Schattige Plätze im Freien. Aussicht auf die Kirche und die alte Festung. Preislich im Mittelfeld. Bedienung wirkte bemüht aber etwas unorganisiert.

I really don’t understand the lower ratings. I’ve eaten in fine dining restaurants all over the world and this is definitely in the top league.
Food is absolutely epic, staff were really attentive, helpful and friendly. View out over the town was beautiful.
Get there early or request the terrace when you book.

Os pratos são bem apresentados, criativos e saborosos. As porções são modestas. A maitre deveria ser mais agradável. Os demais atendentes são muito simpáticos e atenciosos.

Very nicely located in Tavira. The Food was really good, although the portions were just big enough. Personnel was very friendly. Only minus point was that we were charged quite much for a simple pasta for our three year old son.

Hostess was sassy and would not allow us in to join our friends if we were only ordering drinks - we were told we would have to order food to sit down even though the restaurant was empty. Would not recommend based on their lack of hospitality.

Seems to be a good restaurant...however STAY AWAY! Half of our group didn't want to eat anything but they would not let us sit together inside. When asked why they said it was most convenient to have the ones not eating sit outside...what kind of logic is that? If you don't mind terrible service feel free to try.

El 19 de diciembre experimentamos el menu de degustacion de 4 pasos el cual fue acompañado por dos ofrendas del chef. Fue maravilloso desde el comienzo hasta el final.
Cada uno de los platos tiene sabores especiales e inolvidables.
No se puede ir a Tavira sin probar este restaurante

Horribly rude hostess. We arrived at an absolutely normal time for lunch and she behaved as though we were completely inconveniencing her. Of course, we left and found a wonderful riverside lunch at Gilão! Rua do Cais Loja 2A

Restaurante situado junto al Castelo de Tavira con buenas vistas y atención correcta al cliente. Es bastante caro en comparación a lo que estoy acostumbrado. Entiendo que lo que paga son las vistas y la tranquilidad de tomar algo junto al castillo. La entrada al Castelo de Tavira es gratuita.

Sitio con muy buena ubicación y muy buenas vistas, tanto desde la terraza del interior como desde la terraza del exterior. Se encuentra al lado del castillo. Está bien si buscas tranquilidad. Buen servicio, aunque se toman su tiempo y trato muy amable. Amplia carta de vino. Carta más bien corta y sin platos típicos de Portugal. Para el tamaño de los platos es algo carillo. Por ej la coca cola sola 3 euros. Baños limpios.

Fantastic restaurant with superb food. We had the 4-course tasting menu with matching wines, which was superb - absolutely on par with top restaurants in London. Service was excellent and the view over the town from the terrace is beautiful.

Great restaurant, loved the food and wines. Staff were friendly and a le to tell a lot about the dishes and wines. Great little place, hiding in the town. The chef came out to speak to us, which was nice too.

Das Menü war sehr schmackhaft und der Weißwein in seinem Abgang fruchtig- nussig. Alle Zutaten des leckeren Salates waren knackig frisch und das Dressing mit der leichten Honignote passend.

A world class meal, this was a truly magical experience. We showed up there hungry, our 3 year old son sleeping in his stroller, hoping they had a table. They did, and we learned this was a michelin guide restaurant, so we were pleasantly looking forward to this, and it truly did not dissapoint. Everything we ate was fantastic, and it will remain our top food souvenir from this 3 week trip.

Went to have a meal as it stated it was open. We have a 15 month old so 18:30 is the optimal time. Dont serve food until 19:00. Think they need to ensure the info placed on websites and information sites is more accurate.

Sala interior insuportável com calor, num dia de 28°, não podendo aumentar o ar condicionado por causa do quadro eléctrico. Experiencia muito condicionada,
sendo difícil apreciar o local e comida nestas nestas condições.
Para apreciadores de medronho, o único disponível é Castelo de Silves, o pior medronho do país.

Hervorragende Küche, perfekte, aufmerksame Bedienung - ich hab mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Auf der Terasse schöne Aussicht über Tavira bis zum Meer.
Nebenher könnte ich beobachten, wie eine Auszubildende nachdrücklich, aber liebevoll korrigiert wurde. Toll!

Pleasant experience with perfect table on terrace within restaurant
Excellent risotto made with superb ingredients including prawns and cured ham, my wife chose the Iberian Pork loin served with delicate sweet potatoes

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit hoher Qualität! Außergewöhnliche Kreationen. Ein Festmahl für die Sinne! Ein Genias für Auge und Gaumen. Sehr zuvorkommende und aufmerksame Bedienung. Vom Balkon hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Ausgrabungen und die Stadt!

La vue est panoramique mais sincèrement pas exceptionnelle; vue sur les néons du "Continente" (supermarché) au loin, câbles électriques, ...
Le service est très bien :-)
Les plats se veulent gastronomiques mais ne sont pas à la hauteurs (tout en restant corrects).
Bref, le repas est correct mais vis à vis des prix, c'est cher.
Et une erreur sur la note (une bouteille facturée alors que 2 verres sont pris)...

We drank delicious sangria on 3 afternoons before booking a table on the veranda over looking the City. The service and food were tremendous! The wine wonderful. It is priced appropriately, but high for local standards. Everyone was on the veranda.

Had a very nice lunch there, service and food were both very good and reasonably priced. The restaurant has good views over the town. Situated next door to the castle ruins which are worth a visit.

Uma desilusão. Apesar do peixe e mariscos serem impecáveis, preparados no ponto com todo o sabor a mar, o conjunto do prato não estimula o palato. Gordura a mais usada na confeção a estragar, esconder, sabores na sopa de peixe (apesar do peixe e vieira estarem impecáveis). Risotto com sal a mais e pouco cremoso, demasiado amador. Sobremesas boas, chocolate com toffee e gelado de laranja. Serviço bom, atencioso e rápido. Preços inflacionados (€30/pax sem vinho e a partilhar sobremesa), mau valor. Espaço pouco limpo, moscas na sala!

Restaurante pijo, cocina elaborada, sin muchos platos en la carta. Buena presentación y personal atento. La comida buena, y las raciones correctas. Se va un poco en los precios, sobretodo en los segundos. Es un sitio bonito pero creo que los precios están un poco inflados (aunque como es costumbre en Portugal son bastante asequibles ).
