Marco, the owner, is really nice and checked in on our table multiple times. However, the food here was really bad. I ordered the Algarve Pork special for €9 and it was not good. It was described by Marco as pork mixed with peppers, onions, and a sauce, but in actuality it was a stew where the meat had clearly been sitting there all day. It was dry, bland, and to be honest the meat tasted dirty. The chips were fried in dirty oil and the rice side was one scoop of plain instant white rice. The salad was ok. I would consider coming back because Marco was cool and I think maybe if I ordered a sandwich or something it might be more successful but overall I was not impressed.

Geweldig.. na 'n wandeling van 2 1|2 uur geluncht. Informeel cafe/rest. vier dagspecials, goed verzorgde heerlijke maaltijden en laag in prijs. Verder snacks en tapa's, heerlijke koffie. Vriendelijk personeel. Aanrader !!!

Um ambiente descontraído e intercultural, comida simples, saborosa e a simpatia genuína do proprietário (Março) faz deste restaurante um sítio imperdível para locais e visitantes. Altamente recomendado!

Restaurante estupendo y económico. Sorprende poder comer tan bien en un pueblo tan pequeño. Platos muy bien presentados y cantidades enormes, acompañadas de arroz, patatas y ensalada. Muy recomendable si pasas por la zona y quieres comer en un sitio barato.

Geht so, Dieses, beim zweiten Mal waren wir enttäuscht. Der gegrillte Schwertfisch war zwar frisch, ebenso das Gemüse. Dem Salat allerdings fehlte, wie so oft in Portugal der Pfiff. Die Mousse war dünnflüssig, der Kuchen nicht mehr frisch.
Eine deutsche Dame bediente uns, Aber sie konnte mit Freundlichkeit leider nicht unser Herz erwärmen.
Wir kommen hier vorbei gefahren wenn wir am Figuera Strand gewesen sind. Nun ja der Ort ist einfach tot. Schade...

Schöne kneipe/restaurant, lecker, preiswert und gut, hab noch nie so ein riesiges Stück Thunfisch auf dem Teller gehabt. Tagesgerichte empfehlenswert. Freundliche Bedienung auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Gute bierauswahl, Wein vermutlich auch. Keine kartenzahlung, Bargeld lacht...

I have eaten at the Caramba many times since Marco took over. Always had good service and reasonably priced meals. When it has been very busy Marco has warned me if there would be a long wait for my meal.

The reason I love this place is simple, it feels a little bit like where time was stalled, proper Portugal. Relaxing, revitalizing, non touristy, chilled people and the food isn't half bad and very reasonably priced. Love it.

Hemos venido a comer en familia porque estuvimos en el zoo.
No le doy un 10 sino un 1000!! Nos encantó, súper buen trato, muy buena la comida y de precio genial! Lo recomiendo 100%

Wir waren schon sehr sehr oft bei Marco, auch mit unseren Freunden und wir waren noch nicht ein Mal enttäuscht!! Es ist immer sehr gemütlich. Der Service ist toll und das Essen (von Mama gekocht) ist immer wieder sehr lecker, zu Preisen die man ohne zu murren gerne bezahlt!! Es ist immer wieder eine Freude bei Marcus zu essen.

The tuna steaks were very fresh and delicious. The grilled chicken was lovely too. Good size portions. Great service and good prices. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place for lunch.

Ristorante molto tranquillo e alla mano, veramente economico e porzioni più che abbondanti. Ogni giorno cambiano le specialità della casa che costano solo 9 euro, consigliatissimo!

Супер место! Очень вкусная и недорогая еда. Огромные порции. На двоих можно брать одно горячее и салат либо закуску. Можно прекрасно поесть за 15 евро на двоих с вином. Хозяин очень внимателен к гостям.

Sono andato con mia moglie a mangiare in questo posto domenica sera, il 10 giugno festa nazionale. Il posto si trova in un paesino in mezzo alla campagna, ha un'atmosfera famigliare e cordiale, cameriera e proprietario accoglienti e disponibili. Abbiamo mangiato due specialità della casa di pesce. Entrambe buone e abbondanti assieme al contorno di verdura e patatine. Il prezzo buono per il servizio ricevuto. Alla fine del pasto ci hanno offerto anche un liquore molto dolce ma è stato un gesto semplice e gentile. Ci siamo trovati bene.

Bardzo sympatyczne miejsce, przemiła obsługa, uważna, szybka. Codziennie kilka dan dnia, wszystko świeże, w cenie 8 euro. Wnętrza bardzo fajne, spiro dekoracji, stoliki na zewnątrz i na piętrze. Darmowe wi-fi. Na zimę kominek. Dla gości gry, książki, czasopisma.

A truly funky little bar in one of the most delightful villages on the western Algarve. Great food, mostly local recipes and very inexpensive. Same applied to the drinks. Great service from family running the place.

In der Caramba Bar kann man preiswert und recht gut essen. Der Ort erinnerte mich an Streifen von Terence Hill und Bud Spencer, im Zwielicht gegen Abend hatte die Caramba Bar irgendwie ein Flair von From Dusk till Dawn. Dies begründete sich an der bunten Mischung an Personal (Auswanderer aus Deutschland) sowie den illustren Gästen. Aussteiger-Atmosphäre, wie ein Vorredner treffend sagte. Interessante Mischung. Einfach mal was anderes und ein Besuch wert. Das Essen ist gut, simpel angerichtet und gut proportioniert. Gutbürgerlich gewissermaßen.

Cualquier plato desde el Sande hasta el Specialidad do día, está hecho de forma casera y súper bueno!!! Los camareros son profesionales y encantadores y el local es un lugar de encuentro entre lugareños y gente de todos sitios.Probad lo camarones,están de muerte!!! It's a off the beaten track where you are likely to find a diverse crowd: you will find a corner table with hippies that made me think about the 60's, and most of the diners are tourists from all over. A couple of portuguese locals seem to bookend the bar stools. The food is quite good and quite affordable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The town is very small and time is kept by the church bells across the narrow, cobbled-stone street. This place seems to be untouched by time. Highly recommend.
