It was handled very professionall from the first second until the end. I can highly recommend the guys from Skydive Algarve if you ever think about jumping out of a plane ✈.

Cadeau de mon fils pour mon 62e anniversaire, me voila entre les mains de Patrick de Carvalho Pinto comme instructeur. Apres un brief en bonne et due forme, nous embarquons enfin dans le grand Caravan pour une montee au dessus d'Alvor et de son incroyable lagune, direction 15k pieds! La porte s'ouvre enfin et se devoile une vue a couper le souffle ! Le vent s'engouffre dans l'habitacle, nous nous dirigeons enfin vers la porte et plouf ! Le grand saut. Une experience incroyable avec un instructeur de grande qualite qui aura su me mettre en confiance et faire taire toutes craintes ! Merci Skydive Algarve et merci Pat pour ce bon moment !

My daughter took the plunge......tandem first ever sky dive. Excellent! Staff all friendly and efficient, especially the tandem tutor. Would highly recommend this experience. In fact I will probably have a go myself next time we come to Luz.

This is one of my fav dropzones ive visited so far.... Live it here , polite and keen staff , i will return again and again .... And again.... If you havent ever skydived and want to , and are in alvor , or close.... Get there , go jump , tick that bucket list box

Good jumping spot when trying to build up jump numbers. Probably not ideal for student jumpers as coaching packages can be expensive, and the dropzone can be quite picky about the weather compared to UK dropzones.

I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for an awesome skydiving experience! It was my first time skydiving, and it won’t be my last! My instructor Patrick was absolutely amazing and made sure that I was having fun (despite the nervousness) the entire time, and Emily (photographer) captured some incredible shots! I gave 4 stars because of an administrative error - they did not contact me to come later due to delays, and I had to wait almost 2 hours before I was able to jump. They had called everyone else.

The highly aggressive engine noise can be heard many kilometres away, for example as far as Bordeira and Monchique. And that almost without interruption throughout the day. For me it is unbelievable that such a noise nuisance of many thousands of people by a few is permissible. Português: Nos últimos dois anos, durante as minhas semanas de férias na Algarve, fiquei extremamente aborrecido com as pequenas máquinas desportivas dos fornecedores de pára-quedismo e aerobatic. O ruído muito agressivo do motor pode ser ouvido a muitos quilómetros de distância, por exemplo, até Bordeira e Monchique. E que todo o dia quase sem interrupção. Para mim é inacreditável que um tal incómodo sonoro de muitos milhares de pessoas por poucos seja admissível. Français : Ces deux dernières années, pendant mes semaines de vacances en Algarve, j'ai été extrêmement ennuyé par les petites machines sportives des fournisseurs de parachutisme et d'Aerobatic. After their local competitor let me down by being closed even though i had booked a jump and paid deposit I went to Skydive Algarve (they were 5 meters from the other one). Had a great day there doing my first ever tandem skydive. Really enjoyed it, the team (especially Nuno) and the equipment was professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone. (On the negative side I feel that the photo package is a bit expensive, but I guess it's quite subjective.)

I can’t recommend Skydive Algarve highly enough. Superb help from booking and accommodation to great admin and manifest. These people know very well what they are doing and they are doing it really well! We went there for a tandem jump (six persons) and everything went smoothly from end to end. We had a small video briefing about the jump, met our jumping instructors and cameraman (muito obrigado Patrick & Junior !!) and then waited for our turn to jump. Great jump, great video, great photos. If you ever happen to be in the south of Portugal and fancy a bit of an adrenaline rush, swing by Skidive Algarve, you will not regret it.

Flying close to house at 8:30 in the morning. Everyday. Same yellow plane flies sideways over all the house by the Penina. Every bloody day. No courtesy for residents.

I had been here for a tandem skydive jump 15k ft high, It was an amazing experience, with beautiful views of algarve. I fear heights, but this did not deter me, I knew I had to overcome it. The instructors and the staff explained me the instructions very well and helped me with the prep talk to overcome the initial fear. I strongly recommend tandem jump at this place, it would be one of the best experience that you will add to your life.

The staff are really courteous and explained everything well. The instructor was quite friendly and helped remove the slight fear I had before the jump. The view from the sky was amazing. Will definitely recommend it.

Update Monte Judeu: Hoje ouviram-se alguns aviões mas com interrupções e à excepção de 1 entre as 16 e as 17 que sobrevoou habitações os aviões respeitaram mais as pessoas que aqui moram voando mais ao longe por isso hoje levam 4 estrelas. Se fosse sempre assim aqui e houvesse o mesmo respeito que houve hoje nos outros dias ninguém se queixava.

World class load organizing and a ton of skydivers from all over Europe. They operate with a Dornier and 2 C208 caravan So you get as many jumps as you like per day. Barulho insuportável dos aviões todos os dias na urbanização do Monte Judeu, aviões passam sem interrupções nos arredores.

Terrorizing the region of Monte Judeu with daily permanent noise from flights. we invite you to come live here with over 60 flights passing over your head every single day, I guarantee that you would not be able to spend a single day here. I have been living in Monte Judeu since 93 with some of my neighbors moving here in the 80's and remember when the flights were first launched and never did I look above my head while outside my home and saw a single airplane above me as it is now ever single day. And this is not some exceptional behavior but it became a very real routine. There is no consideration for the people who live here we are permanently being "flight bombed" from 9 AM. The only acceptable measures would be to change your routes to not fly above people's heads every single day everything else is not acceptable.

Estas companhias sobrevoam diariamente (incluindo feriados e domingos) de manhã até à noite zonas com populações com aviões ruidosos que ultrapassam muitas vezes os decibeis admitidos e continuamente desrespeitam a altitude regulamentada. Estão a ser coleccionados registos de tudo o que aqui está afirmado e serão redireccionados para a ANAC no início do próximo ano. Tem se tornado intolerável nas zonas do Monte Judeu e arredores de estar sequer em casa com as janelas e portas fechadas tal é o barulho, não se pode mais sair para o jardim ou cuidar da casa o barulho é tanto que chega a causar danos psicológicos crónicos (comprovados em atestado médico). Recusam-se a mudar de rota quando tudo o que seria necessário é respeitarem a altitude e pararem de literalmente sobrevoar as casas e escolherem fazer um arco maior para não passarem por cima das nossas casas no entanto os pedidos continuamente são ignorados. A cada dia que passa são feitos 50, 60 e mais registos de barulho cada vez que um avião vosso passa imagine-se viver num local em que ao dia passam 60 vezes com barulho por cima das vossas cabeas. A situação foi reclamada várias vezes incluindo em pessoa sem qualquer alteração no comportamento. Agora o barulho já se começa a estender pela zona das barragens (Lagos) e em Silves na serra. Esta situação não é aceitável. Deixo aqui o meu depoimento escrito como mais uma prova de que houve comunicações para com as empresas responsáveis e que estas continuamente decidem infringir os nossos direitos enquanto moradores. Seria fácil remediar a situação se parassem de sobrevoar todos os dias sempre directamente por cima das casas (não é ao lado é literalmente por cima) mas infelizmente os nossos pedidos são ignorados novamente assim teremos de recorrer à via legal.

Quand il s’agit d’une erreur de leur part , ils sont incapable de dédommager un client. J’ai pris un saut avec caméra et ma vidéo à sois disant « cracher ». j’ai donc aucune vidéo de mon premier saut. Sans parler de l’attente .Moi et mes amis étaient censé passer à 10h30 et nous sommes passés à 13h30. Je suis passé en dernier pendant que mes amis sont passer 2 heure avant moi.

I can’t say enough good things about them! They are super nice and make you feel completely at ease, which is no small feet considering you are jumping off a plane with them haha. I seriously recommend them, they are extremely profesional and the equipment and facilities are top notch and well cared for.

Was a great first experience! Unfortunately we initially had to keep rescheduling for about 2 days due to weather conditions, but that obviously has nothing to do with "Skydive Algarve" they can't exactly change the forecast :), they were always quick to help us reschedule and would keep you updated. It was defintely worth the wait! And would definitely go again! :D The instructors were very friendly, laid back and mess with you quite a lot lol (I mean they've got to find a way to keep it fun). P.s would definitely recommend getting both the handycam and the external (the scenery is very different in both, with the videos and pictures for later I mean). Thank you guys for the great time!

Una zona estupenda para saltar. En mi caso como paracaidista puedo indicar a los compañeros que tienen grandes aviones como carvan o dornier que suben rápidamente a los 15.000pies Las vista son espectaculares con la costa de fondo. El tráfico se hace muy cómodo sobre unos campos de golf y la zona de aterrizaje es grande con taxi de vuelta al hangar. Los que hagan tándem podrán disfrutar de todo este deporte sin preocuparse de hacer nada al contar con grandes profesionales que realizan numerosos saltos al día. les puedo recomendar está zona frente a la otra que hay en el aeródromo ;)

Great place the staff are helpful and friendly and the lift turnarounds are speedy most of the time the packers taught me a few good tips and the instructors there are great and gave pointers and made sure that we knew the landing patterns and explained everything we needed to know well. Will definitely be going back for a third time when I can!

Very good place for skydive. We used cesna caravan. 13 minutes to 4400 meters. Beautiful views. When you jump you see the coast and the ocean. Landing area is normal but have high grass. Some times you don't understand what is under your feet. If you write to skydive Algarve they will help you with car rent in the airport. Take your own rig, because the smallest size they have in rent, is 170. From the city center 15-17 minutes by car. Hou can jump with tubes as we did. Amazing place for wingsuit flying. Dropzone has a very good and cheap restaurant. It doesn't have hotel, but you can find lots of it around. Staff is one of the best I have met.

We were a group of 4 first time divers. And it was an excellent experience. The place was really professional and made us comfortable amid all the apprehensions we had. The instructors were really good and helped us maximise the excitement of our first dive. Would definitely recommend this place

"As usual, it was excellent. It's my favorite DZ. All the staff is very friendly and professional. However, I regret to inform that the landing area number 2 does not reflect the quality and values of the company. To improve the safety of all skydivers, I suggest that landing area 2 should be improved. The vegetation should be cut throughout the area as it is very high. The ground should be arranged, making it more plan and grass laid. Another suggestion, it would be nice to have a watch in Hangar 2 so as to keep track of time. (I believe this will be rather simpler to solve)"

Very beautiful place for skydiving (especially from 4000 meters above), usually good weather, BPA-partnered site, fast lift to exit height, friendly crew. Only minus is ticket price - a bit too expensive. Overall I recommend this place. Especially during winter in Europe.

Spent a week here first week in October last year. Weather was a perfect 30 C everyday. Loads of hanger space, loads of instructors to work on progression stuff. Wife was happy being a Skydive widow being left on Alvor, plenty to do and beautiful part of Portugal! Can't wait to go back :)

Great Drop zone for a wide variety of skydivers. From experienced to Tandems. I completed my AFF here and was impressed throughout. They run a slick operation and have a clear focus on safety. The Instructors were experienced, knowledgable and friendly. The place had a good vibe and decent aircraft. Not to mention the view over the coast line is stunning.

Review 2017 1*: It is impressive, how a business can change in about 12 month. When the old chief instructor (Milko Hodgkinson) ran the business, it was immaculate. Caring, anticipating, polite,... It was just some how you were treated and how smoothly things ran. That changed by 180 degrees. Just attended the Christmas Boogie and we can't with a group of over 40 people because we knew that this place WAS awesome. They had 3 airplanes for over 350 people with such bad organizing skills that some people were only able to get into the air once during a perfect day. Opening late, postponing loads for other people, not having enough LOs to get groups together into the air, no organization in packing so your rig would not be packed for over an hour while others that just landed were packed right away.... Imagine the anger for taking precious vacation days and blowing them on a crappy organized boogie that. If they don't change a lot about this place, we will not come here again. Best advice I can offer: get Milko back! Review 2016 5*: One of the smaller drop zones but one of the best. Sian and Milko run a great operation here: for tandems, first time jumpers or professional skydivers. Usually with a DO and for Christmas and Spring Boogie several, it is a very nice DZ with a vast landing area. I can't recall another DZ that has welcomed people so heartily and nice as these two have. Double thumbs up !

Professional, fun, safe. The operation is here is super slick, very well organised and inspires you with confidence. Right from the beginning the friendly staff make you feel taken care of whilst getting paperwork and safety briefings done, then really help you enjoy the experience of gearing up, getting to the aircraft, flying up and getting you to the door. I did a tandem dive and was very impressed with the outfit, clearly they invest in their staff, equipment and aircraft to make it a top notch experience. Well worth the cost.

First jump ever, the staff where so professional and great at easing any fears we had. Top spot and would recommend to all.

It was amazing. The staff is super friendly and the views are breathtaking. Junior was my tandem instructor and we had an amazing time. By far the best Skydive experience I could have asked for. If you are in Algarve make sure you give it a try and you will be coming back again and again!

My tandem jump with Skydive Algarve was on 8th October 2017. We flew to 14,000 feet before embarking on probably the greatest moment of our lives. I screamed all the way down but the view is something I'll never forget. Maud, my instructor and Junior, my Boyfriend's instructor, were brilliant all the way up and down. Thanks again, guys for an amazing experience!!! If you are thinking of Skydiving, I would really recommend Skydive Algarve.

Wir haben dem Treiben am Flugplatz und bei Skydive Algarve eine Stunde lang zugesehen und waren begeistert. Trotz viel Betrieb mit mehreren Absetzmaschinen und sehr vielen Springern lief alles sehr ruhig ab und wir sahen nur zufriedene Gesichter. Laut Aushang gibt es Tandemsprünge unter 200 EUR, leider hatten wir nicht mehr Zeit zur Verfügung. Schade, aber wir kommen wieder!

Wow!! An incredible experience from start to finish! If you are going to do a tandem then this is definitely the place to do it. When I arrived I was put at ease straight away and thats how the experienced stayed. Of course jumping out of a plane at 14000ft is pretty scary but actually the scariest thing was signing the form. Once that was done they made sure that I enjoyed the best experience and made sure I took it all it. The instructors were fab and the experience was exhilarating! And the views from up there are amazing! Top marks to a top team. Definitely heading back there Thanks guys (6 stars if I could give them)

Great DZ. Same "family like" feeling as at their SisterDZ in Spain near Seville. The lovely people there even made my GF feel so confident to go for a Tandem Jump. Grand Crew there. Highly recommendable.

What an experience! Truly amazing doing a tandem skydive at Skydive Algarve in Portugal. The Alvor coastline looks spectacular from 14,000ft! Thanks to my fabulous instructors Jimmy and Maud! I'll be back!

I recently did a tandem Skydive here! It is definitely a must do when you're visiting the Algarve! You jump right above Alvor beach which is a beautiful view! I love Portugal and I LOVE Skydive Algarve!

I have done 3 tandem jumps at Skydive Alvor and have to say I loved every one.The staff are fabulous and very professional. I can't wait to do my 4th in August!

I did a tandem Skydive at Skydive Algarve in Portugal and loved it so much I went back again to repeat it! Jumping from 14,000ft there's an outstanding view of the Alvor Bay which is undoubtedly one of the prettiest areas of the Algarve. The team there are all fantastic! I'll definitely be going back for more!

A great parachute centre with friendly multilingual staff who can assist experienced skydivers or first timers. The aircraft fly to 15000' in 15 minutes or less with stunning views over the area and the beach.
