Kletterbegabte und -geübte können den Strand zu Fuß erreichen. Hierfür muss man nur den richtigen Weg finden. Wer ihn nicht entdecken kann, wartet einfach eine Weile, irgendjemand kraxelt bestimmt runter. Und dann einfach hinterher! Ist leichter als es scheint. Nur festes Schuhwerk sollte man anhaben! Wer es geschafft hat, wird mit einem tollen Ausblick belohnt. Wer mehr entdecken möchte, der klettert über eine mannshohe Felswand, durch eine kleine Höhle und findet eine bezaubernde Grotte. Hier sind Aqua-Schuhe von Vorteil, weil man je nach Gezeiten durch Wasser watet. Viel Spaß!

Very nice beach, the footpath is nearly impossible to access therefore is not very visited. Kayak tours are using it for stops from time to time.

Extremely good. Stunning views, beautiful nature, almost no people and you can walk here all the day long and feel the breath of the Atlantic Ocean. I wish I could stay in Lagos for more enjoying beaches

Peciosa playa de Lagos, espectaculares vistas

La spiaggia è veramente bella, un piccolo gioiello. L'accesso è piuttosto agevole, un paio di tratti ripidi e scivolosi ma non esposti e quindi che non presentano rischi. Il butto è il numero impressionante di motoscafi, battelli e anche kayak. Questi ultimi usano la spiaggetta come base di appoggio riempiendola quasi completamente. Le barche a motore sfrecciano a tutta velocità senza rispettare alcuna regola di sicurezza delle distanze di navigazione dalla costa rendendo anche impensabile fare una breve nuotata.

Der Abstieg durch eine schmale Klamm ist mit Flipflops schwierig aber gerade eben machbar. Das ist gut so, denn so hatten wir den kleinen Strand ganz für uns allein. Traumhaft!

Boa praia mas com acesso muito difícil.

The path to the beach looks intimidating, but have no fear...I watched a dainty young thing trip down it in sandals holding a picnic basket in one hand. I was shamed into going down myself...once down, you'll have a nice, picturesque beach nearly all to yourself...

Beautiful secluded beach, with access only by kayak or a dodgy climb down a crevasse in the cliffs. However, because of there was never anyone there the couple of weeks we spent there. I was down early morning for sunrise and up late at night for stargazing and only saw one other person on the beach.

Bien mais trop de monde, ce qui dénature le paysage.

Wunderschöner Strand mit vorgelagertem Torbogen-Felsen. Viel Sand bei Ebbe zum Frisbeespielen. Zum Schwimmen ist dagegen bei Flut besser, wegen des felsigen Untergrundes etwas weiter draußen. 1979 und in der Achtzigern war es noch ein Clothing-optional-Strand. Aus meiner Sicht ist das schade, dass inzwischen die Textil-Fraktion übernommen zu haben scheint. Das dürfte unter anderem an den anlandenden Kajakfahrern liegen, die sich eine der zwei gebuchten Kajakstunden lieber in den Sand legen. Natürlich könnten sie das auch als skinny dipper tun. Vielleicht sollten die es einfach mal probieren und würden danach möglichenweise nie mehr Badebekleidung zum Schwimmen anziehen wollen, wie der Autor. Eine öffentliche und kostenlose Toilette befindet sich oben beim Leuchtturm. 40 Höhenmeter in ca 300 m, in geschätzt drei Minuten erreichbar. Zur Saison gibt es dort auch eine kleine Snackbar mit Kiosk. Bei meinem Besuch im Oktober war allerdings der Fußboden einer der Herrentoiletten überschwemmt. Der Zugang zum Strand ist nicht, wie viele Neulinge glauben, von der Klippenkante. Vielmehr bewegt man sich vom Leuchtturm Richtung Lagos gesehen ganz am Ende des Parkplatzes rechts in eine Senke hinunter und folgt dann dem Gefälle zu einer Mini-Schlucht, gesäumt von Lehmwänden. Viele der Algarve Felsen bestehen teilweise aus bröckeligem Tuffgestein, das aus zusammengebackenen Kalkschalen von Meerestieren, Lehm und Sand besteht. Entsprechend anfällig für Bodenerosion ist dann auch der Abstieg zum Strand. Von Zeit zu Zeit versuchten Einheimische den Weg gangbarer zu machen, indem sie Stufen in den "Fels" gruben und zum Teil mit von Eisenstangen fixierten Holzbrettern sichern. Zurzeit rutscht jeder Zweite aus wegen beweglicher Sandschicht und schürft sich die Haut auf. Beautiful beach with arched rock in front of it. Lots of sand at low tide to play Frisbee. For swimming the tide is better, because of the rocky underground a little further outside. In 1979 and in the eighties it was still a clothing optional beach. From my point of view it is a pity that the textile group seems to have taken over in the meantime. This might be partly due to the kayakers landing at the beach, who prefer to lay down one of the booked two kayak lessons in the sand. Of course they could also do that as skinny dippers. Maybe they should just give it a try and would probably nevermore want to use swimwear, like the author did. There is a public and free toilet up by the lighthouse. 40 meters altitude in about 300 m, reachable in about three minutes. During the season there is also a small snack bar with kiosk. The access to the beach is not, as many newcomers believe, from the edge of the cliff. Rather, one moves from the lighthouse towards Lagos, seen at the very end of the parking lot, down to the right into a depression and then follows the gradient to a mini gorge, lined with mud walls. Many of the Algarve's cliffs are made of crumbly tufa rock, which consists of baked limestone seashells of marine life, clay and sand. The descent to the beach is also susceptible to soil erosion. From time to time locals probably try to make the way more passable by digging steps into the "rock" and partly securing them with wooden boards fixed with iron rods. Every second try ends with skin scratches nowadays.

Tiene una llegada más complicada entre las piedras a diferencia de otras playas de Lagos, pero lo vale.

Incredible small sheltered beach. Very difficult to access via a narrow crack in the cliff. Wear shoes with grip or go barefoot. Totally worth the climb down though.

Nice and a little remote beach, it's not that easy to get there but it's worth it, make sure you're wearing trainers tho because you won't be able to climd down there in flipflops

A praia é muito bonito fica em frente a uma rocha que parece um balança. Para lá chegar desde o caminho da ponta da piedade não é muito fácil principalmente para crianças. Mas é muito bonito e está quase vazia enquanto o Camilo se enche de gente.

Magnifique, un peu compliquée d'accès (à éviter tongs ou sandales) un peu trop de kayaks/bateaux de ballades touristiques mais parfaite pour profiter du soleil hors des plages surpeuplées

Sin duda alguna, esta es de mis preferidas del Algarve, si digo que he quedado enamorada de ella es poco, amo el agua y las playas vírgenes, y esta es una de ellas. Jamás olvidaré cuando la vi desde arriba... dije ahí tengo que bajar yo!! Un auténtico paraíso, donde todas las personas no pueden llegar andando por el camino vertiginoso que ahi que bajar.Un camino estrecho en el cual ahí que ir con las manos sujetándose, como un monillo más o menos. Para mi no fue dificil, pero no está al alcance de todos. La visitan en barcos y kayaks, que es la otra manera de llegar. Aunque parece peligroso el camino no lo es, se puede bajar sin peligro. Es una maravilla está cala!!

Tiny, great beach. Beware the hike down is not easy, recommend either hiking shoes, sneakers, or paradoxically, go barefoot.

Beautiful beach, a scramble down from the path above. Note that there are no stairs to this beach, the photos are wrong. When you do get there the place is lovely. However it is also beset with kayak tours in the afternoon, making it quite overcrowded. It's well worth a visit but try to avoid the kayaks.

All I can say is WOW. If you are able, worth the climb down the crevice for the most incredible sunrise. Not a soul in sight.

Great beach with cliffs. Very small, gets full of kayaking tours. It's a littlebit bit difficult to get down to it. Not recommended for children or elders.

Leider ist am Abgrund kein Geländer vorhanden. Verdammt gefährlich für kleine Kinder. Eltern werden verstehen was ich meine ;-)

Well, check out the pictures! It's hard to get there. You have to find your way down a fissure to get to the beach. But what you find is worth it ... This is not recommended for little children or elderly.

Preciosa playa pero el acceso no recomendable para niños o personas mayores muy complicado

La spiaggia più bella nelle vicinanze di Lagos, solo un po' complicata da raggiungere. Innanzi tutto il percorso non è segnalato, circa 200 metri prima del faro dovrete prendere un sentiero sulla sinistra. Il sentiero inizierà a scendere fino ad arrivare ad una 'strettoria' molto ripida tra le rocce. Anche se dall'alto non si vede la fine del sentiero questo è l'unico modo per raggiungere la spiaggia a piedi. Mettete assolutamente le scarpe perchè l'ultimo pezzo del sentiero è molto ripido e scivoloso, in alcuni tratti dovrete arrampicarvi. A parte questa fatica ne vale assolutamente la pena. Nella spiaggia troverete pochissime persone (anche di domenica) e dal mare potrete arrivare ad una sacco di calette/grotte/scogli. Ovviamente non esistono bar o servizi sulla spiaggia. Unica pecca sono i turisti che fanno i tour in kayak, tutti i tour infatti fanno sosta di circa 30 minuti sulla spiaggia, in alcuni momenti può diventare quindi improvvisamente affollata.

Simplemente bella cala,el acceso es una pequeña aventura.

Preciosa y recomendada cala . El acceso a ella parece complicado pero se puede hacer y merece la pena . Yo fui con mis dos perros y sin problema.

Niedlich kleine Bucht mit einem nicht so leichten Zugang. Der Abstieg und Aufstieg ist schon nicht ganz einfach. Man braucht beide Hände frei und sollte keine Angst vor Höhe haben. Aber wenn man es dann geschafft hat ist die Anstrengung schnell verflogen. Die Liegeplätze sind recht wenig da es wirklich nur ein kleiner Strand ist. Aber dafür hat er eine traumhafte Kulisse. Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung.

Spiaggia bellissima e tranquilla ma difficile da raggiungere, ma ne vale la pena!

Über eine Schlucht zu erreichen. Nichts für kleine Kinder und Menschen, die nicht klettern können oder wollen. Flipflops geht, aber besser sind Schuhe, die Halt geben. Einsamer Strand. Bei hohem Wasserstand kein trockener Sand. Offen zum Meer, daher baden je nach Wellengang nicht ganz ungefährlich.

Bonita playa, agua demasiada fria.

Tremenda playa. Sin escaleras. Un estrecho desfiladero de 40m. Lo bajamos con dos niños pequeños y cargados de trastos. Asusta pero puede hacerse.

Buena playa! lastima que no haya escaleras lo que dificulta su acceso, pero merece la pena!

N'hésitez pas à faire un tour en bateau pour visiter les plages de Lagos avec toutes ces arches de pierre faites par la nature une vraie cathédrale naturel.
