The man says "we do good chicken" and he doesn't lie! It's a lovely local restaurant and very well priced. They will give you a cheese and local ham starter that does cost but is very nice. If concerned just check the menu before saying yes. The chicken is the business. We had a half chicken each and with starter and salad it's was a good meal. Nice hum of spice and very tender. If you hadn't noticed, I'd recommend this place

An incredible example of a traditional Portuguese restaurant. Everything was well priced, well set out. The restaurant owner couldn't be more welcoming. Even other customers were saying hello as you walked in to add to the atmosphere. The Peri Peri chicken was some of the best I ever had. There was absolutely nothing I could fault a 3 course meal with 2 drinks was about €20 per head. I will definitley return.

Conheço há mais de 20 anos e nunca me desiludiu face aos "grandes" da zona. Jantei lá ontem e há anos que um frango da Guia e a salada não me sabiam tão bem!

É sempre com muito gosto, que tanto em férias ou em trabalho faço questão de ir comer na opinião um dos melhores frangos da guia na região.
O atendimento é fantástico, a salada de tomate é divinal, aconselho vivamente.

Foi o melhor frango churrasco que comi na minha vida!
O local é muito acolhedor, o garçon é muito divertido e o patrão muito sociável, devo salientar que a empregada era um doce, pena que estave pouco tempo na nossa mesa. A salada era maravilhosa muito bem temperada, as batatas poderiam estar um pouco mais fritas mas isso não desvaloriza nada, nem o serviço, pagamos dentro da média. Saímos muito satisfeitos e de certeza que iremos voltar para o ano!

We arrived late ...30 minutes before they were scheduled to close and they welcomed us so graciously into the restaurant. They didn’t rush us and treated us with such kindness. Food was absolutely delicious - the chicken puri puri and grilled shrimp were flavorful and fresh. Everyone took great care of us and we will definitely return!

Authentic piri piri chicken here is amazing. Not the dry overcooked chicken thet serve in other places. Great staff, with the taxi from Albufeira. Can't recommend it enough.

Amazing place. Some of the best BBQ chicken I have ever had. Great salad. Even the fries were good. Make sure to add piri piri to the chicken for that extra kick. A must stop for lunch even If passing through town.
