Procurava um local tranquilo para descansar e recuperar energias após um período de trabalho acima do normal. Escolhi a Mercedes Country House pelas avaliações dos outros hóspedes e pela localização: no Campo, mas perto da cidade.
Estava, no entanto um pouco apreensiva devido à situação atual. Uns dias antes da data de check in recebi uma mensagem com informação detalhada sobre os procedimentos a adoptar durante a minha estadia, gostei. O check in foi um pouco diferente do habitual, mas percebi imediatamente que estavam preparados e que fizeram o trabalho de casa. Constatei mais tarde que fecharam o hotel em meados de março e reabriram no dia um de junho. Neste período de tempo alteraram os processos para garantir uma estadia confortável, mas ao mesmo tempo segura. Resumindo: adorei e vou voltar!

My stay was amazing albeit too short! This hotel is truly a country house - in a secluded location that is still 15 minutes from the hot spots like Faro and the airport. Its a brand new property thats been beautifully designed and decorated, with every detail for their guests considered. Filipa is the best receptionist Ive ever met - and I travel at least once a week. I had an incredibly comfortable stay and will definitely stay again during my next trip to Faro.

Great place to relax from overcrowded coast resorts. You should try dinner since the manager is a very giftet cook and prepared to make an extra effort for individual guests!

The new Woman was very friendly. Everyone else... very unfriendly. The Boys cut gras one meter in front of me, when i‘m sitting in the „own“ garden at 07.30 oclock in the morning. Never again!

For me Mercedes Country House is synonym of quality and hospitality. I enjoyed my stay there so much and I felt like home. The staff is well prepared and very available and owner, Miguel, is such a great person!
His family is very nice too and I really appreciate this kind of authenticity. The quality of food is 5 stars, since it's everything homemade and so so yummy. The rooms are very clean and the view over banana trees is amazing. Couldn't be more happy about my 3 nights there.

Me and my wife booked here a fantastic room with the bath beside the bed and I have to say it looks even better in reality than in photo.
It was the first time we got such a cool room in our travels and it was worth the little difference between this and the normal room.
I would recommend it for honey mooners and for instagram goals.
It’s the perfect place for couples, families and who ever is looking for luxury location with good vibes outside the touristic area.

Mercedes Country House was my happy place in Faro. I really loved this place cause I was able to feel the quality in all of the aspects: room, food, staff.
I found everything perfect and the atmosphere relaxing and trustful.
The position is perfect to visit everything around near Faro, because most of the main things are only 15-20 minutes by car from there. You can also have the parking for free.
Everything was perfectly clean and for me this structure is really worth 5 stars.
Can’t wait to be back!

Stylish accomodation surrounded by the green outside the crowdy areas. It features free car parking for the guest, a good restaurant and big pool. The breakfast is not a huge but offers you only quality ingredients that will make you looking for it day by day.
The owner and the emplyees have been very friendly and kind. He is also a good wine tester and left us try one of the best wine of Algarve and that was very kind of him.
The structure is pet friendly and very clean in every corner. It that dreamy house everyone would love to own! Great value for the rapport quality/price

Was looking for a place outside the centre to relax and chill so I found this place the perfect location for that. It's clean, well managed and with a beautiful outside pool. It is great for families, couples and also pets friendly. Will definitely be back!

If you’re looking to relax and experience some of the finest things Portugal and the Algarve have to offer, this is the place.
Weather is generally sunnier and warmer than in Lisbon.
Excellent amenities, even (or specially) if you have kids. Rooms are wide, comfortable, flawlessly clean.
Perfect for business retreats too.
Will try the pool next time (I was at MCH in Dec'18 and Jan'19).
The host of MCH will make you feel at home.
Kitchen will serve some of the finest ingredients you can find in the Algarve region, especially fish and biological vegetables.
Wine lovers paradise.
Quiet location but close to Faro (airport and city center), local beaches and Via do Infante.

This was the most memorable stay we had in all of Portugal. Miguel is a warm, welcoming man who runs a great hotel. The accommodations are flawless, his cooking is outstanding, and the wine cellar is the icing on the cake!

Schönes, stylisches Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Betreibern.Wie kamen kurz vor Mitternacht an und wurden noch mit Pizza im Restaurant versorgt. Zimmer sind sehr schön, modern und ruhig.

A great way to begin or end a holiday. Very contemporary with beautiful linens and towels. The bed was the best we experienced in Portugal over 21 days. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed walking around all the tropical trees and vegetation. We highly recommend Mercedes County House but suggest you have a car. It is only 15 minutes from Faro Airport, but you definitely feel like you are out in the country.

Such an amazing place!! Just fantastic, everything fantastic. We have had a wonderful time in Mercedes: peaceful, relaxing, beautiful views... The room is ultra clean, modern and very spacious. On top, you have a superb service. Miguel and his family (also Paco, the dog) make you feel very welcome. We recommend you also to have dinner in there, the quality of the food is exceptional! The food is very fresh and local, made by the family. Just 15 min away from the airport but far enough away to make you feel that you are in the countryside. Go, do not hesitate!

Hôtel situé en campagne et donc très calme tout en étant à seulement 10km de Faro. Très propre. Le propriétaire et le personnel sont très sympathiques et à l'écoute. Le petit déjeuner est jusqu'à 11h et la piscine est disponible 24h/24. Je recommande vivement !

Miguel and his son are such nice hosts!We had three marvellous days at the Mercedes Country House.If you are there, have a bottle of wine and let Miguel advise you!He knows all the nice stories about the wines he serves.And dont forget to have dinner in the hotel (at lest one night), because Miguel is also an excellent chef.

A pristine property set in an idyllic location , myself and my wife found this country house stay to be perfect for us , so calming and relaxing.Miguel the owner and his staff made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us , within days of arriving we had made our minds up to return to the Mercedes Country House again in September this year.Well done to Miguel and all his staff , brilliant , this is the way it should be done , thank you for a perfect stay , see you soon.

O que dizer sobre a Mercedes Country House?
Enquadrando a minha visita na atual situação, foi bastante tranquilo no sentido em que me senti bastante segura, em todas as entradas do hotel disponibilizam desinfectante de mãos, assim como máscaras no quarto.
Recomendo este hotel para quem queira passar umas férias relaxantes, perto da Serra e ao mesmo tempo perto do mar.
O pequeno almoço é bastante variado, vários tipos de pães, sumos naturais, fruta da época, charcutaria variada etc.
A carta de vinhos também é bastante interessante!
Obrigada Miguel pela hospitalidade assim como a todo o restante staff!

Simpatia, tranquilidade e qualidade de vida foi o que a Mercedes Country House me proporcionou. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e profissionais.

Beautiful guest house surrounded with organic fruit trees and herbs. Well planned out design throughout the house. The top desk is the best place to watch sunset. Best of all, you can have first class dinner at the house with fine wine. We highly recommended it, especially stay in the off season.

Beautiful property!! Small boutique hotel with only 12 rooms. Very clean and comfortable! It’s on an acerage with lots of fruit trees - we were greeted with fresh squeezed apple juice from the acerage and in the morning had a wonderful breakfast which included fruit from the acerage!! Wonderful overall!

Super Unterkunft, Miguel ist sehr nett. Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und schlicht nicht aufdringlich. Man kann hier nur eine super Zeit haben. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen, das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, tolle Produkte. Einzig die Zufahrt kann für einige eine Herausforderung sein, die letzten 300m sind sehr holprig ;)

Fantástico hotel rural, decorado con gusto y practicidad. Cómodas habitaciones, ducha fantástica, he dormido estupendamente, silencio y tranquilidad. Las personas que te atienden son encantadoras, hemos cenado dos días en el hotel y la cataplana estaba buenísima. Un descubrimiento. Repetiremos seguro. Nos han cuidado muy bien. Al llegar nos refrescaron con un zumo de pera, y una tarde nos dieron un vinito blanco, que nos supo a gloria.

This property is a hidden gem and deserves the highest recognition for firstly friendliness without invasion, cleanliness next to none, delicious food and comfortable beds & pillows.Surrounded by orchards of lemon, orange, olive, carob, mango and many others plus a good sized pool for a cooling dip!

Mercedes Country House is a beautiful little gym not far from Faro airport. Our room was large, bright and extremely comfortable. We were warmly greeted with a freshly made cold juice to sip whilst given a tour of the lovely property. We spent the afternoon lounging in the beautiful garden next to the pool, sipping a bottle of rose with only the sound of birds to distract us. We had planned to go out for dinner in Faro, but once we decompressed in this little bit of heaven, there was no way we were going to leave. We toasted a glorious sunset from the roof terrace before enjoying a wonderful dinner from start to finish. We were delighted we made this change in plans. We will most definitely return, and it wont be for one night only. A big shout out to Lucy... but all of the family and staff were superb!

Very beautiful hotel in a quiet and remote part of faro. Beautiful decor. Needs a receptionist. We walked in and there was no one to welcome us with our personal details printed out and lying on the desk for everyone to see.
We booked via hotel tonight app that said "complimentary breakfast available" but they wanted to charge us 10 euros each for some pears and a sandwich to take to the airport for the early flight. We were reminded that we paid a cheap day rate via hotel tonight during this argument. The only dinner option was chicken or pork casserole as opposed to the 5 options on the menu. The waitress was trying very hard but it seemed like it was her first day in a waiting job. Would go back just for the decor and location but not food or service.

The hotel, a homage to minimalism in the middle of the beautiful Portuguese countryside, was fantastic. Our host, Miguel, was really friendly towards us, spoke great English and also turned out to be an amazing chef. On our first night we had octopus cataplana and were blown away by it and the accompanying wine! There are only nine rooms for guests so it felt exclusive and there’s wasnt too much competition for the swimming pool or roof terrace. On our third night there the sky was really clear and we saw Jupiter and Saturn clearly with the naked eye. Would recommend to anyone who likes to be away from the crowds but within easy reach of Algarve and southern Spain. A tranquil place with a zen-like calm around it, probably inspired by the wonderful architecture, food and surrounding well-tended gardens and farmland.

Amazing place /rooms, warm welcoming, great service. The cataplana we got served at the restaurant has been prepared on demand and was amazing. Vegetables and olives coming straight from the garden where there is magnificient pool ! We will come back asap !

Mercedes Country House is a calm, peaceful place. We loved the intimacy and the feeling of being 'at home'. The bedroom was modern, very clean and comfortable. Amazing hosts! Breakfast was delicious, with amazing homemade jams made by the owner Miguel. Highly recommended!

Our experience to stay in Mercedes country house was amazing.
The house is traditional and typical of the region. Our room was very spacious and with an excellent comfort. There is a swimming pool and a beautiful garden full of organic fruit and vegetables and some animals too. We loved eating these organic foods for breakfast and dinner, We had the opportunity to visit the wine cellar and do a wine tasting.We will return here with our family.

Ganz tolle neu Hotelanlage, sehr Sauber, freundliches Personal und ein sehr netter zuvorkommender Hotel-Manager. Dadurch dass es nur 9 Hotelzimmer gibt fühlt man sich wie Zuhause.Wir waren für eine Übernachtung in der Hotelanlage, für unsere Rückreise zum Flughafen. Der Flughafen Faro befindet sich ca. 10 km entfernt.Man braucht auf jedenfall ein Auto, da die Anlage abgelegen von Faro ist. Für Reisende mit Auto, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne für einen längeren Aufenthalt wieder
