Nice place clean and fresh looking, fish was excellent, and the ommelet was good too. Staff friendly and helpful.

We ordered tuna a la Agarvia and grilled tuna. The food was fine
but overpriced in our opinion. We got un unpleasant suprise when we got our check, namely we got our appetizers added to the check (almoat 5 euro). We didnt order them, we thought they wanted to treat us. Very not european, will not come back for sure.

Amazing seafood, I had the octopus and it was the best I've had. Good view across the river and tables outdoors in shade as well as a good indoor area and spotless facilities. Recommended!

Comida mediocre. Pedimos carne y nos la trajeron carbonizada. Los camareros te vacilan en todo momento y se ríen en tu cara. Le pedimos la cuenta y nos dijo “si, mañana”.

Nothing special and maybe slightly overpriced for the quality - but it was alright. The meals we had were nice although nothing to write home about. There’s options for those who are gluten intolerant, lots of fish/meat and potato meals. Staff were okay, although not all of them were very cheerful!

Muy recomendable. Especialidad en pulpo, a la casa, con almejas, a lagareiro... Y los postres caseros muy buenos. Buen servicio y buen lugar. Un acierto por seguir las reseñas de otros clientes.

Nice staff. Expensive price for the meals offered but a bit like any restaurant in this very touristic city. The octopus salad is a usual one. The octopus rice is not bad at all.

Mal servicio. Mala atención al cliente. Nada recomendable. El tiempo de espera para traer los platos es de más de cuarenta minutos. Es un lugar a evitar entre las opciones de Tavira. Pides atún, se equivocan y traen pez espada, lo reclamas y te dicen que estas equivocado. Cobran las aceitunas aunque avises de que no las has consumido (algo que en ningún lugar de Portugal nos ha ocurrido al traer la cuenta). Se comenta que la cuenta está mal y lo rebaten creando malestar por engrosar el ticket dos miseros euros. Aprovechan que uno esta de vacaciones y no quiere conflictos para utilizar este tipo de estrategias para ampliar el ticket medio de cada mesa, lo cual indica que es un restaurante de paso turístico que cuida muy poco al cliente.

Mitten im Zentrum vom belebten Tavira kann man hier auch in den späten Abendstunden noch köstlich Speisen.
Man darf keine Spitzengaszronomie erwarten aber das essen war trotzdem schmackhaft und die Preise sind absolut fair.

Grosse arnaque. Le serveur est un beau parleur. J'ai demandé un morceau de pain , j'ai mangé une croûte et j'ai paye 1.50 e. Le verre de vin à 3.00 euros . La bouteille d'eau à 3.00e. et les brochettes de lotte ( trois morceaux,) et deux gambas. 15.50 e.
Une table pas vraiment agréable. À bon entendeur. Salut.

Maten var riktigt god MEN i väntan på den får vi bröd, ost och oliver som vi upplever att bi bjuds på eftersom vi inte blev tillfrågade om vi ville ha detta, men det sattes upp på notan!!.
Sallad till maten bestående av en assiett med1/2 tomat, några lökringar, lite rårivna morötter och några salladsblad = 65:- !!!!

Du får in Oliver och ostar och bröd som man inte beställt men du får betala så se upp . Maten var ok men förstår inte att en sallad med en halv tomat fyra gurkskivor sen grönsallad och 2 lökbitar kostar €6,50 I detta land där grönsaker är billiga. Så tråkigt.

Family of 10 for dinner, catering well for Veggies and some of the best Fish dishes I've ever ate. Salmon, Swordfish, Hake and Shrimps, fresh and tasty as you like, extremely well prepared and beautifully presented each dish. Service of also fine, and I would say the male waiters aren't too shy in asking/hinting for BIG tip.

All dishes were oversalted, melon was underripe, staff were pushy with the bread/olives, and nothing exciting or new on the menu. Had read the review that said it wasn't like all the other tourist traps on the street - totally disagree.

Surprised to find a resto with such a german influence. However We wanted something robust and tasty and this was really good. Tavira has a lot of ex -pats so you take the diverse menus as a refection of its culture.

Clean premises & generous portions - visited twice!
Myself and a friend visited twice on a weekday evening in early April. Our first visit was after returning from Tavira Island.
Pros:
-Clean premises.
-Plentiful indoor seating and some outdoor seating.
-English speaking staff and English menu. The waitress - Maria - was particularly helpful and is a credit to the business.
-Generous sized portions.
-On my first visit I ate bread, butter and olives (€1.50) and a bread crumbed pork steak (€9.95). On my second visit a ate the soup of the day (€3.50) and hake fillets with bread crumbs (€10.95).
-We were particularly impressed with the electronic pepper dispenser!
-Background music - VH1 on TV.
-Free WiFi - ask staff for password.
Cons:
-Some tables close together.

Le déco est top, les serveurs gentils, accueillants, tout en restant très pro.
Les plats choisis; poissons, viande et menu enfant étaient tous excellents. On nous a même proposé une sélection de poisson frais à cuisiner de suite pour nous surprendre. Le dessert était divin.
Même l'addition était plus que correcte: 50€ pour 3 avec plats (dorade et côte de boeuf et menu enfant, boissons et 2 desserts à la carte)
Bref un endroit génial découvert totalement au hasard qui vaut le détour. On est encore dans la région pour quelques jours, alors nous y retournerons très vite.

Super Restaurant! Sehr gemütlich und chic eingerichtet. Das Essen ist toll und nicht zu teuer. Kindergerichte für 5 Euro. Teilweise sprechen die Kellner gut deutsch und haben noch ein paar gute Tipps rund um Tavira... Es lohnt sich!!
