,... Para ser de dos estrellas no se queda nada corto.

I have stayed with my family in Hotel Alnacir during 4 days. The hotel is beautiful and warm through the simplicity. The atmosphere is awesome with good hospitality.
