Great guesthouse and awesome hospitality! Super clean, nice rooms (we stayed in the studio) and beautiful backyard with pool. Would definitely go there again! Thanks Celine, Joao and Linda!

Lovely guest house- but our room was very hot at night as there is no AC. We were given a fan on the last night thankfully as we had been bitten by nasty mosquitos the last 2 nights when we had opened our windows. The house was very noisy as well as 2 couples with 2 babies under 1 year old stayed there. We would have appreciated a heads up before the stay as we were awoken several times every night by the babies crying- not so much of a relaxing holiday for us...

The place is soulless, overpriced and the apartment we stayed was literally a basement improvised into apartment. The bedroom does not have any windows and the air is very humid and there is mold.

Celine and João were fantastic hosts during our stay at Anchor House. The place itself is a short 5 minute drive to the nearest surf spot (Arrifana) and a similarly short drive into Aljezur. The decorations are really cool and the outside areas are awesome - we loved being able to have BBQs! Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon with a group of friends to book the whole place out!

Very nice, quiet place. We only had one night there, you could definitely consider spending more time there. It's very laid-back with a big room for all guests as well as a nice garden with a pool.

Einfach super schön. Jedem, der ein Zimmer ergattern kann, ist es zu empfehlen. Ein eigenes Auto ist aber von Vorteil.

The host are amazing and the rooms are nicely designed and tidy. There is a shared kitchen/living room with all the utensils you need and a small pool area to hang out in. Only issue for me was that it was a bit of a way from the beach and it would have been nice to have sea views.

we just loved our stay here. the house is just amazing. everything is done with lots of love. you have everything you need there: well equipped kitchen, a pool, bathroom, cozy bedrooms and lovely hosts. thank you joao and celine for your warm welcome!! we will return!!

Excellent hosts! They are really nice and the guy (I don't remember his name) surfs really well! As I LOVE surfing this was the perfect place to stay. The beaches are easily reachable and the location otherwise clean and comfortable.

Un bel posto! Camere pulite e abbastanza spaziose, ma solo una, se non sbaglio, ha il bagno privato. Le altre usufruiscono di un bagno comune. L'house dispone di un angolo cottura. E' presente anche una zona piscina, abbastanza confortevole. La proprietaria è molto simpatica e ospitale! Consigliato!
