Petit resto sympa de l'Alfama, cuisine typique et simple de poissons grillés. La terrasse privative est très agréable même en soirée.
Les serveurs sont sympas, la patronne a séjourné en France et parle extrêmement bien français et nous a même offert un petit digeo à la cerise, spécialité du coin visiblement.

The grilled sea bass I had was over cooked and under seasoned. My husband’s mixed meat grill was also under seasoned. the best tasting was probably the vinho verde I had. the small terrace was cute so it earned them a 2 star.

Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren dort, um möglichst authentischen portugiesischen Fado zu hören und haben uns in diesem kleinen Lokal sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Abendessen bestand passend zur Musik aus unterschiedllichen sehr guten Vorspeisen (wie Tapas in Spanien) mit sehr gutem regionalem Wein und Brot. Auch die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und die Musik mit einer Sängerin, einem Sänger und zwei Fado Gitarristen hat uns sehr angesprochen!

The waiter we had the chance to meet was neither polite nor helpful. With a totally empty place we were asked to move to another, smaller table which was under burning sun. Did not agree to split the table so accommodate us.
Hence, decided to leave the place before even ordering. After examining the comments of others, it seems to have been a good choice we made.

Delicious, authentic, reasonably priced. We had the mixed grill fish. Very fresh and well grilled. Would recommend, especially the outdoor terrace. Good ambience and service was lovely and very helpful.

Local typical food at reasonable price and good service. Fresh seafood as expected. We stayed nearby the place and walked pass by often. Staffs were very friendly and greeted our son all the time. It’s not so busy during our winter-season visit but believe summer would be packed.

After a long day of walking, we were hungry and stopped at this restaurant. The food was ok. No frills grilled sardines and mackerel. Prices were also reasonable although when we left we saw other restaurants in the area with slightly cheaper prices for the same item

Buon cibo, anche se il ristorante è frequentato quase esclusivamente da turista (il che è normale visto che si parla di Alfama). Abbiamo mangiato bene. Eravamo in 2 io e mio marito. Abbiamo mangiato un polpo delizioso e del bacalà arrosto e abbiamo bevuto vino verde della casa. Buono. Il prezzo è che mi è sembrato un po' caruccio.

Hello Hello, is there any flavour in there?
Normally my wife and I don’t go to a restaurant that is rated less than 4 stars, but since it was recommended by our local tour guide we thought we would give it a try. We ordered the “mixed grill meat” & “sea bass”. Should have stuck with our 4 star rule. Service was good though.

Service is friendly. Local tap beer. The fish was home cooked on the grill and very fresh. I recommend the sardines and the dorado. In Portugal they don’t eat the skin so don’t cause they leave the scales. All in all delicious just didn’t enjoy the prosciutto that much.

Pior restaurante de sempre. Pouco tem de típico a não ser a típica vontade de sacar dinheiro às pessoas... Não recomendo a ninguém, especialmente depois de ouvir a dona mandar servir os pratos mesmo que faltem alguns dos ingredientes. Deplorável!!! Comida péssima.

Trevlig personal, bra service. Resturangen bedrivs i två olika "lokaler", vi satt utanför den som ligger lite längre ned mot hamnen. Maten ok, fisken är som vanligt den bästa. Här visas bild på "grill mix", som bara får ok.

We stumbled across this place after visiting the Castelo de Sao Jorge. The ladies who work there are so friendly, and recommended us some delicious food - we had the cod bacalhau and the golden eye fish dish with super bock beer, and a glass of red wine. The food was so good, I forgot to take a picture of it!
The restaurant itself is really lovely, they have indoor seating, and an outdoor bit where you can enjoy the nice weather. The lady also mentioned that they have fado nights on Wednesdays, which I'm sure is amazing!
Next time i'm in Lisbon, I will definitely visit again.

Found this quaint little restaurant nearby to our apartment and stopped in, mostly for the black pork steak that I've come to enjoy. On a cool and misty night it was comfortably warm and cozy inside. Service was quick and attentive, menu choices offered a good selection of meat and fish dishes accompianed by french fries or boiled potatoes and mixed salad.
Servings were filling and typical of most restaurants we've eaten at in Portugal. Meals were delivered in a nice timely manner, prepared as requested and quite tasty.
Didn't find anything about the atmosphere or food that wasn't enjoyable and certainly enjoyed a more reasonable check after the meal than what we've found in most restaurants in Lisbon.
Certainly enjoyed eating here more than the other restaurants that we ate at in Lisbon.

We've had the best grilled Dorada in Lisbon! Perfectly served, super tasty, really well grilled. The whole meal was quick and inexpensive too. Much better than the reviews indicated

Kelner na bieżąco dopytywał czy wszystko ok i czy coś dodac.
Jedzenie bardzo bardzo smaczne: grillowana makrela pyszna a dorata po prostu fantastyczna! Ceny ok.

My wife and I stopped by this place for dinner one evening. It was a pleasant place, simple decor with very friendly staffs. The food was decent, I had the grill sea bass and it was very tasty but my wife though the octopus was average. We both enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert. Overall, it was a decent place.

Salade poulpe très bonne, le reste du repas bon. Le français n'est pas pratiqué, ce qui ne facilite pas les échanges. Mais serveur très agréable. Nous n'avons pas eu les honneurs de voir la patronne.

I got bacalau brass and it tasted like frozen. Parts of my dish were not super warm. We ordered a bottle of Alentejo wine, it wasn't good even though it wasn't the cheapest on the menu

한마디로 완전 추천하지 않습니다. 음식은 사진과 같지만 맛이 없었어요. 고기는 퍽퍽하고 건조했어요 ㅠㅠ 제일 참을 수 없는건 식전빵, 치즈, 올리브? 같은거를 처음에 주면서 메뉴판을 보여주며 음식먹으면 주는것처럼 굉장히 친절하게 설명하면서 주기에 빵이랑 치즈 먹었는데 나중에 가격을 보니 메인 메뉴보다 비싼 9.5유로;;; 이게 말이 되나요? 고작 빵과 치즈 몇조각 가지고 나중에 9.5유로라고 내라고 하는건 작정한거같네요. 처음에는 먹어도 되고 안먹어도 된다고만 했지, 얼마인지 그리고 돈을 내야하는건지는 분명 설명하지 않았어요. 첫 식사라 기분 나빠도 전부 계산했지만, 이런식으로 장사하면 안되죠. 포르투갈 첫 여행와서 처음으로 먹은 음식이었는데 덕분에 포르투갈에 대한 굉장히 기분 나쁜 첫인상이 되었어요. 이렇게 살지 마세요. 한귝읜들 졀돼롱 과쥐 뫄세욤. 와안죤 개솨긔임.

Aber der Fisch gegrillt war vorher nicht ausgenommen, wäre ja nicht schlimm, aber die Innereien waren total vermatscht... Wer da noch Appetit hatte konnte nicht mal den halben Fisch essen, da alles voll mit dem Brei war....

Nous avons découvert cette table pour notre première soirée. Nous y sommes retournés le dernier. Le rapport qualité prix est bon, le vin maison plus que bien (le blanc surtout), les assiettes copieuses et l'huile d'olive de bonne facture. Ce n'est pas un restau étoilé mais il est accueillant quand bien des tables du coin ne sont que des usines à touriste. Mention spéciale pour la patronne et le bar

Não recomendo a ninguém, atendimento simpático e acessível até à altura em que trazem a conta num papel escrito a mão que nem descriminava valores, e ao solicitar factura descriminadas funcionários começaram a tratar nos mal. Além de que roubam as pessoas nos valores que cobram pelas coisas, especialmente nas bebidas. Nunca mais lá volto e por mim bem que podem falir.

Très bon restaurant dans l'alfama. Serveur agréable, souriant. Service rapide.
Vu sur la cuisine ou l'on peut apprécié la préparation des repas. Les poissons étaient excellents ainsi que le steak.
La mousse au chocolat fait maison était aussi très bonne.
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

Super resto à l'écart de grandes terrasses, situé dans une petite ruelle à proximité du château Sao Jorge. Serveuse sympathique, aimable, de très bon conseil, parlant très bien le français au demeurant. Bacalhau "a brás " et vinho verde excellent.
Je recommande vivement.

Excellent resto, on y a manger à 4, prix corrects et nourriture de pays vraiment de bonne qualité. Serveurs enthousiastes et cuisiniers aussi. Une excellente expérience culinaire pour un petit restaurant comme celui ci!

El camarero fue muy atento y nos dio un buen servicio. Además el restaurante parecía limpio y cuidado, al igual que la terraza. Por el contrario la comida que pedimos nos decepciono bastante. El bacalao estaba insípido, no sabía a nada, no tenía la más mínima esencia, los calamares que pedimos de entrantes... :-( eran calamares a la romana congelados!!! y el pescado de mi marido, más de lo mismo... nada d sabor... No lo recomiendo!!! me da mucho làstima, pero no merece la pena para el precio que tiene...

Na ja, entsprach leider nicht den Erwartungen. Der Service war zwar sehr freundlich, aber das Essen war nicht so gut abgestimmt und etwas zu arg in Öl getränkt. Einzig die Vorspeisen-Oliven waren herrlich lecker gewürzt!!

Incredibly slow service. Half the stuff we ordered didn't even come. They don't seem equiped or staffed to serve everyone when the restaurant is at capacity. Freshly cooked dishes are good, but some of the starters, like the pasteis de bacalhau, had not been cooked on the day.

El sitio está bien pero...pedimos una ensalada que no estaba lavada, el bacalao a bras era patatas de paja, algo de huevo y un par de trozos de bacalao sin desmigar a modo de anchoas. No volveré.

The restaurant is divided into 2 parts, we sat in the more modern one. Waiter spilled sauce on my wife, didn't apologize. Steak was inedible, could not even be cut. Steer clear.

Excellent restaurant! Nous y sommes retourner 3 fois. C'est très typique et la musique y est excellente. Le joueur de guitar portugaise était très bon, il lui arrivait même de faire quelque solo pour son plaisir. L'ambiance y est chaleureuse, il est même possible de s'y arrêter prendre un verre sans manger pour écouter la musique.

Les sardines sont excellentes le poulpe et le calamar aussi. Nous avons opté pour l'option grande terrasse car la Fado avec les enfants même ados c'est pas l'idéal, il faut bien le dire. Une terrasse bien agréable, il ne faut pas se placer contre le mur du font de la cour, car sinon vous êtes à la merci des pigeons qui se laissent aller.

A part l'accueil, les saveurs n'était pas du tout au rendez vous sauf les plats frits. Mais bon pour raté un plat frit il en faut... La morue commandé était beaucoup trop salée et mal cuite, grillée sur la bord et à peine cuite au milieu. Le steak avec tranche de jambon était lui aussi trop salé. Ils ne m'ont même pas demandé la cuisson. C'était une vraie semelle. Le vin était correct. Mais je ne le recommande pas. 100 mètres plus loin, au même prix il y carrément mieux...

Rien à reprocher á ce petit restaurant. Nos deux plats (morue et barre grillés) étaient goûteux et de bonne qualité.

TripAdvisor reviews were not that great but we ventured here anyway. Really good house wine, traditional Portuguese food at good prices. Serious but friendly staff took time to explain a little about the local culture. Speak fluent French too! Whole sea bass hot off the grill was great! Seating in a small courtyard and trailing off onto a side street near one/two other restaurants catering for tourists.

Very cosy place in Alfama with tables in front of the house and in the small patio. Tipical Portugiese food including (but not restricted to) a lot of fish dishes and nice local wines and port. I had grilled octopus - just great! Friendly staff. Will definitely go there again next time I'm in Lisbon.
