Really lovely tapas and wine bar. The house wine was excellent and the tapas dishes we had were very tasty and good value. Definitely worth a visit.

Great little tapas place serving perfectly put together Portuguese tapas and the best sparkling sangria around! Warm goats cheese with pumpkin marmalade and Algarvian style tuna particularly good! Excellent and friendly service too

7:00 PM. It seemed empty but we were told there were no tables available. We said we would hurry but...not even a pleasant, smiling apology. Pity because we actually live there two months/year and wanted to try the food. Who knows...one of these years we may be luckier!

Excellent service. Great food and wine. Staff were kind to my tired 4-yr-old daughter. The octopus with sweet potato/plantain, and the stuffed bread were great. And my daughter loved the mushroom risotto. I'll be going back to sample more dishes.

Очень ценно, что можно вкусно и быстро поесть в самом центре города Тавира в послеобеденное время. Мы пришли в кафе в 15.00 и не очень надеялись на обслуживание в такое время дня, когда многие заведения заканчивают обеденный сервис.
Были очень приятно удивлены радушным и добрым приемом. Понравился салат с курицей. Хороший выбор красного вина. Представлен в полное обозрение посетителям - полки с вином расположены прямо за спинами клиентов, на стенах.

Très bon restaurant de tapas. Des plats variés et excellents et raisonnables niveau prix. Avec 5 ou 6 tapas salés 2 desserts et 1L de sangria -> 48€

Les tapas sont servis à partir de 16h. de 12 à 15, avant cela, c'est la carte du restaurant, omelettes, bifanhas (sandwichs au porc ou au poulet avec tomate et salades, très bon), burger, salades ... très bon et pas cher.

Nos lo recomendaron en el hostel y la verdad es que valió mucho la pena. Cenamos 3 tapas: la tapa del día, que era una tosta con aguacate, salmón, queso crema y huevo; gambas con miel y genjibre; y pulpo frito.
Todo buenísimo, en especial las gambas.
De postre, mousse de chocolate.
El servicio excelente, todo el tiempo preguntándonos si estaba todo bien y nos había gustado.

Very good service, an interesting and unusual menu and the food is excellent. Really enjoyed eating here! The prawns with honey and ginger were delicious, they had been partially shelled, nice touch.

Wir würden nach vorheriger Reservierung nett empfangen, und auch beim Service setzte sich das so fort. Vom Essen war ich nach den gelesenen Bewertungen etwas enttäuscht. Die Risotto waren sehr gut, aber das Chorizo-Board bestand aus sehr grober Wurst mit einem Fettanteil, den ich hier noch bei Keiner Chorizo gesehen habe und zäh war sie auch wie Hulle. Also gibt es hier nicht die volle Punktzahl - sorry!

Para uma casa de tapas e vinho, esperava mais opções em vinho ao copo (só havia uma, o da casa).

Super vriendelijke bediening, snelle service en ontzettend originele gerechten, zoals frisse couscous salade met vers fruit en heerlijke zalm, garnalen risotto en gegrilde zalm met amandelen. We hadden een beetje haast, anders waren we langer gebleven. Kudos voor de superbe service, snelheid en heerlijke gerechten. Aanrader als je in Tavira bent.

We love this place. I found out through google maps and went there because the good reviews.
The food was really good and the waiter was very nice.
Small& friendly place.
We have only two tapas as we were going to have dinner later on. But I would have love to order more things from the menu.
It was very quiet as it was early in the afternoon, and it was a nice place to go with the kids.

Lovely little gem!
Found by accident, browsing the back streets of Tavira.. the tapas was excellent and service extremely friendly.. the goat cheese and pumpkin jam was particularly delicious..

Found this spontaneously because Pausa was closed. The tapas were great. They had an amazing selection of desserts. Had the house red wine which was delicious. And the service was very good. So all in all it was a nice surprise.Can only recommend this place.

Bien sitio para cenar. Cerca del centro del pueblo, en calle no muy concurrida. (Quizá la terraza un poco incómoda al ser la acera muy estrecha).

Restaurante acolhedor e com bom ambiente(tem A.C.) no centro de Tavira. Bom serviço , empregados bastante atentos ao cliente, simpáticos e prestáveis . Receberam-nos já depois das 22 h, o que muitas vezes já não é possivel por esta zona .Pouca espera, Bom rosbife e prego de rosbife no pão do caco .

Fuimos por la noche huyendo de los sitios que iban a estar llenos a estas horas y nos encontramos con este lugar. El trato con el camarero buenísimo, muy simpático y cordial, además hablaba español. De primero nos pedimos pulpo frito con patatas dulces y estaba muy muy bueno, de segundo pedimos sandwich de roastbeef con queso de cabra y miel, que es lo de la foto, y estaba espectacular!!! Por si fuera poco nos sirvieron rápido. Si volviéramos a Tavira, volvería sin duda a este sitio, 100% recomendable!!!

Nice little place for tapas - the octopus was really good and the sangria was excellent! Friendly, but really quiet around 5-7 - a good for an early dinner. Reasonable value for money. The kids enjoyed it too.

It's a nice little Tasca with lots of sunshine and nice view to the daily life in Tavira. Located at the taxi station. Friendly staff and good food and wine to reasonable prices. Try sopa de dia (soup of the day), very cheap, very good. Usually vegetables soup. Staff speaks English well.

Tout simplement parfait. Tres bonnes tapas de qualité et typiques. Personnel tres sympa. A 2 nous en avons eu pour une trentaine d'euros avec apero et desserts compris. Je recomande vivement. Nous y sommes allés 2 fois durant notre sejour.

All four of us had a lovely tapas meal here in the evening . We sat outside as it was still very warm and wanted to enjoy the ambience of the street. The waitress was very helpful and helped us decide on a couple of the dishes. She also advised us that we were probably ordering too much as this was Portuguese Tapas(larger portions) - She was right! All the food we ordered was really tasty and my Daddy said that his octopus and prawns were the nicest he’d had in a while. If we are ever back in Tavira we will definitely call again.

Lovely place away from the plastic chairs of the touristy main streets of Tavira. Staff were lovely and charming, and food was delicious. Fried prawns in ginger & honey was sublime, as was the octopus with sweet potato. Really tasty sauces. All great value. Thank you!

Everything we ordered was delicious. The waiting staff were very attentive and wanted to know everything was to our satisfaction.
They even wanted to know which our favourite was.
I'm sorry I can't remember the young man who waited on us. He was delightful and his recommendations were spot on.
I'd certainly go back .

Sehr nette Tapas-Bude. Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Preise sind vernünftig und das Personal ist freundlich. Was will man mehr? Mehr Tapas natürlich!
Nachtrag: Das Roastbeef dürfte nicht mehr das frischeste gewesen sein, hat mir mein Magen in der Nacht mitgeteilt. Das kostet leider Sterne.

Auf der Karte gibt es eine Auswahl von ca. 10 verschiedenen Tapas. Die Hälfte davon haben wir verkostet, alle waren gut und in Summe ganz schön ausgiebig. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Personal ist freundlich. Es gibt auch noch eine Auswahl an Mehlspeisen, doch dafür war leider kein Platz mehr im Magen.
