Delicious food, handmade drinks, good menu (also in English) and nice view down the street to Tejo river. Waiter/waitress speak English, some even German.
Rather small plates, so you better take 2 courses or 3 if you are hungry. Service could be a little bit better - had to wait for every drink a little too long and tip was somehow anticipated (I did not receive any change).

Este é um restaurante muito especial. Eu, a minha mulher e alguns amigos vamos lá com frequência. Adoro a comida, o ambiente e a simpatia do Luigi e do restante pessoal.
Recomendo vivamente a quem goste de cogumelos.

Sublime .. Après des raviolis relevées à la sauce morilles, une glace maison excellente aux champignons. La serveuse parle très bien le français. Je recommande ce restaurant.

This place has something special. Such care and attention on the plates as Well as in the service. You feel welcome as if you were home (with better food:). Very accurate choice of music, played on vinyls, makes you want to stay all night and come back the next day. Beautiful team working there ! Every dish I tried had it's own charm and balance (crème brûlée with truffles, home made Raviolini, Beef filet, ...all delicious)
On a 5 days trip, been there 3 times and each time was exquisite.
I wish I could put 6 stars simply because this place has something more.

If you love mushrooms and all things related, then this is your mandatory stop. From the appetizers to the desserts, you will find that shroom taste even if only very subtle. It's vegetarian friendly, so everyone can have a good time. The portions are not large, but you'll end up quite satisfied.

Lovely service, stunning location - Above the fleas market and behind the Pantheon - the decor is simple, coZy and warm.
Music in the background was great too.. vinyls were playing! It gave an extras to the whole experience.
I love mushrooms and this restaurant made my day! The food was scrumptious! Excellent presentation too! We had gnocchi and filled pasta. Outstanding texture of the dough. Cooked to perfection.. the filling was great and the sauces as well : amazing.
The waitress recommended us some dessert.. the mushrooms ice cream - with a touch of salted caramel and marron glacé- made me emotional to the point that I felt I was about to cry.
Even the Aperitivo was just delish. Wines top!!

I didn’t spot the fried mushrooms on the menu DAMN! I was to full after starter and main and I wanted a dessert otherwise I would have ordered that ones too :)!

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Everything is with mushrooms and it’s all about mushrooms..basically a paradise! You have to try the porcini ice cream..it will touch your heart!

O sítio não é muito grande mas é acolhedor e interessante. O staff é simpático. A comida é de vi a qualidade e muito saborosa. O conceito é interessante. Não é dos restaurantes mais baratos mas vale a pena pela viagem gastronómica

O difícil é escolher... pratos creativos, diferentes, muito saborosos! Gostei de tudo o que comi. A sobremesa (a primeira da lista) é absolutamente top. Interior muito acolhedor, bom ambiente, boa música num volume que não chateia e permite conversar à vontade. Serviço simpático. A voltar ainda muitas vezes, sem dúvida!

Words don’t do this restaurant justice. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give it to Santa Clara dos Cogumelos. Food from start to finish was of exceptional quality and the flavors were cleverly put together. The cocktails and wines were of great quality and the service was amazing. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough... it’s rare that a restaurant stuns me and I will probably be back during my month's stay in Lisbon.

I surprised my husband for a birthday dinner, what a lovely evening! We both had soup for starters, mushroom and the spicy asian one, absolutely delicious! We followed that with the tagliata and gnocchi which were both just amazing! The house wine was quaffable and lovely and the staff are just divine. Don't think about it, just go for dinner, you will have a superb eve! Prices vs quality very reasonable. Will be back!!! :)

We headed out to Santa Clara dos Cogumelos not really knowing what to expect from a mushroom-centric restaurant. Let me put any doubts to rest: even if you are not a fan of mushrooms in general they will make you change your mind with the first bite. The food is exquisite from start to finish, and the staff is friendly and attentive. A wonderful choice for dinner in Lisbon.

Sitio imprescindible donde los haya para los foodies, todos los platos (postres incluidos) tiene como ingrediente protagonista los cogumelos (setas en portugués). El sitio tiene una decoración y un ambiente muy particular. Destacable el ceviche (sublime), el risotto y el gelado de boletus. Unos 25/30e persona. En mi opinión merecidos.

Une petite pépite qui se trouvait, à notre grande surprise, à côté de notre logement!
Service impeccable avec des serveurs souriantes et sympathiques, plats atypiques et succulents dans le thème des champignons, et déco quasi fantasmagorique à certains moments!
C'est un lieu à découvrir absolument , ne serait-ce que pour la crème brûlée aux cèpes et au réglisse !

I had a great experience here. I wandered in as a solo traveler and they were pretty quick to getting me a seat at the bar and even a table in the dining room. It’s all about mushrooms here- in all shapes, sizes and flavors. It does not disappoint either! I found the food inventive and delicious. The service was fast, and the space is quite attractive- very quirky and appealing. It’s also a great place to have a cocktail at the bar. The best meal I had in Lisbon!

Restaurante muy original en su carta. Muy bonito y acogedor. Conviene reservar no es muy grande. Toda la carta esta elaborada con setas y variedades de setas incluyendo los postres. Recomendable el rissotto d cogemelos y l postre q es como crema catalana pero hecha de trufa. Camareros muy agradables. Probar el vino dulce de postre tipo Oporto.

Service was supernice and efficent, no doubt about it, but that's the only positive about this place I can find:/ (oh, wait, interior has a nice artistic touch!). The ratio quality of the food & price is dreadful. The menu is very small (only 4 starters - all DEEP FRIED dishes of lousy quality. We ordered mushrooms and crocetas - overfried and poor, costing around 8 euros each! I felt like in a bad village english pub). Mains (steak cut beef chunks) were pretty basic and are hardly worth a half price of what is served. I've eaten in tens of restaurants in Lisbon and has never left the door with such dissatisfaction and disappointment. This place has a potential but needs to undergo a massive change - IN THE KITCHEN!!!

Everything, absolutely everything, was perfect. From the appetizers with the fried mushrooms, the delicious mushroom soup, through the mushroom rizzoto to the (guess what) mushroom ice cream. The staff was also very very nice and easy to talk to. Definitely going back!

Está en la primera planta de un portal con una entrada pequeña, en el mercado de Santa Clara, no se ve paseando, pasa desapercibido. Es un pequeño restaurante micológico con mucho encanto, toda la carta se basa en las setas, incluidos los postres. Los platos son originales, elaborados, creativos y sabrosos. Ambiente agradable, buen servicio, muy amable, precio asequible. Recomendable.

Posto a tema funghi, non solo porcini ma anche tartufo e shitake giapponese. Piatti creativi ben studiati, tutti deliziosi! Misto di tradizione portoghese italiana e giapponese.
Consigliatissima come antipasto la mousse di porcini e da provare i dolci assurdi, soprattutto la crème brulée al tartufo, un sapore unico che il cervello fatica a comprendere!

Last dinner in Lisbon before flying back. And definitely, the best way to end the vacation. An amazing dinner, with a menu based on mushrooms. I really recommend the ravioloni, whose taste was just amazing. Really unexpected also the dessert: ice cream with mushroom. Kind of weird of combination, but it works perfectly! // Ottimo menu a base di funghi, in tutte le loro forme e colori! Davvero ottimi i ravioloni, con un gusto decisamente ricercato. Un consiglio: provate assolutamente il gelato a base di funghi. Una combinazione azzardata, ma che stupisce incredibilmente.

Frankly the best dinner in Lisbon. Not the most typical food, but still the best one, ravioli were incredibile and the ice cream as well. Highly recommended. / La migliore cena a Lisbona. Super charming place with comforting, refined dishes all centred around mushrooms. The homemade pasta was decadent, as was the scallops, and Burrata. Just a very lovely place for a nice dinner out with your loved one.

Das Essen ist ein Gedicht! Dieses Restaurant hat unseren unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in Lissabon abgerundet.
Als Dessert kann ich das Pilz-Eis empfehlen. Es wird zwar nicht meine Lieblingseissorte werden, aber es ist keines Wegs das schlechteste Eis und auf jeden Fall die Erfahrung wert.

Thank you for welcoming us in your house in such an honest, humble and kind way. We came quite late around 10 pm and yes we were already feeling the happy saturday mood.
I really don't remember the last time I was so relaxed and that I felt so good in a restaurant... Really, I became quite emotional beacuse of the whole experience.... The food was delicious, we loved everything you have suggested as well as the Crème brûlée with truffels at the end... The wine was excellent too...

Il locale è carino con un servizio attento ed un menù che fa del fungo e del tartufo i suoi ingredienti cardine, dall'antipasto al dolce.
Il salmone tataki con shiitake era a dir poco delizioso e lo consiglio a tutti gli appassionati dell'abbinamento funghi/pesce.
Inoltre non perdete l'occasione di assaggiare i dolci sono ottimi e davvero particolari.
In conclusione se siete amanti dei funghi questo locale fa decisamente per voi.

Amazing service and location. The food is unique: mushroom in all its declination, form the starter till the dessert (and mushroom ice cream is delicious!) combined with meat, fish, vegetables, cheese. The passion and dedication of the owner Luigi is reflected by the quality of everything that comes out from the kitchen. It is the place where I like to go when I want to spoil myself and be sure of having a great meal.

Absolutely terrific place, never had so much fun with eating. A guy who did service was like somebody from Brian's life. Do not mess with toadstools anyway, die hard in this unusual restaurant. Icecream with, let's say, macadamia mushrooms, spooky and surprising. Last, but not least, place not pretentious.

Acabei de sair desse restaurante. Tentei jantar lá. Entrei, e foi como se eu não existisse. Os empregados de mesa simplesmente passavam por mim, me ilhavam e não me recebiam. Ignoravam mesmo, como se eu não existisse. Tive que tomar a atitude de ir falar com uma moça que estava no bar, então o empregado de mesa finalmente reconheceu a minha existência e veio me dizer que o restaurante estava cheio, e me recomendou ir embora. O pior atendimento que eu já tive em um restaurante de Lisboa.

Wat een top tent! We hadden niet gereserveerd dus konden pas om 21:30u aanschuiven, maar het was nog hartstikke gezellig en druk.
Alle gerechten zijn rondom de paddestoel bedacht en allemaal even speciaal en lekker. Vooral ‘the perfect egg’ en de burrata waren echt ontzettend lekker! De service is hartelijk en de wijnen zijn goed. Hele leuk ervaring! Zou er zeker nog eens heen gaan.

Excellent! Tout est à l'image des personnes qui vous accueillent, CLASSE! Dans ce cadre authentique, derrière le panthéon.
Du champignon, quasi-que du champignon! Les plats sont variés et d'une absolue finesse. L'une de mes filles n'aime pas les champignons, qu'à cela ne tienne, les hôtes lui ont concocté un plat sur mesure.
Particularité non négligeable, le fond sonore est assuré par une platine vinyle. Le serveur change lui-même les albums de Clapton, Velvet underground et autres albums de jazz.
Un moment unique, hors du temps; un ravissement, pour les yeux, les oreilles et surtout les papilles.
Et même si vous demandez "l'adicion" comme je l'ai fait moi-même, ils vous porteront avec le sourire la "conta" Merci Messieurs! Un super souvenir!

Comida excelente! Pedi uma sopa fria de alho com cogumelos que foi surpreendente no frescor. E como prato principal pedi nhoque com cogumelos que veio acompanhado de uma espuma de queijo. Tudo muito bom, feito com capricho e por quem sabe cozinhar. Super recomendo!

This restaurant is specializing in mushroom dishes of all kinds, including desserts. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable about their food and speaks excellent English. Every dish we tried was amazing and the only regret we have is that we did not have room to try more from the menu! The house wine is extremely good and overall this was an absolute delight. Recommending to everyone visiting Lisbon and hope to make it back here soon!

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant, happy to be seated without a reservation on a Thursday night. The atmosphere and servers are all very nice, and the food was outstanding. We had the mushrooms marinated in sweet and sour sauce with bread to start, it was one of the top 3 dishes I’ve ever tasted. I had the risotto, which was also outstanding (I am a vegetarian and was happy to find many options!). For dessert we had the Portobello Mushroom Ice Cream- it sounds a bit weird but it a must try! Some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had. Recommended 110%

Let's start with the bad things!!! The place is very nice, it's located on top of an old marketplace (today a huge flea market), besides the great "National Pantheon" and if you are lucky to be there early enough, you can even see the Tejo from your table!
Now the good things ;) The service is just perfect, they speak pretty much every westeuropean language, are funny and very respectful, they know very good how to handle time with breaks and smiles in-between. The owner of the restaurant is one of this people who just gives positive energy, which you can both feel in the room and taste in your food. The music was very nice, very mixed, not too loud, just beautiful. And naturally the most important and best thing in this restaurant: the amazing food! Their concept is basically this: let's cook very good and tasty food and make it better with some delicious mushrooms! (Some of the plates are just the mushrooms :D). We have had less than an hour before coming there some bread and olives and were not extremely hungry, still wanted to try as much as possible. After trying two different wines, we got the "vihno Verde" For starter we had the shiitake in a butter & garlic sauce, with some koriander and bread!!! I know it was awesome! Then we split a "Tagliata com Tartufo" which could not be better! The meat (perfect medium) accompanied with a cream sauce (I suppose), some slices of Tartufo and the best selerytuber puree in the world! And yes they have desserts and they are awesome too! We had a chocolate & carrots cake with a homemade mushrooms ice-cream and caramelized chestnuts, just the best. Many thanks again to the whole team and hopefully until next.

No solo me encantó, es el primer sitio al que volveré una vez en Lisboa. Todo muy rico, servicio estupendo, todos muy atentos. Las vistas y la decoración del local inolvidables. Pero todo esto está superado por la comida. Cada plato está hecho de setas, incluyendo los postres. Y no me podría imaginar nada mejor. Lo que más me sorprendió fue helado de setas. Great receipts with a wide selection of mushrooms. Everything was delicious and not only the marvellous fungi, we had salmon, veal steak and risotto. For desert we tried the creme brulé with porcini and truffle ( it is an acquired taste, not easy to enjoy at first) and a delicious mushroom free cake of chocolate and figs. Just a last note to add that this is not a child friendly place ( although we were with a 14th month baby and there were at least 2 more toddlers) since the access is via a staircase (just one floor though) and there was no highchairs for toddlers. We enjoy eating out and have our baby to sit next us since now the baby is eating most of what we do anyway.
