Hice una reserva para un sábado noche pero se olvidaron de anotarla, aunque por suerte coincidió que había una mesa libre.
El ramen estaba bien (probé dos), aunque quizá tenía más sal que sabor en el caldo. Me gustó que tuvieran varias opciones vegetales y extras para personalizar.
Los cócteles bien también y no muy caros.
Edito: efectivamente, acabo de comprobarlo e hice la reserva para el día anterior. Mis disculpas. De todas formas, no recibí ninguna llamada ni email, por eso no me di cuenta. He dicho que se olvidaron de anotarlo porque fue lo que el camarero nos dijo cuando llegamos. Saludos :)

여기 음식 대부분 그렇듯이 매우 짭니다. 일본 라멘이 원래 짜지만 그 수준을 넘어서고요.
돈코츠는 너무 짜니 비추이며, 탄탄멘 오리지널은 덜 짜고 먹을만 해요. (맵다고 되어있지만 전혀 매운 맛 없음. 아가 입맛도 먹을 수 있음)
교자도 맛있는 편이지만 너무너무 짜요......

Having worked as a cook in a Japanese ramen restaurant, I was eager to check out Lisbon's ramen options and I went to two places. Kokoro and koppu. What I enjoyed at koppu, is the variety and quality of appetizers, ramen and desserts. The broth is rich in flavour and the prices are respectively around 8-12€ per soup. If you did not reserve a table, I would recommend to visit the place around opening times. For my standards, this place makes a great effort to provide authentic and traditional flavours and ramen. Do eat here!

일부러 찾아가서 먹었는데 생각보다 제대로 일본라면을 내고 있어 놀랐습니다. 우리나라서 파는 일본라면 정도 수준으로 간은 좀 쎈 편입니다. 닭튀김이 금방 매진되어서 야키토리랑 만두 라면 칼피스 먹었고, 밥 말아먹고 싶었는데 밥도 매진이라 못먹었습니다. 처음에 갔을 땐 손님이 많지 않아 굉장히 친절했는데, 점점 손님이 밀어닥치니 정신을 못차려했습니다. 손님이 많아 예약하거나 오픈에 맞춰 가시길 추천!

Since the ramen craze finally took off in our country and we now have lots of options to taste the flavored noodle soup, Koppu still stands as my favorite to go place to stuff my face in a bowl full of 気持ちいい yumminess. They have a nice selection of starters, with typical japanese delicacies, and lot's of choices of ramen, including vegetarian. The drinks menu won't disappoint you either. The place is a bit small and can get really crammed, but it's cozy and relaxed. It's best to make reservations, you should be so lucky if you go in a small group and get the private room. I love this place.

O espaço é pequeno, os acessos de carro são labirínticos, o estacionamento é impossível. Mas tudo o resto, o que realmente importa, é fabuloso! Entradas óptimas, ramen melhor ainda, e um cheesecake de chorar por mais! Para beber, cada um que escolha o seu porque há de tudo! A repetir, mas da próxima vamos a pé! Aconselho reservar ou aparecer cedo porque o que não falta é gente com vontade de comer!!

ja visitei o koppu varias vezes e ate agora tive sempre experiencias excelentes. ja experimentei as varias entradas desde as gyozas aos cogumelos salteados, tudo fantastico. Dos ramens já experimentei o shoyo de porco, o tan tan de galinha e o tonkotsu, todos diferentes mas todos muito bons. O staff é simpatico e o espaço acolhedor. Sempre cheio, convem visitar durante a semana, para ter mais tranquilidade e marcar é muito aconselhavel.

Great place. A good menu to chose from. The staff (probably the owner) was very nice and helped us chose the ramen. The ramen looks and smells good, tastes even better.
The only downside is the parking. It's very hard to find a place to park nearby. But... I don't consider this to be the restaurant's fault, so, 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Some of the best vegetarian ramen I've had(actually vegan because I got it without the egg). My husband ordered the shrimp option but I think mine tasted better! Highly recommend it.

Un lugar con encanto, pocas mesas y un servicio muy atento. Comida estupenda, preparan un ramen excelente. No hay que dejar de lado los entrantes, que notablemente cumplen su objetivo de captar la atención del estómago. Sin duda un sitio al que ir en Lisboa fuera de la comida típica portuguesa.

Wasn't planning to have Japanese food while in Lisbon but having had enough of Portugese food, thought I would search for ramen out of curiosity. Eyes lit up when the menu had Tsukemen. Went away bitterly disappointed.
Place seemed to be fully reserved but made space for me which was appreciated.
Firstly there was a miscommunication problem and I received the wrong dish. They then brought out what was supposed to be what I ordered (Tan men tsukemen) but the ramen noodles from the first dish was used as they were hot. The menu says they should be cold for the tsukemen. If they knew how to do a proper tsukemen they would use thicker soba noodles.
The broth was bland, completely the opposite of what a tsukemen broth should be.
At least the beer was good...

O melhor ramen em Lisboa, sem dúvida nenhuma. Está ao mesmo nível de ramens que provei em nos EUA (restaurantes japoneses) e por Isso feliz quando vejo que o restaurante está sempre cheio. É preciso marcar a qualquer dia da semana. Esse, e o consequente barulho dentro do pequeno espaço, são os únicos inconvenientes. A repetir até à exaustão.

Sempre cheio, sempre fantastico, sempre saboroso, ainda bem que os da michelin ainda não foram aqui pois o chef do Midori a fazer um suposto Ramen como diz que faz e que ja provei, não se compara se quer com o que é feito na cozinha deste restaurante. Parece que arrancaram um pedacinho do Japão antigo e o colocaram aqui neste espacinho de lisboa. Por favor não mudem nada pois aquilo que vocês fazem vale bem 3 estrelas Michelin... só nao podemos é dizer a eles... muito obrigado por todas as refeições espetaculares que tivemos aqui.

Man oh man, I'm not sure where to start with Koppu. Cool spot tucked away on a side street, good interior, quick and knowledgeable staff, fairly priced menu with options for everyone. We had baos, ramen, sake and some crispy Asian lagers. Will go back, for sure.

Small ramen place in the Real Principe district. Super friendly staff and very casual atmosphere. Fantastic noodles and a few other Japanese dishes. They have a special ramen made with 16 hours pork broth – be sure to ask if they have it that day. Definitely make a reservation for one of those days you just cannot handle another plate of Portuguese food.

RESERVATION. You should make a reservation if you want to dine here. We were fortunate to walk in at 7:30 and take the only unreserved table for two. The Ramen was very good, worthy of the €12 price. Space is small. Enjoy!

Came here as a group of 8 people. They served us some very good food and the waiter was very nice. Only minus is the food took a little longer to get to us then one would expect. But overall a good experience, especially considering the price.

Enjoyed the setting in this cosy little restaurant. The food was ok. The prices reflect its location rather than it’s quality, I have eaten better for cheaper. Considering it’s size where this place really lets itself down is the service . Although the staff were friendly it was very slow. This is not the kind of place to jump into for a quick dinner before heading out for the night.

We visited Koppu Ramen at our first and last days in Lisbon, and we really liked this restaurant.
I am not sure about the prices, whether they are high or not because we have not eaten ramen in other places.
Their pork ramen tasted very good as well as the first one from menu which is their most popular I believe.
The service was good as well.
It was rather busy on the evening, but they offered us good places both times.
I liked this place and wish them a lot of good clients!

Not sure if it was an off night but things were not quite right. It was busy and the staff seemed a bit flustered. I ordered gyoza which came out slightly burnt and a Tan Tan Ramen which was really good bit missing something. I will absolutely try this place again and do recommend the ramen. I have however had better elsewhere. Japanese food is about perfection and balance and is risky to attempt. As mentioned gyoza was overcooked and eggs in my ramen where undercooked I am also doubting if the noodles were fresh, they might have been frozen. Which in Japan would probably get you prison! :P

Great food, ok service. We had tan tan tsukemen, zaru soba and gyoza. The pork in the tsukemen was incredibly juicy and flavorful, the eggs nice and runny, the noodles al dente. Only the broth was missing salt, which I got after asking. The soba were delicious and perfect for the hot day. The service was a little off. Neither at entering not at leaving did anyone greet or say goodbye, even though the restaurant was empty. Still, the food and the presentation were amazing and authentic. We would come again.

Check this place out whenever you're tired of portuguese food. Very savoury, authentic ramen, which go great with a bottle of Kirin after a hot day in the sun.
Broth is on the lighter side, except for the tonkotsu ramen which is just perfect.
Booking in advance is advisable.

Nice asian food alternative from the Portuguese cuisine of Lisbon. I really enjoyed the Chicken Miso but found the Tonkutsu pork ramen a bit salty. I'm sure they can adjust the salt and lard content if you asked them.
The service was great and loved the seaweed salad appetizer. Reservations recommended as the space is small.

Really bad experience. Staff obviously does not want to serve tourists. They let us wait for more than 10 mins without any information and then some one else was send to tell us that there was no free table until 11pm (it was 9pm) although there were four free tables without any signs for reservations and a big group was leaving at this moment. Very Disappointing!

Great appetizers, friendly and nice staff. But the soup is not good. It is as if the chef forgot to put in the tare and it was plain saltless/soyless watered down bone broth (talking about the tonkotsu). No taste of ginger, white pepper, sake/mirin/ponzu. No deep umami, no buttery mouthfeel from the emulsified bone marrow. I'm sorry, but not good enough. But, I think for people not familiar with ramen it might be nice anyway. For people who want authentic Japanese style ramen, keep on looking.

Não é o melhor ramen que ja comi, porém é o melhor de Lisboa com ctz. Além de ser gostoso o restaurante conta com uma staff SENSACIONAL. Um rapaz muito simpático nos atendeu com sorriso no rosto, muito atencioso e com muito bom humor... completamente diferente do padrão português de atendimento, infelizes, lacónicos e sem vontade de ajudar.
Com certeza voltaremos.

My dining experience at Koppu was quite pleasant. On weekend nights, there might be a wait if you don't have a reservation.
Food-wise, the tonkotsu broth is authentic. I really believe they spent 10+ hours brewing this pork bone broth. This broth is good, yet unfortunately doesn't quite have the sweetness and complexity of flavor that Japan's ichiran and NYC's ipuddo have...but hey, this is in Lisbon

Service was really nice.
Very small restaurant, same like others in the city.
The main thing is about the food, the ramen soup was way too salty, the saltiest I have ever had. And which doesn’t add nice flavor to the overall taste.

This was really a great dinning experience... but not perfect. We had the pork GWA BAO and they were kind of bland. Next the vegetables GYOZAS which were really good. And finally the RAMEN. We got the TAN TAN MEN TONKOTSU which was perfect! So rich and full of flavour. It was a perfect comfort meal for a chilly night. Apparently they have 3 richness levels of broth. The other RAMEN we got was the EBI KARE (curry) and compared to the Tonkotsu it was just not at the same level. Bear in mind that has far as asian soups go I love Pho which can't be said to be super rich but it is full of flavour. So, although I will definitely come back for the gyozas and the Tonkotsu, I'm not sure I'll be able to press myself to try the other two (TAN TAN and SHOYO). Final words for the staff (super friendly and make-you-feel-home) and the lack of audible music (at least to me eating out is not just about the food and I really missed a good musical vibe to go with the RAMEN).

Based on the good rating online and the overall positive food experience we were having in Lisbon, we had great expectations when we came for dinner to Koppu Ramen. Sadly we left disappointed. We first had Gyoza which were fine, but maybe a bit lacking in taste. In the meantime we did enjoy the red housewine. For main course we each had a different bowl of Ramen. Mine had a good amount of taste, but the ingredients (chicken, egg, veggies) were a bit bland and didn't add much to the dish. My wife had a worse deal because her dish was honestly just tasteless, no trace of herb or spice at all and also just bland ingredients. Two more things which added to our disappointing experience were the heat in this small place (we came out sweating marbles) and the fact that our drinking water was lukewarm. However, to end on a more positive note: the staff was friendly and professional for the entire evening.

Some very tasty ramen can be found here. My wife had the miso and I had the tan tan men tonkotsu. Both were excellent!! The chicken and vegetable gyoza was great as well. Make sure to get a reservation as they get busy after 7:30 PM.

The restaurant specializes in ramen, however, for the price of 15 eur I expected something more genuine and tasty. The broth was dull, which is the basic mistake, noodles were just so-so. After the waiter asked me how I enjoyed food, I replied that it was not what I expected and it is just ok, he came at me with "thank you". After finishing ramen with almost full glass of beer we were asked whether we wanted the bill. I found that extremely rude. Broken toilet seat was just the cherry on the top. I really expected more from the restaurant with such rating. If you really like ramen, do not go there as you will be dissappointed.

We had a very pleasant experience. Surprisingly many and good starters plus a wide selection of tasty ramen :) we were so stuffed, but even tried the dessert, because everything had been so delicious. Would definitely recommend, also very good value for money.

So so. Ordered tonkotsu. Watery taste, and small amount of liquid. Noodles were just okay. Meat was rough and not too softened. Eggs were yummy though.
Miles away from the likes of Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, not to mention better ramens. But okay.

Des petites ailes de poulet et brochettes de poulet pour débuter jusqu'au "Chicken Shio Ramen" délicieux, on à clairement voyager.
Service très agréable et aux petits soins.

A cosy Japanese ramen shop in Príncipe Real area. Staff are friendly and helpful, their non ramen selection is good and authentic. I like their ramen noodles but their soup stock are a bit off my liking: both shoyu and tonkotsu soup stocks are lacking depth and flavour. And yet I would still go back to try rest if the soup selections.

Ramen was good, but boiling hot - I burnt my mouth :(
The staff was very nice and we got our dishes quickly.
Pannacotta with matcha tea - disappointed my expectations a bit. And "with frutos vermelhos" there meant one raspberry and one blueberry.

A nice spot for Ramen and other asian dishes. The people were well informed and very kind. We went there on a saturday evening and it was full. So, be clever and make a reservation. We'll visit again, when we're back to lisbon.

It was the first time I tried ramen and loved it.
Everything was really good from the gyozas to the main plate which was superb. The desserts were a mix feeling. Some of us liked others didn't with what each one chose. Mine was good.
The service was good but not perfect. They friendly but sometimes forgot about something and because they had given us a small room just for us sometimes was difficult to call them back about something. But it was a great night with great food!

Nice little Japanese restaurant, good options for vegetarians, really enjoyed the gyoza and the ramen, didn't like the fact that the edamame is served cold, apart from that it tasted good.
They also had gluten free options for my friend and she really appreciated that as she is celiac.
Also mochi is not bad, green tea ice-cream is delicious!!

Entradas foram saborosas.
Ramen tem sabor mas a massa tem que ser melhorada. Não tenho por norma interesse em comer ramen com massa de espaguete normal quando vou a uma casa de ramen.
Variedade de ramen para todos os gostos mas faz falta um prato para os adeptos de spicy ramen.
Sobremesas foram ok. Gelado de chá verde foi dos mais parecidos provei em Portugal comprando com o que se consome no Japão.
Serviço um pouco demorado dado o espaço que existe no restaurante e número de clientes sentados.

Meh. Tasted four dishes. Miso ramen tastes like spicy water. They called it spicy mizu so it was kind of ironic. Zaru soba tsuyu wasn't tsuyu, tasted more like shoyu. Tsukemen soup tasted like salad dressing. Tantanmen was decent. 2 stars for the wifi.

Needed a break from western meals, the meal prices were the same as the ones in London. The waiter was very kind as he explains what the dishes are since the menu is only available in Spanish/Portuguese. Pretty mediocre - I ate the soba noodles but the ramen looked good so I suggest going for that. Dumplings are nice be hot and the tea was quite weak (needed to be brewed more). Overall a nice, quiet, spacious place to enjoy your meal and ideal for Naruto/Boruto fans to visit ;)

Price is under average (10/13 euros for a ramen). The stock/miso is good, decent ingredients, but the day I eat in...was not with fresh ramen noodles...and it felt more like spagetti. So I felt great with the entrances/covert...the flavour of the Ramen was good...but lacked good or acceptable ramen pasta. But still is a nice place for a dinner date.

The least Chinese-feel-like restaurant in Lisbon that can provide you edible Japanese dishes. Remember to reserve (call or email) if you want a table for one and half an hour anytime from 7pm-midnight because there is usually a long queue. 4 pieces of Gyuza will take about 20minutes but taste awesome. That's why I give them 3 stars. The ramen is not horrible at all but not that brilliant as you would expect from such a long queue and busy highly rated restaurant. Plus of that ramen takes about half an hour to be ready. If you are used to the authentic Japanese restaurant, this can be considered quite slow. Hopefully they'll get better when we have a chance to come back to Lisbon.

Came in around 8.30pm on a Friday. Place was busy, but they found a table for me as long as I was out by 9.15. Ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which was the most expensive and first row in that section of the menu - would normally indicate it's their feature option. Menu offered udon and soba noodles as replacements, so I tried the udon.
Broth was quite tasteless - a weak pork soup, no flavor and no fat. Chashu was okay. Udon did not work - too thick and did not absorb the soup at all. The nitamago egg was served whole (not sliced open).
Apparently they only just introduced the tonkotsu to the menu. The owner(?) came by and told me if I'd wanted an intense flavor, I should have ordered the shoyu. When asked why the nitamago was whole, she said it was simply to make a difference, and the other ramen options they have are served with it open. Very weird - serving it whole makes it difficult to eat (either spear it with a chopstick and eat like a lollipop, or use the spoon to pop the whole thing in your mouth at once?), and because it was not submerged in the broth, it was cold on one side.
Overall, a very underwhelming experience for what looked like their premium, highlighted option, and some inexplicable choices on the part of the chef. The place seems to be more about pretentiousness than about the quality of the food.

Amazing Ramen restaurant !!! Book ahead if you want to have dinner on the day! the space is very small but perfect, you're going to feel so welcome in there, the staff is very nice. Ask for the Spicy Chicken Ramen and the Pork buns, amazing!

Mais vale ir ao Ori do Colombo. Tempura não é tempura, mas um pome que faz lembrar as pinças congeladas, em cor e textura; giozas poderiam ser excelentes caso não fosse o exagero de gengibre em pickle e as massas (ramen e soba) não impressionaram. Em cima disso, para um estilo de comida "on the go", o tempo de espera, ainda para mais num dia de pouco movimento, é exagerado. O serviço prima pela simpatia.

After reading the great comments on here I was really expecting the food to be awesome but it was just ok.
We ordered ebi tempura and pork+vegetable goyza as starters, the ebi tempura was not served with the tempura dipping sauce with radish but with 2 sauces: a soy vinegar combo sauce I suspect it's the same as the goyza sauce and a kind of tartar sauce, plus the ebi tempura was not made with real tempura batter but bread crumbs batter (almost like the frozen breadcrumb prawns you get at the supermarket) ...the goyza was mushy not crispy at all on the one side that it was supposed to be I think they pre-pan fried them and steam it again to serve...the fillings inside the goyza was good fortunately.
I had the pork chashu ramen, the egg york was completely cooked which shouldn't be, the broth was not rich enough, the ramen noodles itself was average (it was over cooked for my preference but this is subjective and can be added on the menu for various degrees of al dente-ness for the noodles which many good ramen restaurants do)
Service was slow towards the end of our meal when we wanted to get the bill at 11pm, it was a Saturday night, and there were still lots of people waiting for tables, in addition, it started raining and people who were waiting came inside the restaurant, some came all the way towards the end of the restaurant next to the counter where our table was and stood very close to our table, grabbing beers and starters over the counter like it was some market place?!? I know this is a casual restaurant, but there is a limit and not being able to wait as civilised people to get a table before getting food/drinks is off putting no matter how hungry they could be...
Overall, since there are not many ramen restaurants in lisbon, this is acceptable, but I just don't think it is that good based on the comments on here which are deceiving.

If you are a fan of good Ramen and you are in Lisbon....you must come to this spot. The food is great. The price is fair. Service could be improved... But in this case... Since it is a very recent project... I can see this easily improved over time.

A good ramen place that, with some tweaks, can become excellent. Since eating ramen is becoming a trend in Lisbon it was no surprise when we arrived at the restaurant, without making and reservations, that it was fully booked. Fortunately, since we got there a bit before dinner time, they were able to find us a table. For starters we had some very good Shrimp Gyozas and Pork Gwa Bao Chashu. The bun was light and fluffy but the pork was a tiny bit dry. Then we had Pork Shoyu Ramen and Chicken Miso Ramen. The pork had a really nice and flavorful broth, and really fresh ingredients. The chicken had a milder tasting broth and the chicken itself was a bit dry. The noodles were the weaker part of the dishes as they tasted like instant ones. A shame since all the other ingredients were wonderfully fresh.
