It was a quiet restaurant but the food and service were both excellent. The octopus dish and fried shrimps are highly recommended.

Just had a dinner in this place. Beautiful interior and very attentive service. I wish the food would be just as good. Ordered leg of lamb but got very chewy shoulder part which is great for the rice pilaf but not for the leg of lamb. Rabbit stew was not so good either. Too bad.

More formal than restaurants nearer the coast but wonderful all the same. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful food.

Also wir können es nur empfehlen, schönes Ambiente, sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen und preislich echt ok!

Wir haben hier mit sechs Personen sehr gut gegessen. Egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch, Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte war sehr gut, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet.. (Selten ein so qualitativ hochwertiges Fleisch gegessen.) Auch die Auswahl an Desserts (Mandel-/Schokokuchen, Orangenpudding) ließ keine Wünsche offen. Dadurch, dass jeder von uns was Anderes wählte, konnten wir einiges probieren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Platos deliciosos, atención muy buena y agradable. Lugar con encanto, como una especie de cuadra antigua con el techo muy alto restaurada, muy acogedor. Calidad precio buena. El plato de peixe galho con salsa de naranja estaba sencillamente espectacular.

One of our favourite family run restaurants, where fish is fresh, steak is matured, wine is aged and service is perfect. Armandio and his team will do everything to make your evening special. Save room for homemade dessert. Or take it home for breakfast the next day! Ah, almost forgot - outside terrace is the best place to sit on warm summer evening.

This was the only restaurant that I returned to a second time in the Algarve it was fabulous and highly, highly recommend other Algarve restaurants take note in a league of its own!

Wir waren vorgestern dort und wurden von dem Essen fast vergiftet! Ich habe Suppe und Steak gegessen, meine Frau Hähnchen nach Großmutterart! Optisch absolut ok! Auf dem Weg nach Hause ging es los, wir haben uns Beide übergeben, die ganze Nahct kein Auge zugetan und sind Heute total kaputt! Finger wegvon dem Lokal, entweder istdie Küche verdreckt, oder die nehmen altes Zutaten oder aber irgend welche Geschmacksverstärker Wir meiden dieses Lokal, da wir in jedem Jahr für ca. 8 Wochen in der Gegend um Portimao sind!

Very expensive for what it is. A piece of fish in the oven: 19EU it was very salty and didn't enjoy. What was choking is the sausage in the kids menu, it was really disgusting (from a can probably) I wouldn't even give it to my dog. We took 2 glasses of wine and I couldn't end mine. I put 2 stars because the personnel is welcoming. Honestly guys, you have to stop fooling tourists. Conclusion: you end with the feeling that you've been a pigeon... I should have gone to McDonald's

Schwer zu finden, in einer kleinen Gasse in Porches gelegen, von außen recht unscheinbar. DER WOW Effekt tritt beim betreten ein, der Raum ist groß und hoch, so hoch wie das Haus und sehr schön gestaltet. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet (Blick in die Küche inklusive) und ist hervorragend. Das Weinangebot steht dem nicht nach. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen. Also rundum zu empfehlen. Ach ja, ganz billig ist der Spaß nicht, aber es gibt an der Algarve teurere Restaurants mit weitaus weniger Gegenwert.
