Great service, savoury food and sweet mango lassi. Nepal Curry House is a wonderful restaurant that captures the flavours from Nepal, Pakistan and India and delivers it to customers with each dish.
I highly recommend the fish curry and will definitely be returning in the future to satisfy my cravings for authentic Pakistani / Indian / Nepalese food!

Right away to my favorite's list!
I had a couple of hours waiting in the airport before my flight taking off so I felt for trying out a restaurant in town. Right out of the Alameda station (only 20 minutes ride from the airport), "The Nepal Curry House" . This little restaurant located in the heart of the city is friendly and has a great service on top of an excellent food quality. Don't miss it out!

Doesn't look like much but OMG is it delicious. Staff was very nice too, English is no problem at all. Edit: I didn't find it on maps when searching for "Indian" or "vegetarian" , hope this will add the necessary keywords. Again, super nice food.

The food quality and costumer service is quiet good but importantly the waiting time for food is quit longer which they have to consider. They have chowmein, momo Nepali thali set. Worth to try.

We were looking for a curry house, and upon reading the reviews for this place we thought we'd check it out. We certainly weren't disappointed. The food really was extremely flavoursome, beautifully presented and cooked to however the strength of spiciness we wanted. The service we received was so genuinely warm and friendly, not to mention super efficient.
Very cosy little restaurant, about enough space to seat 20 people. But very busy with a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant for its value, quality, service and all round genuine friendly atmosphere. One of the most accommodating hosts we have ever encountered.

Very friendly and courteous staff. The lamb Rogan was fantastic; incredibly flavourful. The curries come with rice and a small serving of salad, which felt like just the right amount of food.

Nepal Curry House has a FANTASTIC daily menu at a completely affordable price of 6,50€ - main dish/drink/salad/coffee. As well as other a-lá-carte accessible choices. It's a home-made Nepal taste!

Ordered a veg chowmien, chicken bhuna and naan, with a cobra beer
Service: Very poor. We didnt get the menus for quite some time. Had to go inside and ask for it. Then after ordering the same thing happened. The food didnt come for 30 mins. And when it did, only the naan was served first. We sent it back otherwise it would have gotten cold.
Food: Average. The chowmien was bland. No soy sauce or vinegar or chilli sauce was added. The chicken tasted well but didnt seem fresh as it had a bite to it rather than being soft. Although we had asked for butter naan only plain naan was served, which was soft and fluffly. Also, we were served a bowl of rice which we did not order. We were told it comes with the chicken (we werent informed of this during ordering).

I came to eating at this restaurant after a long 18 day travel across Europe. So I was starving for the taste of Indian cuisine. Hence, please take my review with a little pinch of salt as it may be a little biased. So as I was saying, we were desperately looking out for an Indian restaurant and we came across this place. It was very closed to the place where we were staying. Its a lovely little food joint with only 4-5 tables. They serve authentic Tibetan and Nepali food along with Indian cuisine. We ordered a chicken soup which was a pleasant surprise. Its like the Portuguese Sopa with the Indian flavours. We ordered chicken momos and vegetable pakora. Both were quite nice. Then we ordered Dal tadka and Lamb Rogan Josh. Lamb was amazing. Don't order any rice as they give rice with all dishes. Naans were delicious. Chicken fried rice taste was quite close to home. Only disappointment was the lamb chilli as it was too sweet to my taste. The icing on the cake was the Indian Tea.
Be ready with your cash as cards may not be accepted if not local Portuguese cards(Don't know what's that). So my travel card and my International debit card which worked in 20 countries across the world, didn't work here.. Strange. But its a common problem across Portugal except for Lagos. Service is a little slow. But no complaints as it ensures everything freshly made from the scratch.

Perfect dinner. Realy nice owner. The option nr42 (Murga Madurai) is great. I did my Erasmus in Lisbon and went at least 1× in two weeks
Nice traditional nepalise decoration. Cozy, charmy place. Very good service. Very tasty food.

Cosy familiar place with a very friendly service and fair prices. The food is as delightful (or better) than in other €fancier€ nepalese places, portions are just right, flavor is there in every dish, from the most spicy to the most sweet. I ate already twice there, always came back satisfied, and will surelly be back for more. Thanks for the lovely service once more.

Simple, small and honest restaurant, with delicious food and the most pleasant service.
Wonderful chicken samosas for starter and all the 3 dishes we ordered were very tasty and in good portions.
Highly recommend it!

Lovely place with a very cozy interior. For those more used to the way western food tastes I recommend the garlic naan, the vegetable pakora and the onion badji. If you'd like to try something new you should go with the tandoor chicken or with the chicken (or lamb) curry. This last one comes with basmati rice and a small lettuce salad, that together makes the perfect meal. Very nice and hearty staff. It's good to go to a place and know that there are real people with real stories behind the delicious food you're having.

I have tested it the first day we've arrived in Lisbon and we had dinner there almost every night during one week. Just because the food is fantastic and the service of Sheesa (I hope it's correct) was simply great! The prices are way below the quality of everything there.. 2.5-3 eur a great chicken soup (our 2.5 y.o. boy loved it), 7-9 eur for a chicken or lamb cooked dish.. I also have to mention the traditional noodle soup (6 eur) which was divine! For a family with kid this place was the best due to the fresh and tasty food that made our stay really nice, for sure we will return for those dishes!

Everything I’ve tried here was very delicious and it was so hard to stop eating:)
Highly recommend to try dumplings, chicken in mango sauce - they melt in your mouth! And desserts, e.g. ice cream- a bit unusual one, made of coconut milk.
Beer is bottled, the local one Khukuri is pretty good.
And after all, the price is very reasonable!

How true it is that "less is more"! This place certainly does not look very fancy. But the food is very good, cheap and the service is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Multilingual waitress that speak virtually all languages, I am amazed. Went there two times during my stay in Lisbon. I must take my hat off and say thank you! I will be back.

I’ve been hesitant to review this place, since it’s excellent and some kind of a secret - and I would like it to stay that way By far the best Indian (Naplese) food I’ve had in Lisbon. Juicy tender chicken tandoori, delicious fresh naan and superb service (they speak not only Portugese but very good English too). Prices are more than reasonable too! The interior is simple, but that’s no dealbreaker considering everything else is awesome. Highly recommend !

Amazing food, I went with some friends and everything was outstanding from the service to the food.
We tried different things and it was all good.
It's a small place so you have to get there a bit early or maybe reserve a table, but besides that good times

Hidden gem in Alameda. Plates are made at the spot, they are delicious and cheap. Weekday lunches for 7 euros, including a drink and coffee. We had lamb and chicken and they were pretty tasty

Really good curry. We got chicken Madras and masala, and would recommend both. Great value too with rice and a drink with the meal. I'd really recommend this place. The waitress was super helpful too.

Unscheinbar, aber großartig!
Ich war mit meinem 12-jährigen Sohn dort. Wir wurden gut beraten und die Kellnerin unterhielt sich mit jedem Gast sehr nett. Ich glaube, dass ich noch niemals so herzlich empfangen und bedient wurde wie in diesem kleinen, liebevoll eingerichteten Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch günstig. Wir hatten 1 geteilte Vorspeise, jeder 1 Hauptgericht, 1 geteilte Nachspeise, Wasser sowie 1 Glas Wein und blieben damit unter 30 Euro. Ein echter Tipp für alle, die indisches Essen lieben!

It was absolutely fantastic!
We had two Starters, a soup and fried vegetabels with dip. As a main course we had veggie potato massala what we shared.
Two Drinks and everthing for only 17€.
Everthing was delicious and the Service was really lovely and absolutely friendly.

It is a very nice place. The food is delicious especially for those who love spicy food, but anyway you can choose how spicy you want your dish to be. The woman who works there is very nice and polite, it enjoyed there and I will definitely visit it again.

Was looking forward for some curry and decided to visit this curry house. It took me by surprise, it's a very small place but the food is really good.
I ordered Chicken Korma and something else (vegetables) and both dishes had fantastic flavours. The korma sauce was godly!
The lady that took my order was very friendly and I got served quite fast.
Price/quality is worth the trip.
All in all I enjoyed my meal and I can surely say that I recommend this place to anyone that likes this kind of food.

I received my salad for pudding after I had eaten everything else, and when I ordered chicken tikka masala I was given prawn masala.....watch out when you go to this place, but atleast the people are friendly.

런치 세트(커리+밥+음료+커피)가 6.5유로로 저렴합니다. 가게 사장님이 한국에서 13년 사셔서 한국어도 엄청 잘하세요.(원래는 감자탕, 삼겹살 같은 한국요리점을 열고 싶었는데 시설 문제때문에 못하셨다고 하네요 ㅠㅠㅋㅋ) 여행 중간에 지쳐있었는데 좋은 기운 얻어갑니다.

Good food indeed, but service is definitely too slow.
This place is a family run business, with very little tables, no more than 10 I'd say.
Prices are honest and if you can get your nose in, it's definitely worth.

의정부에서 십년 사셨다는 젊은 네팔분이 하시는 정말 맛있는 커리집이예요. 숙소가 가까워서 갔다가 맛있어서 4일동안 3번 갔어요. 리스본에서 먹은 음식중 베스트예요 41번 치킨 커리 맵게 강추 쫄깃한 플레인 난이랑 같이 드시면 최고입니다 가격도 저렴하구요. 커리두개 맥주 두 잔 난이랑 먹었는데 20유로 정도예요 . 무엇보다 사장님이 한국말도 잘하시고 너무 친절하세요. 원랜 여기서 감자탕 집을 열고 싶으셨다고 하시네요

A tiny restaurant with delicious food: a sweeter twist on traditional southeast asian curry. I was treated like a queen at a Michelin star restaurant. The whole dinner with a glass of wine: 11.50 euros! Highly recommend!
