A very stylish and comfortable place with lovely gardens and a swimming pool. Adults only, so perfect for couples who want some quiet time together. Near restaurants and shops. You will need a car as if is fairly isolated.

Hôtel en pleine campagne, plein de charme, esprit ferme revisitée. Les chambres sont de petites structures à lextérieur du bâtiment principal pour la majorité. Laccueil est personnalisé et attentif. On se croit à la maison.Un seul bémol, la sonorité des chambres, par mitoyenneté..on sait quand le voisin prend sa douche.Avis très positif quand même. Structure plutôt réservée aux couples autonomes ayant un véhicule de location. Enfin, petit déjeuner classique.

It was truly a great experience to stay at the Fazenda Nova. The staff was the most courteous and helpful staff especially Diego. The room which we stayed at was No.8 Apartment which was excellent. and the entire property is something we thoroughly enjoyed. From the bar and the lounge to the dining area with the soft music in the back ground.The pool was also great except that there should be No mobile usage policy for voice application. one could use the mobile for browsing or messaging which does not disturb the other guests. During our stay there was one lady who was truly annoying which allowed us to actually move away from the pool area due to her obnoxious phone manners.But overall we had a Great stay.

Stylish, friendly and relaxing. Lots of lovely spots to sit, especially loved the ‘beach’ area. Lovely food, really well cooked. So much beautiful coastline to visit, if you can bear to leave.

This is an excellent high-end spa-like facility. It is a working farm that grows a substantial portion of the fruit and vegetables served. There are many beautiful outdoor spaces where hotel guests can relax and rest. The rooms are modern, comfortable, well designed and well furnished. Most have a private terrace, cleverly and aesthetically separated from other guests by fruit trees and shrubbery.The included breakfasts were excellent, with delicious fruits, eggs to order, breads cheeses and pastries. They also serve lunch daily, which included a salad with sardines which we had ordered—Those sardines were the best we had encountered in Portugal. Dinner is also offered.Spa services—including massages and other health alternatives are available.They have a full bar and an indoor area up a flight of stairs in the main building where guests can listen to a >1000 vinyl record collection of popular songs. A roof deck offers views of the ocean and countryside. We visited Fuzeta beach and Tavira, both a short 15-20 minute drive from there. The staff provided a map and recommended restaurants.We could have used a longer orientation at the beginning. I want to commend evening staff, whom we sought out once when I wasn’t feeling well. They were very concerned for my comfort and exceedingly helpful.There is a high cost of staying there—but if you have the resources and want a high-end spa, this is a great place to stay in.

Fantastic place to relax far away from all the noise. They have few guest rooms in the property which makes it exclusive and cosy. You MUST have a car if you are staying here and want to see close by places, since it is kind of in the middle of nowhere.

The old traditional building is beautiful, and the decor inside is very modern and amazing attention to detail. Food was great. Hotel is not big which makes the experience even better. Would definitely recommend for a few days!

This place is the absolute dream. A gorgeous oasis in the Portugese countryside with every detail catered for. Need a wind break for the beach? Theyve got it. Forgotten a hat? Got those too. Literally every little detail thought of and so beautifully done. Staff are wonderful, the grounds are divine. Cant recommend highly enough. The only minor niggle is the price of food...Eating out (and eating really well) is cheap in Portugal, especially all the gorgeous fresh sea food so paying €22 for a burger at the hotel irks a little! If youre considering booking just do it. You wont regret it

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren und erholsamen Aufenthalt! Die ganze Crew war einfach fantastisch und hat uns sogar ein privates candlelight dinner im wunderschönen Garten organisiert, damit ich meiner liebsten die Frage aller Fragen stellen konnte (vielen Dank nochmal an alle und insbesondere Diego, der für das servieren des Essens bei jedem Gang den weiten Weg auf sich genommen hat ) . Das Essen und auch alles andere war ausgezeichnet! Die Zimmer und die ganze Anlage sind sauber und gepflegt! Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder ! Danke auch an Hallie für die Einladung auf die Flasche Wein !

The staff and facilities at Fazenda Nova were nothing short of amazing. The facility was beautiful and incredibly calming. Having stayed at a number of boutique hotels throughout the world, I can genuinly say, Fazenda is definitely up there with the top of them.

Local deslumbrante, totalmente renovado. Perfeito para uma escapado há de fim de semana. Ideal para famílias ou reformados, sossegado, com estilo rústico rodeado de bonitos passeios com árvores, flores e arbustos. Têm também uma horta e fonte com água. Fica a poucos minutos de carro de Tavira.

This is a very special place - a well-designed country house in beautiful setting, with great staff, very good food, comfortable rooms. You just feel welcome here, and well taken care of. We'll definitely be back!

Words like idyllic, stunning and perfect are often overused but never have these words been more appropriate in describing Fazenda Nova Country House. Hallie & Tim and the team around them have created a truly relaxing retreat in the heart of the Eastern Algarve. Their hospitality is second to none and their knowledge of the surrounding area is excellent. With an eclectic collection of furniture spread throughout the property, this is a house where style and comfort sit together in perfect harmony. The attention to detail is superb, they even have a collection of sun hats you can borrow. Our spacious garden room oozed quality and the bathroom featured a huge shower and a host of REN goodies. It is difficult to figure out if the day should include relaxing by the pool, visiting the local beaches or sleeping in the hanging pod. The biggest decision of the day is whether to eat in or eat out for lunch and dinner. The food is so good it is a real challenge to drag yourself away. I have never been so reluctant to leave a place but this is really special and I have vowed to return.
