My wife and I had an amazing experience here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel has a lot of character, is spotlessly clean and the patios are great spots to relax and have a glass of wine. We were sad to go and would definitely go back!

Perfect place, very nice terrace and amazing breakfast. The rooms have aircon and our room had a small balcony as well. They offer different types of exercursions, we didn't try any, but I guess they would all be worth a try. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is very good as well. Best place in Tavira!

Jättetrevligt bemötande när vi kom och fantastiskt fint och stort rum. Trevliga allrum och altaner. Bra läge i stan och nära till centrum. Härlig frukost och inga problem att jag har celiaki och behöver glutenfri mat. Mycket mysigare än ett vanligt hotell. Rekommenderas!

The only disappointment with this hotel was that our guide book (Lonely Planet) indicated that it had a plunge pool but it wasn't operational and the rooftop terrace needed some new furniture and sunshades as some of it was quite worn out. Otherwise, the hotel is in a good location within 5 minutes walk of the old town. The breakfast was tasty and the room and bathroom were of a decent standard, although the mezzanine area in the suite is not made for tall people.

Sin duda volvería a alojarme si vuelvo a Tavira.

Lovely Guest House! Met at the doors with a welcoming drink on the quaint terrace. Morracan touches throughout. Very friendly helpful staff. Great location in a lovely little village. Great place to recharge.

We had to check-in for one. night due to a power problem at our own apartment. Big mistake, the main issue and it is a big issue is that the rooms are damp. You can smell it when you go through the front being disguised with candles however the rooms much worse. Do not unpack clothes as they will be damp in the morning. For health reasons be very careful. It is a shame as there are a some nice people there and the main sitting room looked nice. I don't know what was paid for the 1 night stay however I would not stay at any cost. Very bad experience.

Loved this place . Very tasteful, full of style . Christophe and staff welcomed us like we were family .
look carefully as the sign at the door is subtle , but the fun with color inside makes you smile. I won’t spoil the surprises. The welcome was charming , the room was comfortable despite being small , the terrace was a bonus of cozy lounging sofas, and the Breakfast was simple but served perfectly. Plus the town Tavira is a highlight of the algarve. Highly recommended :)

Excepto la habitación que era un poco pequeña (no así el baño) el sitio es correcto (y nada más) tanto en ubicación, personal y ambiente. Tavira se está poniendo de moda y me da a mí que se está sobrevalorando algunos hoteles de la zona.

Tavira house would have to be one of my favourite places to stay! The staff were so wonderful, friendly and helpful with great local tips. The rooms were spacious, stylish and super comfortable and the communal areas were so beautifully styled and amazing to relax in. Breakfast was absolutely delicious every day. We had three nights and couldn't fault a thing. Terrific hotel - thank you!

Would give this place a 6 if I could. Was a little skeptical of the algarve given its touristy reputation. tavira house, and tavira itself, changed all of that. The staff, sun deck, pool, bar, and price-- everything was great.
It was clear a lot of love was put in to creating the tavira house expirence. The perfect getaway from New York City (my home) or whereever your coming from.

Das Tavira House Hotel ist ein Traum. Es ist in einem alten Gebäude, welches aber TOP saniert wurde. Die allgemeinen Räume sind feudal und hervorragend restauriert, die Dachterrasse ist im Sommer eine tolle Relaxzone, und die kleine Hotelbar bietet so manche Überraschung. Der Chef ist wirklich extrem gastfreundlich und erfüllt einem alle Wünsche. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls top neu gemacht, alles war rundum gut.
Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, der ist auch sehr klein. Aber durch die Lage ist man ja auch schnell am Meer.

Hello,
I just want to say how amazing and helpful Tavira House was in refunding my money when my wife became ill due to pregnancy and could not travel. The manager went above and beyond the call of duty and was very quick to help with the refund. I can honestly say how happy I am with his abilities and to help use recover the money that can be placed towards my baby savings account.
I can not wait to come together with the new baby once he/she is flight ready.
