Boa sandes, já o café, na minha opinião, têm margem para melhorar.

Good food at a reasonable price in this village cafe. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast pastry or toastie almost daily as well as a few light lunches over a three week period. They serve bottled beers and draught Super Bock, carafes of wine and really good coffees. What let's it down are the miserable faces of the family that own and work here, despite being regular customers for three weeks I didn't see them smile at customers at all.....and the outside tables desperately need a good clean.

El menjar es bo però és un bar restaurant del que aquí anomenem de "trote". Hi ha molta gent curranta que hi va a dinar o fer entrepans. El servei agradable però la cuina una mica lenta. En general a portugal és va a un altre ritme.

Espetáculo recomenda se pelo atendimento e pelo espaço.

This is the place to go if all you want is an honest no friĺls great value meal. What you get is home cooked food at great prices. The owner does not speak much English so be prepared to use a translator. Otherwise, I cant fault this restaurant for what it is. Open for lunch and sometimes for dinner as well.

Lovely local pub on the market square of Almadena. We all 4 chose the (recommended) Bifana. 4 generous slices of marinated cooked pork on a roll. The pork was beautifully cooked and juicy. Other tables were enjoying grilled chicken accompanied with a pint. Will go back to this place.

Good for a quick and cheap breakfast on the terrace. They don't speak English, and don't accept cards.
