Tranquilidade e serviço perfeito num local fantástico

Wir stiegen bereits zum 2ten mal im Praia Verde ab, da wir die Lage und insbesondere die gute Küche im Terra sehr schätzen. Im Vergleich zum letzten Aufenthalt waren wesentlich mehr Gäste, auch mit Kindern/Kleinkindern, anwesend, was eine etwas andere Atmosphäre ergab. Dies ist eventuell als Folge der Aufschlatung von Online-Schnäppchenangeboten geschuldet. Speziell empfanden wir die Tatsache, dass man bei zu grossem Restaurantandrang auf einen Tisch warten muss obwohl diverse Tische frei und gedeckt sind (dies passierte obwohl wir sogar eine Reservation hatten). Dies wurde mit begrenzten Küchenkapazitäten begründet. In solchen Situationen wäre vielleicht ein offerierter Drink an der Bar wünschenswert. Die Speisen sind nach wie vor von hoher Qualität sowie sehr schön und kreativ angerichtet. Wir sind nach wie vor Fans des Praia Verde da sehr viele Details einfach stimmen (Cookies, Sonnenhüte etc.). Unsere Erwartungen wurden auch dieses mal erfüllt!

Etablissement très bien entretenu, bon accueil par du personnel souriant aussi bien à lentrée quau restaurant.La chambre était propre et bien décorée la vue mer est superbe. Laccès par la pinède pour aller à la plage est pratique par contre une seul piscine pour beaucoup de chambres ...Le seul bémol trop gros hôtel et bruyant pour nous.

We visited in march, it has been 2 months and I keep asking my husband, "when are we going back?" Possibly the most relaxing hotel I've ever visited, praia verde took care of anything we needed. Perfect dining whether breakfast, lunch, dinner, or room service. Amazing service & excellent people working here! We had a top floor ocean view balcony room & it was heaven (especially the bed.)We loooooved the peaceful walk to the beach as well. Just go here.

The hotel is stylish, the food is delicious, and it’s about an 8 min easy walk to the beach. Downsides, the waiting staff in the restaurant were inattentive and less than friendly at times, and the pool is basically a large, shallow paddling pool full of children and their inflatable toys. Great destination if you have a young family, not so much if you want peace and quiet!

Very warm welcome and a short guided tour through the hotel. Very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Nice and well designed rooms. Breakfast was very good with a large variety. The dinner was good - try the ribs (yummy)- a little pricey. Very friendly service.

Le cadre pourrait être agréable si on oublie la vue sur le parking quand on est au restaurant, le royaume de l'enfant roi des jeunes bobos anglophones et germanophones (ça braille dès le petit déjeuner, dans le hall, à la piscine..), children only. .tables sales au petit dej pas nettoyées du diner mais produits de qualité et jus d'orange frais, on retient la vue mer du lit quand on est au 3eme, personnel aucun investissement avec les français. Donc grosse déception pour ce séjour .

A Terra dor. Pertenece a un hotel boutique y la decoración es bonita, pero la comida es bastante mediocre y la atención un desastre. Llegamos cuando solo había tres mesas, pedimos una ensalada, una pizza y costillas de cerdo. Queríamos pedir otras cosas que vimos aquí en TripAdvisor, pero no tienen la misma carta a mediodía que por la noche. Nos traen el entrante equivocado y tuvimos que comerlo de postre. La pizza estaba decente, pero todo lo demás ni fu ni fa y menos al precio que pagas. Cuando nos trajeron la cuenta, nos habían cobrado 10 € de más de cosas que no habíamos pedido, el datáfono no iba, tuvimos que pagar en efectivo y además nos trajeron 10 € de menos en las vueltas, todo esto con la pérdida de tiempo y paciencia que conlleva cada error. Demasiado "despistados" para un sitio tan caro. Si no miras la cuenta ni las vueltas, te vas con 20 € menos y se quedan tan panchos con todo el morro, y eso con el local vacío, no me quiero imaginar si se les llena... Salimos decepcionadas.

A beautiful place and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Nicely designed overall, beautiful garden/pool area. Extremely friendly and competent staff, always helpful, always proactive. Really excellent breakfast and the restaurant A Terra is highly recommendable. Very satisfying restaurant experience every single time. Kids Club took good care of the two monsters, changing activities for the children every day. In short: we will be back after having been there during Easter 2019 and you can book without hesitation, it is worth it.

Fabulous boutique hotel with extremely helpful ans kind staff. Emplacement among trees creates unforgettable vacation atmosphere. Not far from beautiful beach with fine almost white sand.

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! Every single staff is friendly but in a genuine way. The decor of the hotel is beautiful. Very modern and all the details are thought through. Breakfast is one of the best we had. There isn’t an infinit choice but everything is high quality which for me is much more important than having random options.We had a little issue with our room as at Hotels.com the the Sea View room detailed as having separate living room and kitchenette which the Panoramic room, which is cheaper, has. When we got there the room didn’t have that and they said that none of the sea view rooms have those. I’m not sure if the problem came from Hotels.com or the hotel who put the wrong info. The hotel was full and we couldn’t move but the next day they moved us and it was all fine. I contacted Hotels.com who refunded the difference that we paid for the sea view.We are already planning to go back to Algarve and we will most certainly stay again at Praia Verde Boutique Hotel.

Hôtel moderne, superbement décoré. Accueil chaleureux, attentionné. Kids friendly : salle de jeux avec animatrice, lit bébé gratuit, menus enfant au restaurant. Chambre appartement très spacieuse avec kitchenette, salon et chambre. Possibilité de commander au restaurant et de manger dans la chambre/appartement. Petit-déjeuner buffet de bonne qualité, mention spéciale pour le gâteau maison. En revanche, pas d’œufs cuits à la demande et jus d'orange pressé pas vraiment à la hauteur par rapport à ce que l'on peut trouver en Algarve. Autres petits bémols : ménage laissant un peu à désirer (grosse toile d'araignée sous la vasque de la salle de bain), papier toilette de mauvaise qualité et baignoire méritant un bon rafraîchissement/entretien. Autrement, tout est très bien et le rapport qualité/prix est là !

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff and the food in the restaurant is more or less divine. 2 minutes comfortable walk and you are at a wide beachwhich is perhaps 5-6 kilometres long.

Este Hotel siempre será acierto seguro. Si queréis algo íntimo, bien decorado, que os haga sentir como en vuestra propia casa, con unos servicios excelentes y desayunos fantásticos, no hay dudas. Yo busco hoteles como este siempre!

This hotel is great and very relaxing. The fact that the beach is waking distance is fantastic. The hotel itself is so inviting that you don’t even want to leave the grounds since you have everything available. The food is delicious and very well served.

nous avions choisi cette hôtel haut de gamme pour nous reposer....impossible autour de la piscine....de nombreux enfants livrés à eux même, et des chiens de grandes tailles...admis dans cet hotel.... le kids club au niveau de la réception alerte quant à la clientèle.... dommage que les balcons se font face ...du coup pas vraiment d'intimité

O hotel vale pela praia verde e pela envolvente, visto que esta situado em reserva natural. Tem algumas falhas significativas. O restaurante e fraco pelo preço.

Ansprechende Zimmer/Suiten mit Küchenzeile und guter Ausstattung. Sehr engagierte Kinderbetreuung zu den Mahlzeiten am Restaurant und tagsüber am Pool. Hervorragendes Essen im Restaurant, leckeres Frühstück und sehr guter Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Weg zum Strand auch mit kleinem Kind gut machbar.

Wouldn’t be rushing back. Staff were very dismissive at times. When we went down for breakfast we met a waiter before we sat down. We tried to order tea off him but he told us that we must sit down first before we could order.... it took 20 mins before anyone came near us.... he walked past numerous times. Staff seem more interested in talking among themselves than looking after their guests. Definitely over priced hotel for the level of service you receive.

Erstmal das Hotel hat wirklich ein top stylisches modernes Ambiente, die Suiten sind sauber und großzügig mit Schlafzimmer ,Wohn/Esszimmer,Küche und Balkon ausgestattet ,allerdings ist das Bad eher klein und eng und auch die Badewanne mit Glasabtrennung zum Duschen könnte für nicht allzu bewegliche Personen zum Problem werden . Es ist aber ein hochwertiger Haarfön vorhanden ! Auch die Angestellten sind durchwegs sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit sowie immer gut gelaunt .Die Bar ist ganz toll- Rul zaubert super Cocktails! Die Poolbar und das Restaurant A Terra sind ebenso im Danish Style sehr schick und absolut im Trend.Beide Lokale bieten hochwertige ,moderne und raffinierte Gerichte (Fisch/Fleisch/ Vegetarisch / local Food/ Burger) vor allem spitzenmäßige Pizzen aus dem Holzofen . Die Preise bewegen sich im oberen Preissegment ,meiner Meinung aber zu recht. Warum ich nur mit 3 Sternen bewerte hat folgende Gründe und beziehen sich ausschließlich auf unseren Aufenhalt im August 2018! Als wir explizit ein Design und Boutique Hotel buchten ,freuten wir uns besonders auf Ruhe und Entspannung in chilliger Athmosphäre . Allerdings wurden wir in dieser Hinsicht enttäuscht ,denn das Hotel wurde in dieser Zeit von zumeist englisch sprechenden Familen mit scharenweisen Kleinkindern und Babies bevölkert ,deren Eltern das Geschrei und die Rennerei offenbar nichts ausmachte bzw. ignorierten . Somit war der Geräuschpegel quasi ganztägig bis in die Nacht sowohl im Hotel selbst ,im Restaurant ( gingen mit den Kleinen erst sehr spät zum Dinner) und im Poolbereich sehr hoch und erreichte den Charme einer Bahnhofshalle . Wie wir mit mitbekommen haben ,liegt wohl auch seitens des Hotel-Managements der Fokus auf Familien mit kleineren Kindern. Es gibt ein Spielzimmer im Lobbybereich und einen Kids-Club ,was sehr beworben wird. Dies sollte meiner Meinung dann aber auch auf der Hotelhomepage explizit kommuniziert werden ,denn unter „Design und Boutique“ stellen sich bestimmt viele potentielle Gäste etwas Anders vor . Demzufolge war natürlich auch der vorhandene Swimmingpool von Scharen von Kindern in Beschlag genommen ,denn der für Kinder bis 5 Jahren vorgesehene Kinderpool ist überhaupt nicht akzeptabel. Der ist in einer Ecke an einer Mauer gelegen und hat die Größe und den Charme eines Fußwaschbeckens ! Insgesamt ist der Swimmingpool der Hotelgröße entsprechend viel zu klein bemessen ( Bilder im Internet täuschen ) und auch nicht tief genug .Man kann kaum schwimmen ohne sich ständig die Zehen anzustoßen. Zu unserer Zeit war der Pool zusätzlich belegt mit allerlei aufblasbaren Gummitieren ,Schwimmbrettern, Minisurfbretten und Schwimmnudeln , an Schwimmen war nicht zu denken . Empfehlenswert ist der Infintypool im Clube Praia Verde am Strand . Wenn das Hotel vorher anruft bekommt man free Access,ansonsten kostet ein halber Tag für 2 Personen 15 Euro . Außerdem fiel auf,dass die Poolliegen am Morgen genau noch so kreuz und quer standen wie am Vorabend. Desweiteren lag verschiedener Müll wie Papier ,Plastikbecher etc. tagelang herum und flog teilweise wegen des Windes herum . Ich kann mir vorstellen,dass es nicht schön ist ,ständig den Müll der Gäste weg zu räumen,zumal Abfallkörbe vorhanden sind, aber da bin ich in Hotels mit ähnlichem Niveau anderes gewöhnt . Insgesamt ist dies sicher meckern auf hohem Niveau ,aber ich bin der Meinung Rezensionen sollten authentisch und nicht schön gefärbt sein .Potentielle Interessenten sollten diese Tatsachen wissen und ihren Urlaub entsprechend planen können ,wenn ihr Fokus auf Ruhe und Entspannung liegt . In einem anderen Zeitfenster kann ich mir das Praia Verde sehr gut als Urlaubsdestination vorstellen,eventuell auch als Adults only z.b.ab 12 Jahren oder einem zusätzlichem Relaxing Pool . Ich möchte explizit betonen ,ich bin absolut nicht kinderfeindlich,ich bin selbst Mutter und habe auch im meinem Job häufig mit Kindern jeden Alters zu tun ,was mir sehr viel Spaß macht ,aber in meinem Urlaub suche ich Ruhe und Enspannung ,um wieder neue Kräfte zu sammeln.

Gosto sempre muito deste espaço e da refeição cuidada e servida de forma original. Festejamos aqui, os anos do meu neto Vicente. "no meu hotel" como diz do alto dos seus 3 anos.

Nao estávamos hospedados, viemos jantar, mesa marcada para aa 21h30, conseguimos sentarnos as 22:30, entretanto estivemos de pelé no bar 20 min atésernos atendidos e beber um copo em quanto esperávamos. Uma vez sentados, mais 20 mim só para vir uma garrafinha de água e finalmente lá veio alguém perguntar como queríamos desperdiçar o nosso dinheiro. Em resumo, senão nos podemos queixar da qualidade da comida, o serviço é simplesmente um desastre, especulando ficamos com a sensação que a prioridade no restaurante são os hóspedes e as “sobras” é quando der jeito aos empregados, enfim o Algarve em tempo de férias no seu melhor Não recomendávél de todo.

Hotel Petfriendly ideal para ir con tu mascota (si te gustan los ambientes familiares). El personal de hotel es muy amable. Puedes estar en todos los sitios con tu mascota (piscina, hall, Terraza del restaurante). La piscina es grande. Hay un bonito sendero que te lleva a la playa, pero también puedes usar los buggies que te acercan sin cansarte. Tiene gimnasio y está muy bien equipado. El restaurante tiene buena carta. Es conveniente reservar si quieres cenar porque se llena.

Beautiful hidden hotel in the green . Bert beautiful sea view rooms and balcony. Setting is really Nice and interior as well with many details. In Summer packed with children which we did no know. Nice pool bar with fresh food and drinks

A beautiful contemporary hotel with excellent service and food. We had a room on the third floor with amazing views. There were lots of children and we were there as a couple, this is not a criticism but if you want quietness around the pool and in the restaurant I would suggest you go out of season. On the whole a fabulous stay at this beautiful place.

Mi lugar preferido en la zona, el local es genial, muy cool, con tienda y sillones muy cómodos, el personal es encantador, atentos y relajados al mismo tiempo, transmiten muy buena onda. El restaurante una maravilla, magnífica calidad relación calidad-precio, buen vino y cócteles asegurados. No dejéis de probar su pan con manteiga, una locura !!.

Ich bin selten so entspannt aus dem Urlaub heimgekehrt. Wenn es so etwas wie " Barefoot- luxury" wirklich gibt, dann findet es hier statt. Natürlich spielt die gegebene Freundlichkeit aller Portugiesen eine Rolle aber alle Mitarbeiter sind in der Tat außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich. In vielen Hotels sind die Mitarbeiter die keinen direkten Gästekontakt haben ja mitunter kurz angebunden oder stumm wie Fische. Hier ist sogar die Haustechnik von großer Freundlichkeit. Gepaart mit einer exzellenten Gastronomischen Leistung, sowie einer so wunderschönen und liebevollen Ausstattung der gesamten Anlage spielt das Praia Verde- Hotel auch zukünftig eine Rolle in meinen Urlaubsplänen. Einzig die Tatsache, das jeden Morgen zur besten "vor dem Frühstück schwimmen- geh Zeit" zwischen 8 und 9:30 der Pool von einem in aller Ruhe arbeitenden Mitarbeiter gereinigt wurde und so nicht zur Verfügung stand während viele Gäste bereits in Badehose zuschauten, trübt meinen Eindruck ein kleines bisschen. Kann man das nicht wie in anderen Hotels früh erledigen? Mein besonderer Dank gilt Senhor Gustavo Martins, der neben den Fähigkeiten, die man von einem General Manager erwartet eine witzige Herzlichkeit an den Tag legt, das man eigentlich das Gefühl hat zu Freunden nach Hause eingeladen worden zu sein. Ach ja, Strand gibt's auch- und zwar vom Feinsten. Ich fand es Spitze.

Lugar tranquilo, para toda la familia y con un muy buen restaurante. A 5 minutos de la playa andando.

Bonito local acolhedor e com excelentes profissionais.

Prachtig hotel op 5 minuten van het strand. Heerlijk vertoeven in de stijlvolle kamers. Wij hadden een kamer vrij dicht aan de receptie/bar/restaurant waardoor er 's avonds steeds heel veel lawaai is. Dat is een minpunt aan de ligging van de dichte kamers. Het restaurant is echt een aanrader en de tips van de local guide Ryder zijn ook steeds op maat van elk gezin.

Lugar perfecto para descansar y disfrutar de la localización, arquitectura del hotel y de la excelente cocina que ofrecen. Nos encantó.

Os quartos são pequenos e tem uma decoração pouco apelativa. O staf muito pouco acessível e até pareciam estagiários. O Pequeno almoço é razoável. No entanto a nossa estadia coincidiu com a noite da passagem de anos e o jantar foi muito fraco, bem como o programa da noite. Foi caríssimo para as condições apresentadas. Um ponto positivo é o facto de aceitarem animais.

We’ve just been lucky enough to spend a week at Praia Verde and we couldn’t be happier! The place is super kid friendly and set in a great location with amazing staff and fantastic food! HUGE thanks to Pedro who seems to be everywhere doing everything all at once and is brilliant at everything he does! Can’t wait to go back.

This small hotel just blew my mind. First, it has been remodeled so it's really eco-friendly and modern. Then, the staff is so friendly and helpful with everything you need. They have this motto that is about saying always "yes" to any guest. Of course with some limitations, but you can like ask for breakfast at 4 pm. Also the rooms are amazing, with good views and it is extremely quiet and comfortable. Outside you have the pool and also a passage through pine trees that goes to the beach. I really recommend this place especially if you are willing to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation/weekend.

We went here for the beach the hotel was closed as we were out of season. But loved the area and it all looked so fresh and new

This hotel was perfect for us a young family. The balance between design hotel and being kid friendly was just right. The little touches in the kids club of the Halloween trail and a crafting activity everyday meant the kids were entertained while we relaxed. Our suite was well designed and housekeeping was excellent, including freshly baked cookies and bedtime stories for the kids. The gardens and landscaped walk to the beach were beautiful. A thoroughly relaxing break- thank you Praia Verde!

Style over substance. Aesthetically pleasing but bad design for a hotel. Noise from stone inlaid corridors & marble bedroom floors, heavy roller doors on the shower, loud clunky cupboard door mechanisms & rammed full of pre-schoolers, whose parents let them run & squeal in corridors, scream in the dining room & shout all day long at the swimming pool, which is in a baking, walled-terrace setting with nowhere for the noise to escape or air to circulate. Single pool toilet & adjoining shower not nice or kept all that clean & usually had a wet floor that you have to paddle through. This is their nominated late checkout option for a shower before the airport, no thanks! Bed comfortable and room furnishings beautiful & spacious, but without ear plugs you’ll be kept awake late and woken early. Front desk service and room turn down etc. all very good, thanks. Food in restaurant served cold first night - countless meals waiting on the pass under warming lights. Policy to serve kids meals first - by a good 20 minutes, without being asked if that’s what we’d like?! Restaurant service generally slow & a bit disorganised. Breakfast better but Cappuccinos awful, eggs forgotten one day & rather typical of the entire experience was the fact that the coffee cups are trendy metal beakers, so they burn your hands if you have any more than a half filled cup at breakfast! We had booked 5 nights (non-refundable) we managed to stay for 3. Life’s too short. Would not recommend or return.

Very pretty place and well designed. Good breakfast and lunch.Dinner is pricey but very good wine list. The hotel provide a little golf buggy to run you to the beach- the kids loved it! The pool area was very nice and cosy however the chlorine was far too strong; it turned the white in our swimming costumes green! I would recommend it and would also recommend venturing out to other parts of the Algarve....

I wish I could rate higher, I really do. As probably their most frequent customer over 15 years, I saw all kinds of changes on the hotel. From renovations to price changes, been through it all ! Unfourtunately the prices keep increasing, and the services provided do not ! These days its not acceptable to pay 350€ daily and only have a breakfast included, no smart tvs on the bedrooms, such a small pool and next to none hotel grounds. Its a better resort if you are visiting with an extended family with kids and all that, but for a romantic escapade or for relaxing, this is not the place for you.

Entendo o preço praticado pela sazonalidade, no entanto quando se pretende uma política de preços vs imagem/qualidade, deve ter muito mais atenção aos pormenores. Esquecimentos de registo de artigos, entregar prato principal sem retirar os do couvert. Empregados um pouco descordenados. Vale pela imagem, conforto.

An amazing trip and a wonderful hotel. Located in the Algarve region of Portugal this place is a great little nest for traveling through south Portugal and west of Spain. The restaurant in the hotel serves great local delicacies and the staff is friendly and helpful. You have an option to take a picnic basket to a secret location or the beach which is prepared at the same kitchen with the same care and quality. The room was spacious and comfortable with a stunning view on the ocean. The sandy beach nearby was one of the longest I have ever walked on which is probably the biggest benefits of this place since you can go for a nice walk as many times a day as you please. The guys at the hotel even went the extra mile and prepared the perfect chocolate cake for my wife's birthday.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, restaurant is brilliant and an excellent beach close by. Couldn't have been happier with our stay. Thanks again!

Loin des foules, dans un cadre nature. Belles chambres, service sympa. Un petit bémol concernant la suite occupée par nos amis : placée à côté de la salle de sport, ils étaient réveillés tôt le matin par les utilisateurs qui faisaient du tapis ou laisssient tomber les haltères, bruits et vibrations ressenties ! Ce qui révèle une mauvaise isolation, bien dommage dans un etablissement de ce gabarit. Plus les bruits vers 0100 du matin, vennant apparemment des cuisines ou caves... Évacuation des poubelles ?....

Absolutamente UNICO. Um hotel de familias que conseguiu transformar se num lugar de Culto. Tudo excelente sem exibicionismo. O chefe David faz do á Terra ( que é o nome partilhado pelos outros hotéis da DHM ) o único digno do pedigree que aqui se fundou. Aliás o Praia Verde, Direcção, staff , serviços e amenities é uma experiencia que não devia geminar se.... mas não pode perder se!

Super Hotel mit tollem Restaurant und wirklich superfreundlichem Personal. Auch die Zimmer sind wirklich groß und ganz besonders haben mir auch die À Terra-Kekse gefallen, die man jeden Tag bekam. :) Auf jeden Fall konnten wir einen erholsamen Urlaub verbringen, auch wenn es noch etwas wärmer hätte sein können.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The staff are attentive and the rooms are spacious, clean and have an incredible view of the surrounding nature and ocean. Breakfast was great and the staff at the restaurant are so nice! The restaurant A Terra is a quality restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend this place if you want to disconnect and relax.

Leider waren soviel Familien mit Kleinkinder da, dass die Lautstärke beim frühstück als auch beim Abendessen wie in einer bahnhofshalle war. Schade, Paare sollten deshalb gut überlegen. Frühstück sehr ausgewogen und gut, leider täglich dasselbe und nicht mal am Sonntag etwas extravagantes. Abendessen gute Auswahl nur leider überteuert. T-Bon Steak für über 60 Euro ist einfach übertrieben. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt, da der Strand toll ist und die Lage an sich sehr ruhig ist.

Kinderfreundliches Hotel, es gab Spielzeug in jedem Zimmer. Die Anlage war ordentlich, aber eher klein. Weiter Weg zum Strand. Eigentlich war alles i.O., aber den Wunsch, dort nochmals zu übernachten, haben wir nicht.

Trata se de um local reservado, calmo e bonito, moderno e com piscina, bastante acessível de uma saída da autoestrada A22 e da estrada nacional 125. Fica muito perto da Praia Verde, que é muito linda. Pode-se ir a pé pela praia até Monte Gordo ou até mesmo Vila Real de Santo António. Ideal para recarregar energias e descansar.

Estarei aí ainda este mês. Parece-me ser a melhor escolha

Hotel muito, muito Bom! Totalmente renovado há um ano atrás, com muito bom gosto e cuidado em todos os pormenores. O staff é super atencioso e simpático. A comida é igualmente divinal. Em Suma, trata-se de um 4**** superior a muitos hoteis de 5***** em que eu já fiquei. RECOMENDO!

Mucho diseño pero un buen paseo hasta la playa, y olores de cocina en el bar, pegado al restaurante.

Hotel precioso y con mucho encanto

We went to the hotel as a couple and it certainly felt like somewhere more appropriate for families. The room was spotless and had everything you would want. But although the hotel ticked many boxes, we felt it lacked it atmosphere and small details made a real difference. A large TV was playing football in the lobby/ restaurant area which we didn’t find particularly relaxing. The bar is very much in the middle of the restaurant so there was nowhere to sit and have a quiet drink before and after dinner. We had high hopes for the restaurant having read good reviews but were sorely disappointed. The pizzas were bland and did not taste as though they had just come out of a pizza oven, the sweet potato fries were terrible and even the roasted vegetables lacked in flavour. I certainly would not recommend the restaurant to anyone. Although we went out of season, the hotel is very close to the beach which is definitely a plus. I was expecting a boutique hotel and I wouldn’t say Praia Verde fits the bill for that.

Exceptional hotel. Staff are helpful, friendly and very well trained. Food is amazing and facilities also excellent. I cannot fault this hotel.

We travelled to Praia Verde for the first time with our Labrador cross and we were greeted by two of the loveliest girls we have ever met at a reception desk. Susanna and Barbara were so wonderful with him and he loved the walks down to the beach through the hotel gardens. We will definitely go back because they just made the whole experience so pleasant for us and our dog. The food in the Restaurant where there is a dedicated area for people travelling with dogs was very good, not cheap but a great standard and a lovely ambience. Again the staff were just wonderful . Breakfast was buffet style and not too many choices but perfectly adequate for most tastes. Just a really good experience.

Magnifico hotel, emplazaiento y staff

Hotel requintado e bem localizado, perfeito para férias com a família ou em trabalho. Quartos modernos com vista para o mar e com uma cama super confortável. O restaurante A Terra, com pratos deliciosos, oferece uma ementa variada com produtos locais frescos. Uma palavra calorosa para o staff, organizados, simpáticos e muito atenciosos...uma experiência para repetir em breve com a família.

This is just a great hotel. Very friendly staff. Best food I had in Portugal, sadly just ate there twice. Food is much better than in the surrounding restaurants. Not a single negative thing I could think of. We will definitely visit again.

Boutique Hotel Praia Verde. É simplesmente local inequívoco de grande calor humano e boa hospitalidade. Cozinha À TERRA... dá um toque de satisfação, no mínimo magistral, ao apreciador gastronómico mais exigente. Entretanto o Mar oferece uma brisa com aroma a pinhal, quando desfrutamos do sossego sentados junto à piscina. Recomendo o Boutique Hotel Praia Verde em qualquer altura do Ano. I didn't actually sleep there, i just visited on behalf of a client. The hotel is really nice, nice spaces and restaurant. There's a pool, an outside bar, a gym a meeting room... The staff is friendly and you do get the feeling that they're open to make any accomodation you might need (in this case, a company meeting). Rooms are cosy,clean and with a view. We had lunch at à Terra, their restaurant, and the pizzas were good. Unfortunately, we didn't enough to see the hotel in the evening. The thing I liked the most was the attitude of the staff. They're available and helpful, but they manage to stay casual and very friendly without compromising the professional service on offer. The photo is from a sort of Tapas they serve at dinner as an appetizer.

We got a nice room with a beautiful sea view. Decoration is cosy and modern at the same time. Good food. Very pleasant stay overall

We had a great relaxing stay with a 3 year old. We loved the pool the food was great and we especially loved the amazing breakfast spread. The beach is very clean and sandy and theres a nice walk there from the hotel.

Chic family boutique. Great food, comfortable cool rooms, sheltered pool and short walk to magnificent beach. Amazing for little children.

Me gustó la tranquilidad, la habitación, las vistas desde la planta tercera, las instalaciones y, especialmente, la amabilidad de las personas que trabajan en este alojamiento.

O conceito é, o hotel vai até si, muito bom.

Hotel com localização excepcional, sossegado, num dos empreendimentos mais reservados do Algarve. Serviço muito bom, sempre atentos e simpáticos (nem parece que estamos no Algarve) e quartos muito bem decorados e com vista sobre o mar.

Excelente espaço, atendimento 5*, pequeno almoço bastante variado muito bom e com produtos caseiros, cozinha maravilhosa sobretudo as pizzas, muito clean. Excelente para relaxar sobretudo na parte exterior onde se encontra um bar, na sombra das árvores ao som de um pequeno riacho e pássaros. Há noite a 5 quinta sinfonia passa a ser acompanhada com a música dos grilos 5*. Recomendo vivamente.

Wir waren schon das zweite Mal im Praia Verde Boutique Hotel. Es liegt in einem Pinienwäldchen umgeben von Villen. Fussweg zum (sensationellen) Strand nur einige Minuten. Ein PKW ist dringend zu empfehlen, da der nächste Supermarkt in Altura gelegen ist. Außerdem kann man ganz hervorragend und günstig im ca. 7 km entfernten Vila Real de Santo Antonio Essen gehen.

cet hôtel est très bien situé, dans un endroit calme ( ce qui nest pas souvent le cas au Portugal ! )Tout est fait pour faire plaisir aux résidants. Le personnel est très attentif à vos désirs ou besoins.

Es war genauso wie wir uns das gewünscht haben. Ein kleines feines Designhotel mit sehr nettem Personal, leckerem Frühstück und gutem Restaurant. Die Lage ist super, nicht direkt am Strand, aber in Strandnähe...mit Leihwagen, der sowieso zu empfehlen ist, kein Problem. Allerdings auch zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Es war sehr schön....!

Excelente hotel e as pizzas do restaurante terra são imperdíveis

Das hochwertige Natur-Konzept des Hotels ist in jedem Detail erkenn- und erlebbar. Die Rezeptionsumgebung, der Bar-,Restaurant- und Terrassenbereich sowie der Außenbereich mit Poolbar, Pool und Gartenanlage sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail erschaffen. Man fühlt sich von der ersten Sekunde an wohl und richtig. Unser Zimmer war auch einfach perfekt. Wir hatten ein großzügiges Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Wohn- und Schlafzimmer (jeweils mit TV), einer kleinen Küchenzeile und ein schönes Bad mit hochwertigen Körperprodukten (Shampoo, Duschgel und Bodylotion). Einbauschränke bieten viel Staufläche, das Bett ist groß und sehr bequem. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles was man für ein gutes Hotelfrühstück benötigt. Absolut einwandfrei. Alle Produkte sind hochwertig und liebevoll dargereicht. Das Abendessen im Restaurant des Hotels war ebenfalls zur vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam, die Karte vielfältig und alle Produkte hochwertig und sehr lecker. Von Vorspeise über Hauptspeise bis zum Nachtisch hat uns alles sehr gut geschmeckt, die optische Präsenation war immer besonders.

Excellent hotel restaurant totalement renove appartenant au groupement Design Hotel. Le cadre est magnifique, l equipe tres sympa et le restaurant de tres bonne qualite. Seul petit bemol la plage un peu eloigne (800 m) accessible via un petit chemin neanmoins ageable.

Excelente decoracao. Recomendo as pizzas no forno. Relaxe na esplanada. Perto de uma praia, com agua morna e muito segura para adultos e crianças. Optimo para relaxar mas sem estar completamente isolado. A escassos minutos de Monte Gordo e Vila Real de Santo Antonio.

Ich war 5 tage in dem hotel, man sollte sich ein auto mieten, wenn man sich an der Algarve Städte anschauen möchte. Ansonsten ist der Gehweg,der direkt vom Hotel aus beginnt zum Strand nicht weit. Tolles Hotel in toller Lage,zum Flughafen bin ich ca. 40 Minuten über die Autobahn gefahren

Our stay was great. First we were placed in a ground floor room close to the lobby and the children's playroom. This was so noisy that we asked to be switched to another room, which was done without a problem. Our second room was quietly located on the first floor with a few of the ocean and the area around the hotel (lots of green, beautiful). The hotel has a nice garden and swimming pool outside. The beach is about a 10 minute walk through a lovely villa neighborhood and then the dunes. The rooms are like small apartments and have a fridge, stove, microwave and even cutlery, plates, pots and pans. So if you plan on staying longer it's also very convenient. The restaurant at the hotel is very nice and special. It is a restaurant that is worth visiting even if you don't stay at the hotel. They have a special oven and very special dishes using local ingredients. The breakfast is also amazing, as well as the service! We would like to come back.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Direct access to the beach and a great pool area with delicious food (try out the "prego no pão"). Pet friendly which makes it even more special. Highly recommend it!

The overall impression is good but we found it overpriced. Room is good but room amenities are inexistent, no complementary mineral water, no newspaper etc. food quality is average even if breakfast buffet is complete. The worst thing during the 4 days was their very bad Internet access system. Every single time you connect, you have to enter your username/password for every single device you may have. They really need to fix it because after 4 nights, we were very annoyed by it.

Sehr gutes Hotel, super Pool & Terrasse mit einer tollen Aussicht. Das beste ist die Top Strandlage! Einer der schönsten Sandstrände an der Algarve. Ansonsten liegt das Hotel etwas abseits, in einer Anlage mit Ferienhäusern und Villen und sonst nicht viel mehr.

Wir waren ende Mai 2011 in diesem Hotel. Zimmer - eine grosse Suite bekamen wir schon um 9:30. Ich hatte das Gefühl dass wir da allein sind.... Außerdem ist die Lage sehr gut. Von dort kann man zu Fuß in 10 Minuten Kilometerlangen Strand erreichen. Tolle Ausstattung im Zimmer, Kochnische , Kühlschrank , Mikrowelle, TV. In der Suite hatten wir 2 Zimmer- Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer.Schöner Pool am Hotel, zweiter am Restaurant Panoramico, tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit viel Auswahl und frischen Orangensaft , in der Nähe viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, am besten Mietwagen dazu buchen.Wetter war hervorragend 31 Grad, das atlantische Wasser war auch warm.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die geschmackvolle Ausstattung hat uns besonders beeindruckt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
