O Alameda Restaurante é um dos melhores restaurantes de Lisboa, senão o melhor. O atendimento é ótimo, com funcionários super atenciosos... A comida é simplesmente maravilhosa, aquele frango a passarinho ao molho da casa, aaaa que delícia.

Tasty meal I had - white rice and vegetable sauce. However, service could be much better. You have to get in their face to be attended to, and even with that you could be ignored...like I was on occasion. Fair.

I'm pretty sure all the five star reviews for this place are fake. Look... Every reviewer's only review is a five star rating for this place. I've been duped. The food here is bad! Ordered veggie samosas which were ok but more like spring rolls than samosas. Then ordered chicken Madras and veggie biryani. Chicken was dry and bland and the Madras sauce was tomato paste. Plain rice and a salad which was dry lettuce. Veggie biryani desperately needed salt and spice. And the environment and clientele leave much to be desired. During our meal three drug addicts kept running back and forth in and out of the restaurant and the neighboring shop, yelling and arguing and staring at patrons. Very uncomfortable. Bad food and bad experience.

Eu gosto muito do seu restaurante. A comida é deliciosa, a melhor que se pode comer em matéria de temperos. Eu recomendo a todos os meus amigos. Meu prato favorito é o delicioso Biryani. OMG! !!! É simplesmente delicioso! Outro prato que eu gosto muito é o Chicken Jalfrezi, delicioso também. Como bom brasileiro que sou, não posso deixar de mensionar o frango a passarinho, não tem igual aqui em Lisboa. Hum. ... Não posso também deixar de falar das deliciosas Chamuças
de legumes. Minha vontade é comer todas. Recomendo o restaurante Alameda a todos. Vale a pena!

Found this place near our apartment. Food was absolutely amazing . The place looks like a normal kebap shop but sell a variety of food like chicken byrian and burgers and samosa for just 0.50 each. Don't forget to try the spicy sauce, incredible.

Asian restaurant in Alameda,Lisbon. You'll love their foods. They sale snacks, coffee and food of course. What you want you can eat. You like Portuguese dish no problem. It's an Asian restaurant so you can get traditional Asian foods. Also if you're looking for drink you'll get. They accept credit card so don't worry. You can enjoy the view also coz opposite of restaurant there is a big park!!!! Amazing place I like hope you will also like.

We went on Saturday 9th Feb to see the Chinese New Year Celebrations at Alameda. There were lots of food stalls but with long queues. So we walked just at the edge and found Alameda Restaurante.
The menu was quite extensive and cheap. We did not expect much and were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. It was well presented and a good sized portion. The food was extremely good and tasty.
For 2 main courses, drinks and coffee, just over €15.00 .
If we visit the area again we will definitely dine there. Great service too.

After arriving late at night Alameda was recommended as a good place to eat near to our hotel. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and the food was great. We returned a few times on our trip.

Hidden gem, couldn't believe all the 5-star reviews but it's true: The Indian dishes are amazing and everything is surprisingly cheap. Place doesn't look fancy at all and there are very few seats but trust me: It's worth it!

It’s like a big surprise in a small pack . After coming back from England I was looking for proper Asian style food . Luckily I found this restaurant when me and my friends was passing near the restaurant. Food was excellent. One of the good thing is the view from the restaurant . I was very happy to see smile on my Portuguese friend face after he had BITOQUE. He told me ,it was best BITOQUE he had after long time .

Primer día en Lisboa y no había ningún sitio abierto ya que muchos restaurantes cierran temprano, y este sitio estaba abierto, nos atendieron muy bien, la comida deliciosa y bien de precio. Lo único que tardan en servirlo pero se nota que está recién hecho y bastante bueno. Hablan en inglés y portugués pero entienden perfectamente el español sin problemas.

Visited Lisbon on a family trip. I am not quite used to have any other food apart from indian food. Thanks God I have found this hidden gem. The food was really enjoyable and the view at the front of the restaurant was so pleasant that it made me enjoy every bit of my meal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service was promt and very efficient. I would highly reccomend this restaurant if you quest for Indian food or local traditional meal ..

Gente, nesse lugar achei as melhores esfirras de Lisboa, sério mesmo, e por um preço muito baixo e com uma qualidade excepcional, o ambiente é bem limpo e uma adendo, as esfirras chegam a brilhar e o sabor, uma delicia, a imperial custa apenas 1 € e a esfirra 1,50€, primeiro lugar indiano que eu realmente vi que tem uma qualidade ótima! Super recomendo !

Had Chicken Jalfrezi at Alameda Restaurant.Very tasty super dish. I always eat it in London. I got the taste exactly same with London curry dishes.Had Portuguese beer Sagres.Prices is very cheap. Location is with the metro station very close. There is a beautiful fountain in front of the Restaurant. Stuffs were very good.Hope we will come here again on our next holiday. Highly recommended.

I wonder where all the good reviews came from. I was sitting outside for 15 min. I thought they were busy at first. However, he was standing at a counter doing nothing but never come out to take an order so I gave up and left. Never come back again. :(

I ordered grilled sea bass. I got a whole fresh fish beautifully grilled, salad and rice and french fries. This is a fantastic meal at a very good price. The restaurant is clean and the proprietor very welcoming. I have eaten here two times and will be coming again on my next visit to Lisbon. it is really fantastic!

Well, it's a pretty cheap corner shop kind of establishment, with pretty mediocre foods, but it serves the food in early afternoon unlike the restaurants in most of Lisbon so I found it useful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I asked for a spicy dish and was recommended chicken jalfrezi. Loved it. Spicy chicken curry just like I had wanted. Will eat here again.

We decided to try this resturant on our last day in Lisbon because of the reviews. Everyone had positive things to say. My gf and I decided to try the veggie korma, veggie Samosas and Coxinha de Frango. Wow. I was blown away by the Flavors of all the foods. Food was made fresh. And very quickly too. When we came to pay the bill. We expected to pay with visa , being our last day in Portugal and having no more euros. But we’re told the machine would only accept local debit cards. I asked where the closest bank was and the owner pointed to across the street. He said, “I will come with you”. Because I thought he had to get something out Of his car. I totally miss understood him. He actually wanted to drive me to the bank. Wow. What kind of person does that? And we had a great conversation and while he apologized cause his new machine that will accept credit cards is 15 days away.
I highly recommend this place to any locals and especially travelers visiting Lisbon.
