Self-service . Excelente relação qualidade preço porquanto é barato e a comida é saborosa. Ideal para uma refeição rápida quando se visita Sintra e nao se quer perder tempo no restaurante.
Na entrada o wine bar é acolhedor com musica ambiente onde se pode beber um copo e conviver ou simplesmente repousar de uma caminhada pela serra.

Food was excellent here ! Had the Cod (forget the full name of the dish) but it was fantastic. Staff were incredibly friendly as well. We went after going to Pena Palace and Castelo dos Mouros and recommend others do as well.

아시안분들 가지마세요.. 가격은 괜찮은데..
7명 앉으려도 하니까 자리가 있음에도 다 따로따로 앉고.. 음식또한 다 안된다고 할뿐 아니라 / 제가 시킬땐 메뉴 없다고 안된다고 하더니, 다른 서양분들은 그 음식이 나오고 있었어요!!..
세명이 시켰는데 다 따로따로 30분간격으로 나오고, 스테이크랑 생선요리도 1시간(?) 걸리는데 계속 기다리라고만 하고있어요 :)

Very good food (there are a couple of vegetarian options as well) & nice staff. It's a tiny place, so for the dinner make sure to book a table (no reservations for lunch though).

Fantástico restaurante. Relación calidad precio insuperable, fuimos cuatro personas y cenamos con vino por menos de 20 euros cada uno. El bacalao a bras y el arroz negros están exquisitos, y el bolo gelado de chocolate...que delícia... Los camareros muy simpáticos y atentos, un gran servicio. Muy muy recomendable

맛은 진짜 인정할만해요
문어 진짜 부드럽고 올리브유의 향이 너무 좋았구요
빵은 사실 별로입니다
볶음밥인줄 알았던 대구 감자 볶음도 맛있었어요!
저는 고수의 향을 싫어하는데 빼달라하지못해서 그냥 같이 먹었는데 요리와 어우러지는 맛이더라구용.
고수 너무 싫어하시는 분들아니면 같이 드셔보는 거도 괜찮을거 같아요.
약간 음식이 비싸지만 관광지인거 생각하면 괜찮구요

Nos hicieron esperar 1 hora por un plato ínfimo de secreto ibérico, ternera...etc. los fritos estaban hechos con un aceite muy malo q me sentó regular. No es barato. Nada recomendable

A lovely, cosy place for tapas and a glass of wine after a day exploring Sintra‘s historic sights. The waiter recommended a beautiful vinho verde for us - crisp, light and slightly fizzy. The Japanese tempura octopus was absolutely heavenly, and the sausage croquettes were another favourite. Great place!!

El sitio estaba lleno y estamos en la cola para entrar y nos dijeron que molestabamos allí y que volviesemos a los 45 minutos ya que no aceptaban reservas. Regresamos a los 2 minutos y estaba apuntando a los siguientes. Muy desencantados con el trato ya no volveremos.

Dos personas para cenar de tapas (curioso lo del nombre en Portugal).Tomamos pulpo en tempura, hojaldre con queso, croquetas de embutido portugués y para mi lo mejor, los champiñones rellenos de este embutido. Para rematar una mouse de chocolate y milhojas de manzana, todo con una cerveza grande y vino tinto. Algo caro para la cantidad, pero un trato muy agradable por parte del personal que lo compensa. La comida muy decente aunque creo que habríamos acertado más con una sopa y un plato principal de carne o pescado. De lo mejorcito de la zona, teniendo en cuenta lo turístico que es Sintra.

Our food was very bland, rice was soupy, and i found a staple in my food. Mentioned it to the waiter and he was completely unfazed and they didn’t even offer to do anything about it. Also we asked for water, never received it and were still charged. Honestly don’t believe the great reviews, probably just a tourist trap

점심시간보다 조금 이르게 갔는지 줄안서고 바로 들어갈 수 있었어요. 문어 요리 먹으려다 문어는 안된다해서 추천받은 hake fish? 요리였는데 여행하면서 먹은 음식 중에 제일 맛있었어요! 직원 중 한분은 되게 무뚝뚝하고 무서웠는데 그다음부터 담당해주신 분은 너무나 친절해서 기분좋게 먹었어요.

Sitio muy acojedor. Comida buenísima, servicio simpático. Todo lo que probamos estaba impecable. Los vinos que la casa recomienda maridan perfectamente con los platos. Sintra es una ciudad I olvidable y este restaurante es un icono. Vale cada céntimo.

Small but cozy, romantic place for a glass of wine. We also ordered the cheese tray with a delicious selection of local cheeses. The house bottle of Tinto from Douro was excellent. So glad we stumbled on this place!

Petit restaurant sympathique un peu en retrait avec des escaliers.
Chaise pour enfant à placer sur la table.
Service rapide et efficace. Personnel très sympathique, prévenant.
Le plat du jour 'Pataniscas de bacalhau' était bon et bien servi.
Le poulpe était bon, mais pas beaucoup en quantités et un chouillat trop cuit.

À conseiller absolument, nous y avons souper et la nourriture est au top ! Le personnel est au top ! Et les vins sont incroyables ! Un authentisme et un régal sans pareil à Sinatra !

I was recommended this place because the villa 6 kitchen was closing early (low season). Overpriced for the food. Really good pork but served with supermarket mashed potatoes (do they think we won't recognize the taste?) . Not enough served. The bread, the cheese and the wine were really good, so maybe the tapas are better.

Piacevolemente Sintra.
Siamo capitati in questo splendido ristorante sotto consiglio di un passante del posto. Il ristorante al suo interno è ben tenuti e veramente molto accogliente. Il personale è gentilissimo ed all'altezza. Il mangiare è davvero buono anche se il prezzo è leggermente superiore alla media portoghese, qui, mangiare, è un piacere!

在來逛辛特拉的時候，順便來吃這家餐廳，點了烤章魚和沙朗牛排，章魚的份量偏少，牛排直接煮到太老。剛開始吃到的時候以為葡萄牙餐廳都是這樣，後來才發現，真的技術不太好。

My family and I had just the most amazing dining experience on our family holiday. We were cared for by Leandro, he was charming, funny and he had the most incredible knowledge about the local wines that complemented our meal. If you are visiting Sintra this restaurant is a must! I can’t thank Leandro enough for the perfect end to an incredible day spent in this beautiful town.

Romaria de Baco situado na Vila de Sintra. Ao olhar o restaurante por fora se vê um lugar simples, pequeno, sem tantos atributos. Porém ao entrar se trata de um lugar extremante acolhedor, o atendimento então das meninas foi surpreendente Margarida e Mariana não pouparam esforços para nos agradar e fizeram nossa viagem a Sintra muito mais feliz!!! A comida foi maravilhosa, caseira, dessas que só se come em casa. A energia do restaurante e dos funcionários foi maravilhosa. Eu e meu marido voltamos lá mais 2 vezes em dias seguidos. Nós recomendamos muito esse restaurante a qualquer pessoa pois realmente é muito bom em todos os sentidos da palavra.Nota um milhão para vcs. Que continuem prosperando e crescendo cada vez mais. E continuem a receber as pessoas sempre assim c tanto carinho. E o bolo gelado de nata c amêndoas e cobertura leve de chocolate. Esse foi o melhor bolo que comi em toda minha vida. Costumo dizer que essa comida de vcs aí merece todo o nosso respeito. Obrigada a todos por terem nos recebido tão bem.

This is a great little place for Portuguese Tapas. We also had tenderloins. We had many items and liked them all - cheese plate, calamari, puff pastries filled with sausage, and also puff pastries filled with ham and cheese, scrambled eggs with sausage (although the English menu claims they were “scrumbled” eggs, they looked scrambled to us!), a zucchini vegetarian dish, and some wine and water. The total check was 121€. Hope you enjoy! We did!

Friendly people, not a large card, however, it was a hard choise. Well prepared codfish and porc. Certainly enough to fill an empty stomach after a days hiking tour tothe palace de Pena. Good wines, good advice too

Small, cozy gem in the middle of Sintra. We had a mix of tapas and the pork chop special (Wednesday lunch special), and everything was delicious. The pork chop was probably the best I have ever had; the sauce was slightly sweet, which worked well with the chop.

Ok, after dining at Maria Catita in Lisbon I wouldn't expect to find even better place. I was wrong. Our family meal at Romaria del Baco was simply delicious. Wonderful soup, great black sausage, and amazing main course. Also, a home-made white wine, which we fell in love with. All of this at affordable prices. Finally, great service, fluent in at least two foreign languages, as we happened to witness. I just hope we'll visit this restaurant again.

Delicious, freshly made and surprisingly affordable portuguese traditional food, served until as late as 23 hours in the night.
The restaurant is not very big which was nice it felt so cosy and the staff was friendly, funny and ready to satisfy. I will surely comeback.

Great little spot steps away from the Sintra tourism centre. Tapas are reasonably priced and food is high quality. Excellent wine selection as well.

1시반이전에 가셔야 웨이팅 안하십니다. 서빙하시는 여자분이 영어도 잘하시고 와인도 여러개 추천하고 시음하게 해주셔서 좋았습니다. 문어스테이크, 스테이크, 대구요리 먹었는데 같이 주는 시금치, 감자부터 엄청 맛있고 같이 간 애들 다 겁나 맛있다고 합니다. 셋이서 와인까지 62유로정도 나왔습니다.

Vinimos a cenar,después de un primer intento en el que estaba todo lleno.Nos ha encantado.Local en el que hablan inglés y castellano.Ambiente muy agradable y servicio bueno y rápido.Destacar también que era de los pocos lugares abiertos más tarde de las 8-8.30.
Los platos principales grandes y de buena calidad.

Ristorantino piccolo ma molto accogliente. Qualità del cibo e cucina fantastica. Peccato per la disorganizzazione del personale. 3 persone in sala, 20 posti, e due in cucina e circa 2 ore e mezza per mangiare!!!! Un po' troppo. Da migliorare sicuramente

Wanted to eat here for lunch after seeing the reviews. We arrived 15 mins before they opened (1pm) and they rudely told us to leave. As we were waiting outside for the restaurant to open, they proceeded to ungraciously and rudely tell us to leave as we were blocking their entrance. We were merely waiting for their restaurant to open!
Rude and unpleasant service staff with a tone that was uncalled for. Do not patronise unless you support rude service staff. There are much better restaurants a stone's throw away with excellent food AND service.

THE BEST dining experience I have ever had. The staff makes your experience one to remember and the freshly cooked... everything takes things above and beyond!!
They will help you pick out the perfect wine, are extremely friendly and honest and the kitchen whips up amazing dishes.
Come hungry—leave a friend. Wish we were staying longer so we could have come again.

Had to wait 40 minutes until the food arrived despite there were only 7 people in total inside the restaurant. We were told that cooking takes long in response to that. Totally normal. Afraid to imagine waiting times when this place is full. I also wasn't a fan of the pool of oil, in which my fish arrived, if a piece of fish falls into it - have fun washing your clothes. After all this time fish still had a lot bones. Prices are very high for Portugal. Definitely just a tourist rip off.

Chegámos às 11h50, o restaurante estava vazio e os empregados na conversa. Perguntámos se podíamos almoçar, ao que o empregado de mesa nos responde que só a partir das 12h15. Perguntámos se podíamos sentar e esperar e o mesmo empregado responde que para esperar teria de ser na rua. Acho que para cartão de visita não foi simpático, ainda para mais numa altura em que a restauração está em baixo. Não recomendo.

Июль, вечер, в ресторане непрерывный поток посетителей. Столики стоят очень тесно. Потому можно только просто поужинать. Посидеть, расслабиться, отдохнуть не получится. Может не в столь напряженное время.

감바스랑 포르투갈식 소세지 앤 스크램블에그, 홍합요리, 돼지고기 요리랑 와인 먹었습니당 감바스랑 홍합, 돼지고기는 맛있었구용 와인 역시 훌륭했지만 소세지 앤 스크램블에그는 그냥 그랬어욤 ㅠ 식사하다보니 손님이 거의 한국인인걸 봐서 약간 한국인 맛집같은 느낌이긴 한데 그래도 맛있고 친절해서 좋았습니당 신트라 관광오실때 들러서 식사하시면 좋을것같아요!

Excellent et chaleureux à un prix raisonnable.
Une vraie bonne surprise, où il faut penser réserver car même le soir en semaine tout était plein.
Nous avons découvert ce restaurant par sa très bonne note qui n'est pas surfaite.
L'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel est jeune et souriant.
Pour ne rien gâcher, les plats sont généreux et succulents, le service agréable.
Une équipe énergique qui vous fait ressortir avec la bonne humeur du lieu.
Pensez à goûter leurs soupes.... un délice !.

스페인+포르투갈 여행 8일째 되는날인데요. 최고의 식당을 만났네요^^ 날이 추워서 그런지 밖에서 계속 오들오들 여행하다가 들어간 식당에서 너무 맛있는 식사를 해서 신트라 여행이 더 완벽해졌어요ㅎㅎ

화룡점정은 샹그리아예요!! 종업원언니가 추천해줘서 먹었는데 먹어본 샹그리아 중 이집이 최고였어요. 식당에서 직접 만들어 먹었다던데 진짜 예술~~~ 직원들도 친절하고 다해서 45유로 정도로 그닥 비싸지도 않고 진짜 강추입미다!!! 신트라 여행하시면 여기 꼭 들리세용~~

We were seated immediately, and ordered our food, but we were waiting for ++45 min for our dishes to come and they couldn’t tell us how much longer we had to wait. At least they could have told us what’s taking them so long. We ended up leaving without eating because we had to catch our tour group. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you don’t mind waiting and have lots of extra time for lunch/dinner.

I am Portuguese and I simply loved it. The waiters are amazing and the food is delicious. The petiscos ( usually you will call it tapas ) are bigger that common tapas and are super tasty.

It was the worst place of my trip to Portugal. Even though there were several empty tables, we had to stay at the doorstep for over 20 minutes and the waiter acted as if intentionally ignoring. It took me 20 minutes to get my order and the ones who came later than us instantly got the menu and got to order right away. They got their food and drinks first even our drink has not yet served. Even the forks and knifes were not placed before asking and the ones who came later than us got everything they need without asking. The waiters easly ignore the order or your requests and they easly give a bad looks on you.
The service was terrible. the food was just okay nothing special or good. just fine.
Do not expect a qualified service or qualified food. Try other restruant rather than this place.

Amazing food with nice ambient and friendly staff. The sangria was prepared freshly and the olives were super tasty. We had the seafood and fish stew with roasted potatoes which was awesome. The prices were also fair for such portions and the waiters were speaking English fluently. I am so happy they were open on Jan 1st and would definitely get back to this place next time in Sintra.

신트라 2박하는동안 저녁에 두번 갔어요. 너무너무 잘 먹었고 친절하고 너무 좋았네요. 기본적으로 늦게까지 하는 타파스 집이라 여러개 시켜먹기 좋고 좋은 와인도 많아요. 주말이라 미리 예약 꼭 해야되고요.
토마토양파소스홍합요리는 정말 맛있어서 두번이나 먹었고 오징어튀김도 맛있구 그린페퍼튀김, 이베리코햄, 스테이크랑 감자튀김 모두 맛있었어요! 추천해주신 Verde 화이트와인도 달달하고 프레시하고 맛있었어요 :) 신트라 가면 여기서 저녁 꼭 드세요. 완전 추천합니다!

Пошли сюда, потому что высокая оценка и много отзывов и наверное мы не одни выбирали место так, очень много людей, официанты бегают, ну ладно.
Хлеб и оливки (аля комплимент) платные и смотрите счет, их могут потом всчитать, с нами было именно так, сыр на гриле очень соленый, толи так надо, толи просто повезло не знаю, суп с беконом и яйцом это просто бульон, в котором плавает вышеупомянутые ингредиенты.

We really enjoyed this small, tucked away restaurant. The recent negative reviews seem totally out of place in comparison to the experience we had: friendly, fast service in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Numerous other guests were seated around us, and we observed not one person doing anything other than thoroughly enjoying their food.
For dinner, we had the roasted octopus and hake . Both were nicely done, and the fish came with mussels and , too.

Yay! Excellent dinner. A bottle of wine, tenderloin of beef (oh, the creme fraiche with port ...), pork tenderloin, and a tangy aged goat cheese. Always happy when a positive reviews result in a good meal. A lot of Americans per square foot.
Even opens a little early for dinner, by Portuguese standards.

Awesome experience. Service was appropriately paced and everyone spoke excellent English which I didn't expect but certainly was a bonus. Nice wine selection but our primary choice was out, however the backup selection by the server was great. All the food was good, and the recommendation for cheese plate as dessert was very enjoyable. Only minor thing to complain about was the sausage croquettes could use more flavor from the sausage and the I thought the Madeira reduction could be a bit stronger in flavor, but not enough to take a star off. Place was easy to walk to and just all around supported an amazing evening for us. Highly recommended.

Ristorante trovato per caso, su consiglio di un altro ristoratore e l'esperienza è stata sicuramente una delle migliori nel nostro viaggio on the road in Portogallo. Ordinati la zuppa vegetariana, l'anatra con patate dolci e filetto di maiale con salsa di madeira: tutto gustosissimo e preparato ad hoc. Personale gentilissimo e sorridente. Consigliatissimo!

We’re waiting 2 vegetarian dishes more then 30 minutes, a waiter didn’t even warn about this. The bill was made only on third try, because on the first and second there was dishes which we didn’t order! Better to check your bill twice. English of the staff is not good enough. Food was good, I can advise mushrooms with rice if you can wait enough much time for it. You can pay with card.

Zaczęło się od chaosu na sali i słabej zupy. Ale potem było już tylko lepiej. Zamówiliśmy morszczuka z małżami, krewetkami, papryką i cebulą oraz pieczoną ośmiornicę. Przepyszne dania, pełne smaku, bardzo aromatyczne, do tego porcje zupełnie zadowalające. Na deser niesamowite iced chocolate cake - mrożone ciasto czekoladowe z sosem karmelowym z orzeszkami i truskawką. Poezja Dania na sąsiednich stołach też wyglądały apetycznie. Jedyny minus to niestety panika, którą wyraźnie czuć, kiedy sala się zapełnia, a kuchnia przestaje nadążać. Brak tam niestety dobrego managera, który potrafiłby to wszystko ogarnąć. Poza tym jedzenie bez zarzutu, obsługa przemiła (jak już się rozluźnią i nawiążą interakcję z gościem). Polecam z czystym sumieniem, ale może lepiej poza godzinami szczytu

Un restaurant à ne surtout pas manquer à Sintra. Victime de son succès, il faut impérativement réserver car la salle est petite. Les plats sont délicieux, faits maisons, et le service est incroyable. Buen restaurante en el centro de Sintra. Más bonito por dentro q por fuera, por fuera no parece lo que es. Platos elaborados a buena relación calidad precio, aunque no es lo más barato de la zona merece la pena probar. Atención muy buena. Gran variedad de platos y tapas a elegir. El local es pequeño pero el ambiente agradable

Horrible services & disgusting food.
Non of the staff approached us by the door, we waited 5 minutes until I walked in my self and asked to be seated.
I had a table reservation for 10pm which I was told it's not ready for another 20 minutes, after returning to the restaurant after 20 minutes our table was still not ready. They gave us the most uncomfortable table behind 10 people in a little corner where there was no room to move.
Besides that the staff were not professional at all as they kept standing in a corner chatting with each other and not paying attention to customers.
Stay away from their sea food dishes as my partner and I both have stomach pains after eating at this restaurant.
One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to.

Lo que comimos estuvo bien,el sitio y el personal es muy amable. Pero tardaron mucho en atendernos y en ponernos la comida, nos comentaron que la comida se hacía al momento y debido a ello la espera correspondiente. Sugiero que en la carta pongan el tiempo de espera,conozco otros sitios que hacen las cosas al momento y no tardan tanto.

Very convenient to a couple of guesthouses on the same street, one of which we were staying at. We got in there about 7:30pm on a Saturday evening and fortunately there were a few tables available without reservation. Once 8:30pm rolled around, they were completely packed. While many people go the tapa route here, we weren't a fan of the majority fried tapa options they had (I'm sure they were good though) and just stuck with the grilled squid with roasted potatoes and greens. Then we went with a couple of entrees for a party of 4: grilled pork tenderloins and mushroom risotto dish. The grilled pork loins were tender, well seasoned and flavored which probably had to do with being cooked/marinated in Madeira wine sauce, and accompanied with some greens and a bed of rice w/ dry fruits. This was the best cooked pork we had throughout our entire Portugal travels and one of two best places we had for any kind of grilled meats in general. The manager of the restaurant was very friendly and presented us with a variety of desserts to try which included a chocolate mousse & a warm baked apple puff pastry with a bed of vanilla ice cream sprinkled with cinnamon (heavy cream base). We only had dinner one night in Sintra and glad we chose Restaurante Romaria de Baco.

Hemos esperado demasiado tiempo para unos platos sin demasiado éxito pero con muchas pretensiones. Caro y raciones justitas, local mínimo pero muy bien aprovechado, todos los comensales muy juntos. Los camareros muy profesionales y de trato muy agradable.

Un excellent restaurant ! Les calamars grillés sont très bon ainsi que le riz noir à l'encre de seiche que je recommande. La sangria blanche est parfaite. Attention l'endroit est fréquenté et bien que nous y sommes allés vers 15h45 on a attendu un peu avant d'avoir une table. Ensuite le service est plutôt rapide et très souriant.

Atención muy amable por parte de los camareros y platos de carta muy buenos. Comimos entre dos personas tres tapas (los champiñones están riquísimos) y el plato de bacalao a brass, genial también. Tuvimos que esperar un poco porque el sitio es pequeño y tiene bastante fama, pero consideramos que merece la pena.

Increíble. Platos deliciosos y en su punto. El pulpo, el bacalao, la carrillera, los chipirones... A veces tardan en traerlos porque los hacen al momento pero merece mucho la pena esperar. Sitio acogedor, recuerda a una pequeña casona rural de madera y piedra. Trato maravilloso, amables y atentos. Recomendable 100% por !

Absolutely delicious food in very cozy setting. Each dish was authentic to Sintra. Every dish was beautifully plated and had our mouths singing! We had appetizers through desert and nothing missed the mark. The staff, especially Nuno, did an amazing job recommending food and wine pairing. He was also funny and kind. He took pity on us and found a way to fit us in at the last minute although the night was fully booked - and made the night magical! Best service in all of Portugal.

La comida está bien, el precio no está mal. El lugar en sí es bonito, pero califico con menos nota este restaurante por lo estrecho que es todo y lo que ajustan el espacio para atender a más clientela. Estábamos tanto por los lados como por detrás a un palmo de distancia de las otras mesas, apenas pudiéndote mover o estar cómodo. El otro punto a mejorar es la tardanza al servir la comida.. tardaron 1 hora en servirnos con el restaurante casi vacío. El personal tuvo trato amable con nosotros, todo el resto bien.
