Ein kleiner Bahnhof auf der Strecke Lagos - Faro. Ein schönes Gebäude mit klassischen Kacheln innen und aussen verziert. Es gibt eine kleine Bar, und einen Wartebereich mit Sitzplätzen. Die Tickets können am Schalter gekauft werden.

It's a small station with small cafes nearby. You might have to call the uber or take a taxi to go to other places because there's no public transport near by. There was no bus at the bus station at 6pm which is near the station parking lot

Entrada pelo mar com uma baía maravilhosa, nem parecia o meu Portugal. A estação de comboio deveria ser melhorada a nível de sinalética. Quando lá estive recentemente, perdi um bocado qual a linha que apanharia o comboio.

Netter kleiner Bahnhof mit einem Serviceschalter bei dem einem kompetent und gut verständlich geholfen wird! Der Baustil ist typisch für diese Region und hat schon fast etwas von Historisch!

This is a recently modernised two platform station. There is a staffed ticket office and indoor waiting room. The platforms are 'high' platforms but access to trains for those less mobile still involves a couple steps into the train itself. The way to and from the eastbound platform is via a flat crossing over the tracks. A small café-bar occupies part of the main building. The station has a public address system which is used to announce the arrival (and delay!) of trains.

Really good. They can speak English and can supply you with a nice printed time table. Days are numbered from 1 in Portugal with 1 being Sunday don,t get confused, Sabath is Saturday. Cost is only 6Euro to Faro station where a bus to Airport is about 2 Eu or just get a cheaper taxi than whole way from Portimao. What ever you do DONT trust the shuttle mini bus as they will just dump you in the middle of nowhere, they subcontract to a company called greenbus wait time up to 2 hours at airport.... avoid avoid.

Finalmente aconteceu. Subimos o Arade, com partida de Portimão e chegada a Silves e com direito a despedida no cais, tal como em tempos passados, por dois grandes amigos; a Anabela e o Veríssimo. Na “Barca do Arade” com Mestre João Venâncio e as explicações da infatigável Susi. Este percurso de 1 hora é um recordar da vida deste rio que outrora foi de importância vital para Silves e das populações que vivem junto ao Rio Arade. Simbólica a paragem junto à Imagem de Santo António na margem esquerda do rio, na Rocha de Garcia, onde os habitantes da Mexilhoeira da Carregação a colocaram para protecção dos seus Pescadores. A chegada a Silves, por rio, foi uma nova descoberta.

Dit station was vroeger zeker bijzonder, tegenwoordig oud en slecht onderhouden. Omgeving is smerig. Ligt ver van het centrum en strand.
