Pas sûre que ça soit du halal.. une carte halal plus cher. On a payé trop cher pour rien manger. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant.

If I could give 0 stars thats what it deserved the female staff were nice and helpful as I asked for gluten free prawn spaghetti in cream sauce....when it arrived it was like mush the spaghetti was no longer then 2cm it was the worst meal we have had since we arrived.

Excellent restaurant incontournable à Albufeira. Je recommande les plats à base de poisson grillé. La gérante nous avait très bien reçus et les serveurs sont très réactifs.

Chicken pasta had too much greese/Olive oil than usual in the pasta. My dad and his mate had chicken piri piri and had no piri piri on it or inside the chicken it was just plain chicken... still charged us the full amount of €123 even if we left the food.

Lovely lunch spot. Very relaxed. Peri peri chicken was delishious. Both waitesees were fluent in french and engish and were very friendly. Reasonably priced but menu was a bit limited.

Couldn't find any halal restaurant or takeaways whilst in Albufera but got recommended to visit Ranias so my wife and i went, asked if they did naan breads but the waitress didn't know what that was so she went to get her boss, luckily enough her boss was a Muslim from Morocco but sadly she did not serve naan breads but she said she serves 100% halal food and that only place I could get naan breads was from the Balti takeaway across the road where she and her family always get from to eat. I ended up getting the meat lasagna by far the best from what I ate at my hotel.

We were convinced by one of the restaurant owners standing outside to come in.
The food was really lovely however, it took a lot longer than expected for what we ordered to arrive... especially as we were the only customers at the time.
The decor is a little dated but the staff seemed really nice.
I couldn't bring myself to use the bathroom as there was a huge cockroach sitting by it and it made me nervous haha!

Really not sure about this place being Halal.. yes the listing says halal and the menu says halal but staff are both not Muslim,how on earth did they serve us food when only 2 members of staff in restaurant? One just stood by the bar the other guy disappeared out the front door 20mins later food is served? Half grill chicken for 12 euros that's 10£ in UK where u get a whole chicken my guess is they order the food in and then put on plates and serve at best. No smell of cooking from kitchen which was not far from where we sat. A classic sign of food not being halal is blood deep inside meet by bone on this occasion that's exactly where the blood was. I think this place serves fake halal food from a menu which they do not cook from but order in and double the price as a profit margin. I would never eat here again. It's not halal and definitely not cooked on premises. Only God knows how they are getting away with this type of fraud.

C'est un restaurant à déconseiller. La chef était dehors et a tout fait pour nous convaincre pour y rentrer. Mais une fois dedans on l'a plus revue. La cuisine pas très bonne et les prix sont élevés pour ce que c'est.

Went here on Xmas eve for a meal and the service was appalling...this restaurant is separated into two parts with one being ranias and the one next door called jacks which we where taken into as ranias had no tables free....Sat for close to an hour and left as other customers had there food before us yet came in after us..we where not the only ones to leave either with disgust

Most likely the only halal sit down restaurant in Albufeira. They had a separate halal menu. We had a seafood cataplana (€14.50) and a Piri piri grilled chicken (€10). The cataplana had good flavours and a big portion. The grilled chicken was unfortunately a bit bland and dry. Prices were reasonable and there were quite a few options. The orders do take a bit long to arrive but I guess it is a good sign that they are cooked well

Two nights ago my wife and I ordered the swordfish. It was wonderful. The portion size was huge for the cost. Well worth the stop here. Last night I had the fish, seafood Cataplana. OMG it was to die for. A huge serving for one person and the cost. My wife had the sea bass and was very satisfied with her meal as well. The staff are wonderful as well. Very helpful explaining the various dishes. The food was served very quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We happened to be here because there was a vacant parking lot in front. Finally we had a very pleasant lunch. We were taken care well all the time by the elder hostess. The 12.99EUR combo is perfect.

J'y suis allée hier, tout était excellent ! Le service, la propreté, les plats... S'était suuuuper bon et pas du tout cher et surtout halal, j'y suis retournée aujourd'hui, et j'y retournerai demain aussi !!!
Ils parlaient français et le menu aussi était en Français, nous avons rencontré la propriétaire, nous nous sommes plaint de ne pas voir de paella sur le menu elle nous a directement proposé de nous en préparer une rien que pour nous! Très très bonne expérience ! Je conseille vivement !

My family vacation was lovely we visited a couple of towns during our stay, we ate at many restaurants all were great, except this one...
we were as many other customers (so ive read) are surprised when the owner dressed in average attire starts talking too you, run the other way... she’ll act as any other tourist would except when she suggests you eat at this restaurant shes conveniently outside of, minutes later she’ll be found waiting the tables.
along that street are many beautiful restaurants all of which serve amazing tasting food in a half sensible amount of time, once again, this restaurant didn’t fall into that category.
if you are visiting albufeira withfamily or just yourself and happen onto this street avoid this place!

I am very much disappointed with the owner here. A little background from us - we are from USA and definitely have a language barrier. We had a sweet Punjabi server answering our questions regarding the menu - however, he was disrespectfully called by the in front of all the employees and the customers. Then we were sent a server who didn’t speak English. We simply asked the server to send the server speaking to us earlier as we felt comfortable with him. The owner came and started to degrade her employee saying he is not allowed to take halal orders from Muslims, and that he was hired 3 days ago only to clean and do dishes. Why is there is a necessity for someone “special” to take our “halal” order when he menu clearly says Halal menu. Which means - every single dish on the menu should be halal. I’m not sure if this is a true halal restaurant or not as only “look a like Muslims” would be given halal only. We mentioned to her that we absolutely did not respect her working ethics - as it is super humiliating for the server who was only hired for doing “dishes or cleaning”. I personally don’t understand how you do business by humiliating your employees. I would think twice before going to this place since they have absolutely no respect for customers or employees. We even requested to the owner to let him take our order, instead of doing what was comfortable for us she started arguing that even if it’s a language problem only she will take our order or we are welcome to leave. I understand that everyone has a way of running their own business but I wish, since we were directly speaking to the owner, the situation was handled in a professional manner.

Was here on Monday 25th waited over an hour for 2 chicken kebabs and half a piri chicken grandsons kebab had a pink bit not cooked right when we showed it to them they offered an ice cream or pudding. Will Not be back.

They offer both kinds of food, halal and the other. From their 'halal menu' we chose salmon and codfish and we only got one piece of fish each, the rest were all boiled potatoes. They also charged us 40 euros for 2 items. The lady was really nice and sweet though.

Rania's Restaurant is a really good place!
The restaurant has a funny waiter and the steak is to die for. The steak comes with mushroom sauce is num num num!!!
Overall I give Ranias restaurant a 4/5!

We visited the restaurant during our honeymoon January 2020,we were seated in the booth so it was more intimate,we had a fabulous meal on both occassions,really tastyand their chocolate cake was truly amazing,the staff are really friendly and the owner ,she is a wonderful hostess,she couldnt do enough for us,cant wait to return for our next holiday,we'll be there every night for our evening meal xxx

The sirloin steak was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection. The veg soup was very good too. Steak was served with black pepper sauce which i think needs to be changed as the whole black pepper seeds kind of ruins it but the mushroom sauce was a 10 out of 10. on top of that all the meat and chicken is halal. The owners are very friendly and the service by this cool guy from India Punjab was great too keep it up :) thankyou for the lovely experience and delicious food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. BEST MEAL IN PORTUGAL SO FAR

Finding a Halal restaurant in the small town of Albufeira came as a surprise. The food tasted good and was made fresh. Service was nice too. The place isn't WOW esthetically but is clean and has decent decor. Truly a great find.

Miła restauracja i miła odsługa. Nastrojowa muzyka i dobre jedzenie, zwłaszcza ryby. Kuchnia Portugalska ale frytki również można zamówić. Polecam bardzo dobre wina portugalskie jak i piwa, również dostępne hiszpańskie jak i heineken z europejskich, ceny podobne jak w innych podobnych restauracjach. Polecam serdecznie.

The first time we ate here was fantastic - great food (seabass and grilled chicken). We read about the couscous which needs to be pre-ordered so we gave 2 days notice for this and was told it would be ready at 7pm.
We arrived at 7pm and we are still waiting for an hour for the food - always told “it is being heated up”. This is a huge disappointment and really, really not good enough for a restaurant that could otherwise be decent.
We will not be returning.

Das freundliche Personal kann leider die bescheidene Küche nicht ersetzen. Essen leider ein völliger Reinfall. Portugiesisches Steak war ein zerriger Rinderlappen in einer Maggisauce mit latschigen Kartoffelspalten.
Der Außenbereich mit vertrockneten Pflanzen und Müll am Straßenrand nicht gerade ansehnlich. Sehr schade für die eigentlich gute Lage.

Lovely food don't always go by bad reviews! I'm a fussy vegetarian we ate from the 12.95 set menu I had veg pasta it was really nice, I've ate at a lot of Italian restaurants and this was the same quality if not better than some I've tried. My boyfriend had steak and peppercorn sauce he said it was cooked spot on. I'm going to give a 5* rating for the price we paid and the taste of the food you can't go wrong!

We only went there to find halaal food but were surprised that they serve beer and non hallaal food as well. Very small portions and over priced food. Better to have kebabs from some kebab shop instead of paying for this tasteless food.
We ordered mix grill that was no where near we get in London normally. It was One small piece of beaf (very hard) 2 small pieces of lamb (again not well cooked) and one small piece of chicken for 16€. And piri piri chicken portion was like a baby chicken portion. Very disappointed and never going back again

There are restaurants, bars and cafés aplenty in Albufeira, however i highly recommend Ranias. They offer a wide range of dishes and the staff are very pleasant.

Funcionário não fala bem Português não soube explicar doce da casa. Quando respondia nomeava 2 doces da lista, acabou por chamar o colega que disse que a gerência mudou.
Pedimos bolo de amendoa e trouxe tarte de maçã, quando eu disse que não me parecia ser o bolo de amêndoa ele disse que era mesmo assim. Mais tarde veio pedir desculpa e ofereceu a sobremesa inicial mas já estavamos satisfeitos não comemos. Ofereceu o café.
Mas a comida e o ambiente são bons.

Not great!! Overpriced bland food. My family and I were encouraged to go in as they served halal food but found that the menu catered for both halal and non halal options with different prices for both. Needless to say won't be going again for lack of transparency. If the food was good then I may have had a different opinion

Unfortunately we had a bad experience there. Our waiter decided to serve someone who came in after us leaving us sat waiting. He then forgot our starters and when we asked where they were (after seeing other customers getting theirs) he did bring them - followed 2 minutes later by our mains!
My meal was the worst I've had so far in Portugal. It was very bland. My husband's and my child's were edible but I wish we hadn't gone. After speaking to the lady owner the night before we thought we were going to be in for a lovely evening.

von Aussen ein unscheinbares Restaurant, Innen sehr gemütlich und einfach mit guter und gemütlicher Musik. Das Essen ist Klasse!von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert einfach SUPER lecker ich kann den Sword Fisch nur empfehlen! Der Hammer. Die Kellner sind auch super nett und gehen allen wünschen nach!

Das dritte Mal, dass meine Frau und ich hier sind. Wärmlichst zu empfehlen ist das Touristik Menü. Ein herrliches Essen zu einem tollen Preis und freundliche Bedienung und Besitzer.
Für uns aufjedenfall ein MUSS hier essen zu gehen, wenn wir in Albufeira sind.

Food was decent apart from the steak which was too well done, and in general took waay to long in serving the food, especially when me and my family were the only customers present. Still nice ppl and decent food and prices, also HALAL which is useful as there probably one other place that is halal?

Such a disappointment. This place is either ok or a total miss depending on the day. One visit it was good, not amazing but no issues at all. Second visit 6 meals all sent back because they were cold. Not even slightly warm, totally cold, it was as if they had sat out for 20 minutes or not even been cooked, the centre of the mash potatoes was colder than my glass of water. No apologies given, they were remade took around 45 minutes. Rest of our group had finished for 30 minutes before they came back with the new mains. All the starters were the same and sent back. Never go back. So many places round here to eat just skip this one and move on.

Food is cooked by a non-chef. No flavour. Sausages are full of gristle. The wife cooks better when she's tired and hungry and doesn't care.
Make sure you ask for the "tourist menu" else they'll entice you in with a $12.95 menu and screw you over for the full priced menu they'll put in front of you.

Je me suis rendu hier soir a ce restaurant c' était la premiére et la derniére fois! Albufeira est censé être une ville touristique, aucun membre du personnel ne sachant parler francais! Aucun responsable de présent le personnel est laisser à l'abandon.
30minutes d attente pour commander et plus d 1heure pour être servi. Dommage car les serveurs etait trés sympatique seul point positif de cette soirée.
