Vriendelijk team Engels sprekend. Goede bediening. Heerlijk eten vooral vis gerechten.(cataplana) Ook Portugese gerechten. Een aanrader.

A very nice restaurant. Great variety of food, wine and desserts. Very nice staff and great service. I also enjoyed the design of the whole restaurant. I will come back soon!

Très bon restaurant, les produits sont frais et les plats ne sont pas préparés d avance (ce qui explique un peu d attente), c est donc une valeur sûre. De plus, les patrons sont accueillants !

Pessimo atendimento.
Chegamos ao 12 para almocar. Empregados estava sentados a almoçar e esperamos 10 min ate levarem o menu , passado outros 10 min ninguem apareceu para tirar pedido.
Levamtamos e fomos para outro lado gastar o nosso dinheiro..

Right on the corner watch the world go by. Steak fish and burgers great ambience excellent service. Reasonable prices. Covert not very good but good menu.

Preços exagerados para as doses servidas, funcionários pouco simpáticos, 40 minutos à espera por uma francesinha e a casa nem sem estava cheia quando cheguei. Ambiente muito agradável e acolhedor e decoração muito apelativa! O atendimento é que deixou mesmo a desejar... Dificilmente volto...

Recomendo o espaço, a comida e o atendimento. Restaurante com ar muito cuidado, boa apresentação, simples, mas com muito bom gosto e excelentes detalhes.
A Cataplana de Polvo é simplesmente deliciosa. Combinação de sabores improvável mas a resultar muito bem com a batata doce... Menus infantis adequados a quem vai com crianças...
Restaurante com muito movimento mas sem perderem o cuidado com o cliente e com a qualidade do serviço. Tempo de espera pelos pratos perfeitamente razoável, aliás surpreendentemente bom face ao movimento, pelo que não percebo alguns comentários... Preço justo e adequado! Parabéns!

Food was good, staff was kinda slow. Ordered the mussels and breaded mushrooms to start, mussels were great, got sauted mushrooms instead of the breaded, but they were still good too. For the main we got the Portuguese steak and the sauce is phenomenal. They could definitely use a better cut of meat, because it's kinda chewy, but still worth a try. Other than that the food was amazing. Still worthy of a relationship recommendation.

Was looking forward to trying this place since I noticed it earlier in the year. Went there this evening and the short version is... it wasn't good. We had 2 Portuguese steaks, 1 medium rare, the other medium, it baffles me why restaurants ask how you want your steak cooked and then proceed to cook it totally wrong. The steak was covered in a salty beef gravy with cold cattorts and runner beans, topped off or not it this case with chips and not sautéed potatoes. I would have thought a Portuguese restaurant would have been able to nail Portuguese steak or were you just trying it on with some tourists who didn't know any better. On the plus side the staff were great. Won't be eating there again, a total let down especially as I was looking to support a new restaurant, something that the town needs

Our food was fine but a tad on the salty side. Service was pleasant and quick enough but no one came near us when we had our food to check if we needed anything. House wine is reasonably priced but nothing to write home about. A nice option in Armacao

Accueill horrible j'ai du m'y reprendre deux fois pour obtenir un bonjour..
Cocktail avec peu ou sans alcool dommage car assez bon.
Quand on est un bar l'accueil est primordial sinon je reste chez moi.

Simply great food, excellent value for money and, above all, surely the nicest service I have ever had. The restaurant has a welcoming environment and they involve you as if they had known you for ages and you feel at home, among friends and do not want to leave. If you ever wondered what the Portuguese word "saudade" means, in this place Isaura and Moisés will teach you.
