Nice staff but the food is not worth the money. Used to be a really good restaurant but now they need to upgrade to the quality they once had.

Super und im Vergleich zu einem Nachbarn überirdisch!
Wir hatten die Auberginen als Vorspeise. Als Hauptgerichte Fisch mit Scampis und Risotto mit Schwertfisch und Chicken Tagine. Las Dessert rundeten daa und Tiramisu und der Schokoladenkuchen und das Special Dessert ab 18(letzter Punkt auf der Karte) inkl. einer Kombination aus Kaffee- und Eierlikör das Mahl ab.
Zu trinken gab's Rotwein und weißen und roten Sangria.
Wir haben das Restaurant auch bereits Vorort weiter empfohlen! Gern wieder!

Ambiente delicioso com comida saborosa. Experimentei a Cataplana, prato típico da região, e estava espetacular.
O atendimento também merece destaque ... Aqui tudo mundo quer que você se sinta em casa.
Para finalizar, mousse de manga. Imperdível!! Nunca comi uma como esta.
Resumido: este é um daqueles restaurantes para voltar várias vezes até saborear todos os pratos do menu.

Super lekker gegeten! We zochten iets met vis en rijst en kwamen op de menukaart van Sal 2 mooie risottos tegen. Allebei heerlijk en toch zo verschillend. De zeevruchten waren vol schelpdieren en prachtig gegaarde garnalen en mossels. De risotto met Bacalhau was goed gevuld en heerlijk op smaak en prachtig gegarneerd met krokantjes. We kregen een perfect wijnadvies van de uitgebreide kaart die paste bij onze prijs maar vooral bij de gerechten. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en kundig en gepassioneerd over zijn restaurant en met hem kwamen we ook nog op heerlijke desserts die het tot een perfecte avond maakte. Obrigado!

We were asked to leave the restaurant because we sat down at a table for four people. Later, for a long time no one was sitting there, so I completely do not understand the policy of the restaurant.

And again, if you do not wanna order a whole dinner, you are going to be asked to go out, although there are many tables unoccupied. The waiter started the conversation with the question "What?" and was rather rude.

The worst service ever!!
It took almost 2 hours to get our food even though we were amongst the first ones to order!
No understanding at all from the staff to why we were so upset!
Would NOT recommend anyone to go there!!!

Gostei muito, boa escolha de pratos, todos muito bem confeccionados e os funcionários muito bem dispostos, atenciosos e profissionais.

Wir waren heute Abend draußen auf der Terrasse essen. Man hat einen super Ausblick auf die daneben laufenden Menschen und damit immer etwas zu sehen und zu entdecken. Der Service war super freundlich und schnell.
Das Essen war lecker, aber eher eine kleine Portion. Man sollte vorher eine Vorspeise genießen.
Die Nachspeisen sind sehr zu empfehlen und werden schön aufgetischt.
Wir waren rund um zufrieden.

Great food! A modern take on classic Portuguese cuisine. Very well executed and presented. The service was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable waiter, that knew how to explain the dishes and wines.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und ein gemütliches Ambiente im Sommer. Essen kommt relativ schnell und ist auch sehr gut. Haben viel traditionelle portugiesische Gerichte. Es ist Kartenzahlung möglich. Mit einer größeren Gruppe dort zu essen wird er schwieriger, da viele Einzeltische dort stehen.

Lo peor que he experimentado! Doy un punto porque no se puede menos. Estuvimos esperando una hora y media por la comida y cuando preguntamos qué pasaba, el mesero dijo que no nos quejaramos, que había gente que llevaba esperando más tiempo aún. Entonces pedimos la cuenta por las bebidas consumidas para irnos sin cenar, a las 10 y media de la noche y ahí sí, el o inmediatamente nos trajo la cuenta... o sea, después de una hora y media, ni siquiera habían empezado a preparar nuestros plato. Pasamos un mal rato, el personal muy desagradable, no recomiendo ir.

Great place in the center of Lagos. We had the seafood risotto, the greek salad and the fried calamaris. Every dish was wonderful.

Very generous portions would recommend the swordfish and the chicken with almond breadcrumbs. Just a long wait but we didn t mind too much. Very professional staff and they warned us about the wait.

Excellent in every aspect: the staff is professional and kind, the place is simple but beautiful inside and outside. They care a lot about the service. We had dinner two times, all very good: but if you like tunafish, try that, simply extraordinary! Good price for this quality. Thank to the staff for pleasant moments

Overall it was a very good dinner and I'd recommend the place. Food, service and ambiance were all good, but they could be better, therefore I'm giving 4 stars. Food: well cooked but both the soup and the risotto would be easier to eat if the greens were chopped a bit smaller. Service: waitress was very polite but it felt a bit stiff. Ambiance: decoration was very nice in a cozy cottage style but the square tables had low beams that made it impossible to cross your legs. Portions were quite generous. As a solo dinner my favorite part was the background music, they had all sorts of classics from the 60s to 90s.

Wir sind hier gelandet, da die google maps Rezensionen gut klangen und die Karte mal nicht nur Standardfisch enthielt.
Zuallerst bestellten wir das Chef Couvert mit Oliven, Sardinenpaste, Brot und Schafskäse. Sehr zu empfehlen! Auch wenn der Schafskäse natürlich von der Kuh ist ;)
Als Hauptgang bestellten wir Bacalhao-Risotto (14 Euro) und Apfel-Huhn-Risotto (14 Euro). Beides mal was anderes.
Während das Bacalhao-Risotto erstaunlich viel Fisch mit starkem Eigenduft und -Geschmack enthielt, war das Risotto nicht wirklich gleichmäßig durch. Manche Stellen waren absolut perfekt, wie man es aus Italien kennt, andere wiederum etwas zu hart oder zu weich. Außerdem gab es einige Gräten vom Bacalhao.
Das Apfel-Huhn-Risotto war eine interessante Kombination, insbesondere mit Zimt, die uns beiden nicht so richtig gefiel. Zu viele Gewürznuancen...
Insgesamt daher 4 Sterne, auch wenn wir gerne noch weitere Gerichte probiert hätten. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Desserts am anderen Tisch sahen sehr lecker aus.

A very nice place with some great dishes and service. Try the ossobuco, porchetta and tiramisú. I am not giving it a 5 star review because the tomatoes in the salad werent ripe and the rice that came with the ossobuco was a tad undercooked, otherwise one of the best places in the South.

Service appalling. Went there twice, returned only because the food was excellent the first night (got the pork and the carbonara). Second trip really highlighted the poor service and the food could not make up for it this time (got the tagine and the seafood resotto which were nice, but overshadowed..)

I was only in Lagos for 3 days, and have eaten here twice. I walked the streets of downtown Lagos multiple times looking for food, however most places are very common with what they serve.
I passed this place a second time when I decided on one dish which you wouldn't find anywhere else, and the octopus had was so amazingly fresh. The service is so good with very friendly staff, and in general there is a great atmosphere here.
After eating here the first time I told them I'd be back the following day. Try the Chefs Couvert for starters which is a mixture of bread, vinegar & olive oil, paté and olives. I highly recommend eating here!

Fantastisches Essen direkt in der Altstadt von Lagos. Der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Gerichte von sehr hoher Qualität (die Desserts nicht verpassen). Die "Terrasse" ist besonders schön, da man hier dem Trubel der kleinen Altstadt folgen kann. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We had lamb shank slow cooked and osso bucco stewed in port. Both excellent and only 15 euro's . Good wines and even a special request winecellar list. Beautiful decor inside.
