I met Jessica at a friends wedding many years ago and have been admiring her work. When I saw her art piece titled ‘Breathe’ the fluidity of colours and movement in the painting evoked a sense of calm. The painting is now in Australia in my home and everyday it brings me joy . I almost feel myself in the painting swimming below the surface of the cool water. Each hour of the day the colours transform from blues to silvery greys. Thank you Jessica I feel incredibly special and humbled to own such a beautiful piece of art.

I have known Jessica Dunn now for almost a decade. I have seen and experienced her figurative contemporary works first hand. Beautiful narratives done from memories of fun times at the ocean or near the sea. Perhaps a reflective picnic scene with friend and family and on some rare occasions the landscape. All wonderfully rendered in oils in a contemporary style that is her own. Then just a few years back Jess decided to just experiment with Abstract but in acrylics. Suddenly there was this blossoming of expression, almost as if it had been hiding, but was suddenly released (an explosion if you will). This wonderful impressionistic painter suddenly goes abstract. The transition is amazing. Dizzy shapes, blocks of color, intense, bold and moody. You the viewer can conjure what you will in some of the works, in others there is a hint of the landscape. This new inspiration from wherever it came has been rewarded by a lot of new interest in her works by many new people and some of her collectors from all over the world. I have one which I love, I am proud to say. For me what I like most about Jess is how she applies herself to the work that she envisions. It is her passion, hard work and dedication that resonates.
