Wir waren erst gestern hier und fanden das Restaurant, den Besitzer und natürlich das Essen sehr gut! "Os Minhotos" liegt nah am Hafen von Alfama und ist sehr gut erreichbar. Draußen kann man mit dem Ausblick auf eine hübsche Steintreppe essen. Die Besitzer sind ein älteres Ehepaar, die zwar von der "alten Schule" sind, aber einen sehr herzlich empfangen und auch recht gut Englisch sprechen. Das Essen ist lecker, angenehm günstig und wird nach Hausfrauenart zubereitet. Dazu gehört wohl auch ordentlich Salz und daher leider ein Stern Abzug.

Hier kun je heerlijke visgerechten eten en ook vlees. Je krijgt je gerechten (flinke portie) met friet en wat rijst en sla geserveerd. Verwacht geen romantisch sfeervol tentje, maar een simpel klein restaurantje waar locals een hapje eten. De prijzen zijn zeer laag! En zeer vriendelijke bediening. Zeer goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding!

Very kind man running the restaurant with his wife. The food, especially the fish, was delicous. Everyone should try it. Excellent!

Preisgünstig und sehr gut. Spricht gut englisch und hilfreich bei der Speiseauswahl. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Amazing local food, nice terrace outside sunny and out of the wind. The service was lovely. We had fresh sardines with fresh chips and salad. The cheese as a starter was also really nice and fresh!

Der Oktopussalat war ein Traum! Super zart und frisch (und nicht gummrig, wie es leider zu oft passiert). Auch die gebraten Wurst war gut zubereitet, wenngleich nicht ganz unser Fall. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und es wirkt sehr authentisch.

Parece cutre pero es de lo más típico donde puedes comer comida portuguesa. Las sardinas... las mejores q he comido alli, la ensalada de polvo muy buena. Por fuera no lo recomiendo pero para comer es BUENÍSIMO

Very authentic food, cooked on the spot. My grilled dorata for 9 Eur, including salad and homemade fries was really worth it. Tiny, characteristic place.

Very nice small restaurant. The restaurant belongs to a friendly old couple that makes everything by hand and with a lot of love, even the fries. There isn't any Frozen stuff and it feels like eating at your grandparents house. If your looking for an authentic Portuguese experience that also won't hurt you are pocket this is the place!

If you want original cooked Portuguese fish there is no better place. Don't bother with the meat, the fish is amazing. Also one of the very few places where the fries are 100% hand made. Can only recommend.

The sausage was not good. The tuna salad was made of canned tuna :-(. The service was quite cold as well. There are definitely better places around.

I eat a tasteless and completely overprized pork for the place standards (15 euros!!). Neither service nor the place are nice. I don't understand that punctuation they got.

Lugar sencillo, barato y con comida exquisita. Puede resultar cutre para gente estirada.

Run by an old Portuguese couple, this place is charming and most importantly, offers very good food. The interior is very small and maybe for some a bit outdated, for others considered vintage, but when you sit on the terrace this doesn't matter. Take your time and enjoy the local foods.
