Great curry with named dishes (not the usual meat/sauce combo list). Chillies added after so you can choose how hot you want it.

We were very surprised at the high quality of this little restaurant, right around the corner from my apartment. Friendly, attentive service and delicious food. More Indian than I had expected, so don´t anticipate Nepalese, by the way. A very enjoyable experience.

good cost to benefit.... awesome food! Ordered the shrimp nepal and it was pretty good! you can choose your level of spiceness and i had medium which was just a little spicy.... i guess i tried to take it easy for me hehe

De passage sur notre chemin de retour à l hôtel, nous nous y sommes arrêtées. Nous avons très bien mangé et pour pas cher du tout. Le serveur était très sympa

Amazing food for a great price, I don't know why anyone would give this anything but 5 stars. Oh and also the friendliest service I think I have ever encountered. Only minus was the loud Americans sitting next to me, but that's not really in the restaurants control (maybe Americans reading this can be a bit more mindful of their insane volume and urge of being heard by their friends without listening themselves).

Lovely restaurant with super friendly staff.
The curries are all finely seasoned and tasty.
On a side note; if want a proper spicy curry be sure to tell them and also that you're well acquainted with hot food, otherwise it'll probably still be below your "needs".
Ate here a few times and will be back again.

Melhor comida indiana que já comi! Muito bem temperada sem excessos ou pouco, na medida certa. Atendimento super Gentil. Restaurante de forma em geral muito bem higienizado. Ah pratos para quem não gosta muito de comidas bem temperadas.
Super indico como entrada o pão com queijo, divino.

Absolutely amazing food and the restaurant is run by a lovely family. I've been eating wile traveling Europe for the last 3.5 months and this was one of my favourite meals I've had!

This is my go to place when I don't feel like cooking but what a slow dinner in a cozy spot. The staff is friendly and always very welcoming. I still have more than 50% of the menu to try but so far I enjoyed every dish.

Located in the heart of Madragoa (a very Lisboeta neighboorhood ) you can have the best indian food!
I've tried many others in Lisbon but so far Lumbini is my favorite one for good and I always go back.
My favorite dishes are Korma for the sweets and Mushroom curries son don't miss it...
The attention is very kind, the price is also good!

I have been going to Lumbini every other week for more than a year. Me and my colleagues always order the same, Chicken Tikka Massala. The best dish in Lisbon!

Melhor comida impossível! Staff muito educado e simpático, muito acima da média do atendimento da maioria dos lugares. A comida é muito bem temperada, com sabor único, e sempre tendo a opção de pedir 100% sem pimenta. Recomendo pra quem quer uma comida feita por pessoas que REALMENTE entendem da culinária nepalesa, pois todo o staff vem de lá.

Incredible food. Service was outstanding. Very nice people. Can highly recommend the cheese naan with garlic. The melai kuftah was delicious. And Tika masala as well. Best Indian experience in Lisbon:)

Väldigt trevlig liten indisk restaurang. På menyn finns klassiska indiska rätter. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Maten var mycket god. Jag valde en Lamm karahi som smakade underbart gott. Om du tycker om indisk mat är detta rätt ställe.

Espectacular! Comimos increíble comida hindú genuina por un precio muuuy bueno. Gran atención y los platos sobresalientes. Recomiendo el pollo nepal con frutas y coco. La única contra, no aceptan tarjetas de crédito que no sean emitidas en Portugal.

Si te gusta experimentar sabores es un excelente y pequeño restaurante con diversidad de especias, menú variado, precios accesibles y te permiten variar la intensidad de las especias y el picante, en tal caso de no ser tolerante al picante puedes indicarlo. Muy atentos. Las tarjetas extranjeras no son aceptadas, por lo que es recomendable llevar efectivo o tarjetas de la localidad.

Buena comida indiana, lo mejor es que puedes pedir el nivel de picante que deseas y nada de picante, asi que puedes ir sin miedo. Lo mejor es reservar antes de ir, el lugar es pequeño y siempre está lleno.

Nous sommes rendus dans ce restaurant suite aux avis de Google et nous n avons pas été déçus. Le lumbini est un très bon restaurant indien. Nous avons pris un poulet tikka massala et de l agneau tikka massala un régal ! Nous avons pu choisir le dosage des épices un peu, moyen ou très épicé ce qui est très appréciable. Leur naan au fromage est également très bon.
Ne soyez pas surpris en arrivant on vous sert 3 sauces et une galette par personne non payante.
Le serveur a été très gentil et de bon conseil pour une addition final très raisonnable pour ce genre de restaurant. J y retournerai avec plaisir.

Muy recomendable. Comida india-nepali. Puedes ajustar si quieres 0%, 25%,50% o 100% picante. Todos los platos vienen acompañados de arroz y papadam con tres salsas. Cantidad de los platos buena. Trato muy amable y muy buen servicio. Relación calidad-precio muy buena

Sometimes you forget how much asian food has influenced Australian dinner plates. I missed spices so much i went out of my way to find an Indian restaurant. It didn't let me down. Great food, great staff, very relaxing and enjoyable.

The food is good and you get to have control on how spicy you would like your food and a good vegetarian menu portions are good and the wine list good prices are good for the amount you get they take credit card too

The best Nepalese / Indian food in Lisbon, and at reasonable prices, especially the Prato do Dia (plate of the day) at €6.50 which includes a salmon dish with very generous portions.
Their garlic nan is the best so far. Other notable items are the prawn korma (prawn in coconut sauce), mali kofta, saag paneer, mango lassi, and coconut lassi.
Very pleasant staff.
And they have fast wifi (30+ Mbps).

My photo here is terrible, however, I would say this is one of the finest Indian meals I have every have eaten.
Four of us for dinner, not many other in the restaurant made us worry. Don't you worry! Service and food was excellent! We had chicken vindahlo, chicken korma, lamb curry and lamb tikka masala, plus raita and roti.
All sauce dishes had a distinct flavor and did not taste similar. Very nice staff and comfortable. Yum!
