The town is cute but they're spending so much money on unnecessary construction and rebuilding of properties and can't even improve their animal shelter. when Portugal including Tavira has so many stray cats and dogs. I'm glad killing the strays has become illegal since this year but they also deserve good living conditions. Or at least decent living conditions. We found a stray dog and the lady working there or the people generally working at canil municipal de Tavira are unbelievable rude and not helpful in the least. But that's another story. But she did mention that the canil has space for 20 dogs and have 50. So what I'm not understanding is why Tavira isn't investing into this, it's not an expensive matter and even if, it's an absolutely necessary matter! You're not even allowed to look at the dogs because the conditions they live in are so bad. I very very very much urge Tavira to do CHANGE THIS.

Plaza del Ayuntamiento con una fuente en su parte delantera y junto al río, con unas vistas muy buena y un parque con jardines. A veces se hacen conciertos ya que la plaza tiene una especie de anfiteatros.

Bonita cidade, bonitas praias, no entanto quando se vai mais para interior encontra-se muito desleixo, estradas com muito lixo nas bermas, não têm marcação. Acho que atendendo ao turismo que têm podiam fazer mais, pois o turismo não é só praia.

Antes era un pueblo tranquilo hasta la llegada masiva de turistas...tiene una preciosa playa en una islita donde se tiene que acceder en barco

Bonita cidade, muito tranquila

Tavira é a segunda cidade do Algarve a quem estou ligado por motivos familiares. Pois, a minha falecida Mãe era natural do concelho de Tavira. Por outro lado, foi em Tavira que comecei o meu percurso de militar no CISM. Adoro Tavira por ser uma cidade muito interessante e bonita.

Tavira e o 25 de ABRIL ! VIVA A REVOLUÇÃO DOS CRAVOS !

Hoje não houve recolha de lixo, nem vai haver até ao dia 4 de janeiro, sublinho que a empresa taviraverde está fechada desde antes do dia 31 de Dezembro, 4 dias sem recolha. Fica a informação para qualquer turista que pense vir a visitar Tavira. O lixo nas ruas acumula-se! Tenham vergonha.

Bom trabalho. Ainda há muito para fazer.
