This really is a cut above. Expensive for the area, about 25€ a head, but the quality and atmosphere justified that and more.

Just an amazing Restaurant all family owned and run, if you have not been yet, you do not know what you are missing. Nestled in the lovely boutique village of Querenca just inland of Loule. Have lunch and walk in the countryside. Or take a walk and relax with an evening meal. All the food is prepared and cooked by the owners son, who himself is a culinary master. The ingredients are of a very high quality, from meat to fish, vegetables and salads. The homemade desserts and ice creams are to die for

Amazing food and staff. Owner works front of house along with his wife. His son is the chef. Menu has some great food on it and also new dishes on various days. Not had a bad meal yet.

What a pleasant surprise. Mix of traditional Portuguese cuisine with international. We had chicken wings, wild boar stew and creme brulee for desert. Top notch!

We've ordeder 3 different dishes I tried all of them and they were delicious. They know very well what's cooking. I Highly recomend. I need to go back for more in a future.

The restaurant is incredible!!
The food is excellent, you have a big choice of different dishes, all tastes very fresh and tasteful and the price is extremely reasonable for the quality of cuisine. They have a great service, both from the employees and the Chef Alexandre, a young fella who knows how to cook.
The homemade ice creams are fantastic.

The restaurant is perfect! You have a big choice of different dishes, all tastes very fresh and tasteful and the atmosphere is quiet and nice. We had fish, beef and seafood. Moreover the people are very sympathetic and you got also information in english.
Normally when I am on holiday I am curious about trying a lot of different restaurants, but to this we had to go twice in a week! :-)

Si è mangiato bene, ma delle tre ordinazioni fatte ci è stato riferito che erano terminate tutte e tre. Mi è toccato mangiare ciò che avevano pronto e alla fine ci hanno pure portato il conto del tavolo vicino più alto di 15,00 €. DA EVITARE

Restaurante simples, típico português, mas com confecção acima da média. Provamos camarão de entrada, seguido de filete de robalo e pato confitado e adoramos cada garrafada. Tudo muito bem confeccionado. Para terminar, um gelado de pistaccio, que não desiludiu. Muito bom. Bom preço. Vale a pena visitar e ir cedo, senão convém fazer reserva.

just stoped in this restaurant near the road and ended with an excellent meal, I choose grilled squids with potatoes which were a delight, and my partner choose a cow steak which looked very good. It is a place that I will surely come back. Friendly staff, good food and pleasant environment.

Just stopped for lunch after a country walk with friends. Very nice location with friendly staff. While looking through the menu saw a plate which looked interesting going to a nearby table, asked the waiter - told us it was "English cod & chips" not on the menu but do it for some regular customers. 2 of us went for it - wonderful! We all had an excellent lunch for very reasonable price. Every intention of visiting again, pity it's a 45 minute drive away!

Restaurante tranquilo, pequeno mas acolhedor. O serviço foi rápido, a comida muito bem confeccionada com fusão entre a comida portuguesa e francesa. O creme Brulé é excelente bem como os gelados caseiros.

Excellent meal of iberian porc grilled to perfection! Fine traditional cuisine with French influence and evidently the chef knows what he's doing. Homemade icecream with local flavours to round up the meal.

Also damit haben wir in der Gegend überhaupt nicht gerechnet. Qualität und Geschmack der Speisen wirklich hervorragend. Der Koch kommt zum Ende des Abends sogar noch an den Tisch und fragt ob es allen geschmeckt hat. Der Service ist zudem überaus bemüht und höflich. Einfach nur eine Empfehlung! Hin gehen lohnt sich.

Fantastic food. We took our Grandson for the chicken wings, which he enjoyed immensely.
My wife had a pepper steak and I had chicken steaks. I’m not usually a fan of pepper steak but I had a taste as my wife insisted....wonderful and although the chicken steaks were lovely I wished that I’d had the steak!
We rounded the meal off with their homemade ice cream, which was great too.
Lovely restaurant with a nice feel to it with lovely family staff. Would definitely go back again if we were in the area.

Absolutely delicious! Faultless cooking by a family owned restaurant. No specific kids menu which was great as forced our kids away from the usual chicken nugget fare! Everything was freshly cooked and beautifully done. Would happily return even though it's an hour away from where we're staying.

Accueil chaleureux (même en français). Service attentionné (explication des plats, dialogues avec les serveurs). Sous l'olivier, très bonne et généreuse cuisine familiale. Recommandé, adresse à ne pas manquer !

Lovely location and very good homemade food. Very welcoming and the waiter owner? Speaks good English. Pity they don't do the traditional prata do dia deal, but they have good homemade specials and ice cream. Good location for walking

A lovely little restaurant off the beaten track that we took a chance on. To say that we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. The food was truly amazing and so reasonable! They catered for the vegetarian easily too. A new favourite when we are in the area.

We visited today (family of four - 2 old adults and 2 young adults). After a hard day in the pool and not wanting to be bothered with cooking. We had a delicious meal of shrimp and pineapple salad starters and chicken wings for the younger ones. Followed by lamb chops, hake for the others. I had an awesome steak with sautéed vegetables with a rice dish filled with peanuts, dried fruit and other surprises for the taste buds. This rice dish was so good the senior adults didn't touch the potato wedges (The young adults had a go at the rice dish and they preferred it to the wedges). The meal didn't leave you feeling bloated and we ordered 2 lots of drinks (2 cider and 6 soft drinks). The owners of the restaurant are VERY nice and helpful answering qyestions about the menu. Overall cost of the meal was definitely worth it and we will be visiting it again.

Bon restaurant . Plats du jour et carte variés. Bons produits et bien présentés. Ne ratez surtout pas de déguster les glaces faites maison. Un délice... Le tout évidemment pas cher.
