Best meal I've had in Portugal so far. Friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Delicious fresh food. After a 6 hour hike, it was exactly what I needed. I'll be back tomorrow!

Una pasada !!!! Un descubrimiento. En mitad de la nada comida de calidad, novedosa y un trato increíble, además el local es muy agradable. Uno de los chicos que lo lleva, nos recomendó que comer, que vino tomar.... Genial !

Ceviche was chopped into coarse ️ pieces, no sweet potatoes were served different than described in the menu.
After, we ordered the main dish we heard a microwave bell ringing twice, so we knew nothing good would follow... Tasted like my leftover rice, with soya sauce and some rubber like calamari rings.
Never again! Thanks

La cucina peruviana è una delle più ricche e buone del mondo e questo locale, in un'oasi di tranquillità, lo conferma. Pesce freschissimo, porzioni molto abbondanti, prezzi economici. Una stella in meno per il servizio approssimativo

Muy acogedor. Con opciones vegan. Estaba rico pero nos pareció un poco caro. Está escondidillo pero con el GPS se llega sin problemas.

Arriviamo alle 22.05 e la cameriera ci guarda male, avvisandoci che la cucina è già chiusa in quanto il servizio era giusto fino alle 22.00 (su Google l'orario di apertura è fino alle 23.45). A parte non aver mai visto in vita mia la cucina di un ristorante, se si può definire tale, lavorare dalle 18.30 alle 22.00, ci sono maniere e maniere di rispondere a un cliente. Me ne sono andato sgommando nel giardino, il quale, spero aver abbellito anche se servirebbe un miracolo per farlo.

La cocina cierra a las 10 p.m. .. bueno, lo puedo entender. Lo que nos molestó mucho son las maneras en la que la camarera nos trató. Llegamos a las 10.05pm y le dije: "hola! Para 2 por favor?" Se quedó mirándonos súper seria y nos dice "no.. si la cocina cierra a las 10". Los platos se veían buenos y el lugR tenía buenas opiniones pero no volvería.

Das war leider nix. Der Küche ist das Fleisch ausgegangen, das Essen wurde zum Teil kalt an den Tisch gebracht und leider konnte die Familie auch nicht gemeinsam speisen.
Die Lokation ist sehr schön, abseits vom Touristen Rummel. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und das Essen auch lecker aber wenn einem mal das Fleisch ausgeht oder ähnliches dann sollte man mit einem kostenlosen Kaffee oder einem Nachtisch auf Kosten des Hauses kontern (ohne Aufforderung).
Ich gebe La Preferida noch eine Chance, wenn das Bargeld langt, weil Kartenzahlung ist ja leider nicht möglich, aber mein erster Besuch war leider nix.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. It's a hidden gem with a laid back vibe. The food we had was incredible and the service was great too. We hope to go back again soon!

great location and restaurant. very tranquil and unique. homely cooked food with great presentation. good choice of fish and seafood. meat veg rice and potato was lovely and slightly salty. burrito was delicious. loved the outdoor area with football table and hammocks. CASH ONLY but there is a atm close by

Really cool people there, sometimes the waiter is a bit confused, but he is the surfer-type so don't be too stiff.
The ambience is really cosy and homely. The dishes and drinks are good in my experience but I could see that the quality maybe fluctuating.
It is unique in it's approach and resonates really well with me, so therefore 5 stars.

Sorry,total disappointment.
At the begining we have ordered water with gas and lemon and after a while waitress brought us a water without gas and without lemon but after our complain it was changed.
For a main dish we took grilled octopus and as a starter cebiche Nikkimi with tuna. The waitress forgot about cebiche so we had the main dish first. It's written in the menu that this dish should be for two persons but the portion is too small and in my opinion it is just for one... The octopus was grilled too lightly and it was tasting like gum. After reminding 2 times came cebiche dish which was also small and there was no sweet potatoes as it was supposed to include. The meals are served without the plates on the table.We came there to taste Peruvian food but it was a big and quite expensive for us mistake.

Es lohnt sich sicherlich die peruanische Küche mal zu probieren. Wir hatten nur ein Gericht - gegrillten Octopus. Der war ganz okay. Bedienung und Service sehr nett. Werden wir noch mal vorbeischauen.

O arroz era muito bom. Atendimentosimpático.
No entanto não tem multibanco pelo que no fim da refeição tive de me deslocar de carro a um ATM e voltar. E um chá custou 9€ , quase o mesmo que um prato principal.

Well off the beaten track, but a homely setting and super friendly staff. We only stayed for starters - ceviche and pata relleno. Both were fantastic.

This is a true gem! The food is a blast, the place feels like warm and very welcoming hascienda and the staff does care in a very friendly way. If you discover this do not hesitate and join this experience!
