I travel a lot for my work and I surf a lot. When you arrive in a foreign spot and only have a few hours to surf, it is problematic to a)know when and where to surf and b) where to rent a board (I always travel with my wetsuit). To save time, I always reach out to local surf schools and boar rental places ahead of time before I arrive so everything is in place to surf ahead of time. These experiences vary a lot Alex went out of his way to help the first time (and during my other trips there as well)— he was there at 6:30 AM at my hotel with a board in tow and drove me to the spot that matched my abilities (average on good days). Each time I visit Lisbon, I can always count on Alex or someone else from his team to really help create a great surfing experience. My hunch is that he will help you whether you are a complete beginner or if you are an expert and are looking to surf a shallow reef. I don't know know Alex that well, but he also seems like a real nice and decent guy.

My friend stayed in air bnb run by surfgasm lda. The apartment was never cleaned, host was ignorant and continually ignored everyone in house. Host also stated to other host they felt unsafe and was frightened to leave!

Wer sehr günstig (über AirBnb) und zentral in Lissabon unterkommen will, ist hier richtig. Im 6. Stock (kein Aufzug) gelegen, mit einer Dachterrasse mit toller Aussicht, zwar winzigen Schlafzimmern, wo gerade ein Doppelbett reinpasst, aber ansonsten komplett mit Küche, Wohnraum, Bad , WC ausgestattet - quasi WG-mäßig. Absolut empfehlenswert!
